EPISODE 9
-> Ji-eun finds out about Sae-hoon’s buying the villa. (Wehehe, the knowing look on their faces, Jung-min and Mi-ran around also.)
-> Jung-min steals a kiss from Ji-eun but not before saying another cheesy line. Ji-eun asks him if he needs anything. He goes, “The only thing I need is you.” (See? cheesy!!!)
-> (I love this part) Here’s what happened: Mi-ran asks Ji-eun to pick up to the lotion cap that fell near the edge of the boat/yacht whatever. When she was reaching for it, she accidentally fell to the water. (Remember from Episode 1, Ji-eun said she can’t swim. Just like me. Lol.) Jung-min and Sae-hoon both jumped to save her. They were alternating and Sae-hoon was able saved her first. When Ji-eun woke up, the first face she saw was Jung-min’s so she thought it was him who saved her. After a split second, she lost consciousness. (Note: the guys were wearing white pants! Wehehe, MM aka Maniac Mode. The leading man looks really cute when his wet. His face turns reddish.)
-> Ji-eun wakes up and sees Sae-hoon in her room. When he saw her awoke, he turns to leave. Ji-eun calls him <Sae-hoon shi! SAe-hoon shi! Don’t go!> but Sae-hoon wouldn’t stay. -> It’s just Ji-eun’s dream, the one who was by her side when she woke up was Jung-min.
-> Ji-eun and Jung-min were talking. She tells him to leave her already since he’s been by her side for a long time.
JM: Why are you trying to chase me away?
JE: I’m not chasing you away.
JM: Does being alone with me scare you? Do you think I’d attack you because I stole a kiss from you the other day? (Jung-min sniffs around) Do you smell something burning? (Ji-eun sniffs around too) My heart is burning up. (Gah~~ Jung-min is really SOOOO CORNY!!!)
Meanwhile, Sae-hoon is outside Ji-eun’s room, gathering guts to knoch. He changes his mind and leaves. He sees Mi-ran who’s on her way to Ji-eun’s room. She asks why SAe-hoon is there, he said he has something to talk about with Jung-min. (That’s just his alibi.) He leaves and Mi-ran proceeds.
Back to Jung-min and Ji-eun…
JM: What can I do to make you my woman? What can I do to steal your heart? Should I put my life on the line? I have to hear you say you love me. Stop looking away and looks at me. Don’t push me away because of the pain you suffered in the past. I want to be able to kiss you anytime. (Duh, you do steal kisses from time to time anyways!)
Jung-min and Ji-eun were about to kiss when Mi-ran walks in.
JM: You came at the most crucial moment. (Anak ng tokawa, si miran naman oh!)
-> This is so heart-wrenching…Because Sae-hoon couldn’t go inside Ji-eun’s room, he went to the beach and reminisces he and Ji-eun’s Jeju moments 10 years ago. He was walking in the beach under the pouring rain, while later, Ji-eun arrives with an umbrella. She stands far from him, just watching him, crying. There were no lines spoken, just Lee Seung Chul’s Destiny playing on the background. (Awww~~)

epISODE 10
-> Man, this is awkward! It’s one of those Sae-hoon-and-Ji-eun-talking-side–by-side-talking-about-their-past-and-why-they-can’t-be-together-this-time scenes. Jung-min sees them and suspects. Ji-eun says immediately that they were just talking. (See, that makes it more suspicious! Don’t do that!) She adds that she was just thanking him for saving her yesterday. Jung-min not buying it says, “That was a long thank you.” Mi-ran comes to the rescue, says that she and Sae-hoon had an argument and she confided in Ji-eun and that Ji-eun is probably talking to Sae-hoon to make him make up with Mi-ran. That’s when Jung-min stopped suspecting.
-> Ji-eun makes an impression on Mr. Roseman so when the merger was closed, she was appointed to represent him in the Seolin Company. Ji-eun tells him that she’ll think about it. (It would be uncomfortable to work with Jung-min and Sae-hoon in the same company.) Sae-hoon tells her, “I’m not going to force you but if you don’t mind, I want to work with you.” (*flinches*)
-> No reason. What Jung-min did to Ji-eun’s hand just looks cute. (Lol.)
-> Sae-hoon & Jung-min are talking about hiring Ji-eun
JM: You will not regret hiring her.
SH: You might regret it. (Lol. That’s very true Sae-hoon!)
JM: Yes, I may if she buries herself with work and leaves no time for me. (That’s not it you fool!)
-> (WAAH! Ang corny talaga ni Jung-min!) So ok, there’s a party to celebrate the merger. Ji-eun was of course serving the guests since that’s her job. She sees Jung-min and he winks at her. (Ang corny niya talaga!!)
Mr. Roseman finished singing and he turns over the mic to Sae-hoon. Sae-hoon, after much urging from his colleagues, grants their request. He gets up on the stage and starts to sung. What’s the song? AND I LOVE YOU SO!!!! Hearing the sing, Ji-eun turns her head to the stage. Sae-hoon was looking at her while singing and Ji-eun is doing the same thing. Mi-ran was looking at Sae-hoon, too, lovingly but seeing that his gazes are not for her, she follows his gazes, pointing to Ji-eun. (Hehe, and you thought he was singing for you??!!?)
-> Jung-min is just so cute here. Ji-eun’s talking to her mom when Jung-min snatches the phone from her to talk to mom. (Close sila diba?) He goes, “It’s me mother. I’ll be coming back to Seoul tomorrow. Are you going to prepare a feast for me? (Ji-eun looks at him) Ji-eun just gave me a dirty look.” We also find out that Jung-min is attached to Ji-eun’s mom because he has no mom.
-> Jung-min asks Ji-eun again to tell him her secret. Ji-eun goes, “I’ll tell you when we get back to Seoul. If you never want to see me again, I understand. I don’t what you to get hurt because of me.” Jung-min is picking up… “Is it because of a man? anything to do with your ex-husband?”
-> Sae-hoon is going up to Ji-eun’s room, and so are Ji-eun and Jung-min. (I love this scene, para kong aatakehin sa puso!) Dugdugdugdug…
Sae-hoon was in the room first, while Jung-min and Ji-eun are outside the door. Jung-min is saying goodnight to Ji-eun.
JM: I want to tell you that I’ll never regret meeting you, no matter what happens. (Sabi mo yan ah!) Just tell me when you want to. One more thing, lock the door or else I might barge in. (Hikhikhik.)
JE: You should go.
JM: I can’t seem to move. See you in my dreams. (Heck, ang corny!)
Meanwhile, Sae-hoon hides first because he cant do anything anymore to leave the room since they’re outside.
Ji-eun sees Sae-hoon in her room, shocked and asks why he’s in there. Sae-hoon says he came to talk to her. Walking in the hallway, Jung-min feels Ji-eun’s cellphone in his pocket so he walks back to Ji-eun’s room to give it back to her. Dugdugdugdug… (Gah~~ I was so nervous watching this before… kakatense!)
MY first reaction here: Sabi na nga eh! You should’ve locked the freaking door!
So Jung-min opens the door and sees Sae-hoon and Ji-eun inside. His facial expression drastically changed.
JM: Was this it?
SH: Director Seo, let’s go out and talk. Let’s go outside.
Jung-min walks out of the room and Ji-eun follows Jung-min.
SH: Honey stay here. (kase naman! That did it! I so swear, this is the line that I’m gonna remember forever in this drama!)
I love the part when the 3 characters’ reactions were shown.
Sae-hoon -> probably cursing himself for saying that one line.
Ji-eun -> didn’t know what to say or do, so she just bent her head.
Jung-min -> stops to turn to the both of them and says, “Honey?”
Jung-min and Sae-hoon go outside and Jung-min starts hitting Sae-hoon everywhere. Being the mature man that he is, Sae-hoon didn’t fight back because he knows he’s the wrong one. All he wants to do is for Jung-min to listen to his explanation but Jung-min wouldn’t hear him out. Ji-eun comes and tries to talk to Jung-min too but all he said was, I don’t want to hear your voice. Don’t open your mouth in front of me.” (Ok, fine.) Sae-hoon and Ji-eun were left. Sae-hoon said sorry and that he didn’t mean for that to happen. Ji-eun says that it’s for the best since he’s going to find out sooner or later. The best thing for them to do is just to ignore each other so as not to complicate the situation even more.
I dunno how the hell Mi-ran found out but she did anyways. Antagonists always have an extra ear or eyes somewhere. (hehe) That freaking psycho goes to Ji-eun’s room to slap her but Ji-eun stopped her. (Kala mo ha! No no no, Missy, you can’t do that to her anymore!) She tells Mi-ran, “DON’T PROVOKE ME ANYMORE. I have no desire for your man. If I wanted him, I would’ve had him a long time ago. Got that?” (Go girl!) When Mi-ran went out, she cried her heart out. (She’s so galing!)
-> Because he feels bad, his singing again. (Lol. he sings better here. di nagwawala. Lol. To the girls clinging to him, tabi-tabi or you might get strangled! Gah~~ they remind me of the dancers in Shinhwa’s Brand New MV. I want to get rid of those girls so bad.) One of the girls asks him, “Jung-min, did something happen?” His answer -> “Of course something happened. Have you ever been hit by a lightning? I was hit by a lightning yesterday. It hurt so much that even my heart was burned.”
The girl said that she’s going to make him feel better. And what’s her oh so smart idea? Go to bed! (My reaction: No no! again with my hands forming an X in front of me!) But Jung-min turned her down. (Whew, buti naman. In fairness, the girl is pretty.)
-> Jung-min was taking a walk in Ji-eun’s neighborhood. Young-eun is coming out of a taxi so she saw Jung-min’s shadow but she’s too drunk to make sure. When she got home, she asks Ji-eun, “Was Jung-min here? I thought I saw him.” (Ji-eun hurriedly looks outside) “I thought you said you don’t like him. Now you’re showing your true feelings? Can u send me abroad if you marry him?” (She really had to add that?!?!!?)
epISODE 11
-> Ji-eun goes to the office and sees Jung-min. He ignored her and just walked past her. Sae-hoon was coming out also so he saw how Jung-min treated Ji-eun. Ji-eun runs after Jung-min but Jung-min wouldn’t really talk to her.
-> Next scene, Sae-hoon and Ji-eun are talking side by side again. (Again, the dialogues are just from my memory because I wasn’t able to copy it.)
SH: Why are you clinging to a jerk like that? What do you want? A job? Money? I can give you that. (Woohoohoo, he’s just jealous!!)
JE: Don’t badmouth Jung-min infront of me. He’s a good person no matter what everyone says.
SH: Do you love that man?
JE: Maybe I did want to love him.
SH: Look at what we’ve become! We went the wrong way, and we’re back from the start.
JE: Yes, we did went the wrong way, but we’re not back to the beginning.
SH: No matter how far I go, I don’t think I can get away from you.
JE: Let’s put an end to this. Forget about giving me a job in your company.
SH: Neither Director Seo nor I gave you that job. It’s a chance that came your way.
Gah~~ I’m so bad at this. The conversation was better than that. You can really smell the friction between them and I love it!
Turns out, they were being watched. Mi-ran hired someone to spy on them. What a loser! She throws a fit and begins throwing everything she can take a hold of. (In later episodes, she’s gonna ruin a lot of things pa. Ang hilig magtapon ng gamit!)
-> Jung-min listens to his MP3 player and sees his and Ji-eun’s pictures saved on that. (Lovers in Paris also has a scene like this – Soo-hyuk listening to his mp3 player, for him it signifies waiting, I dunno about Jung-min. But I think it’s a transition for him that he’s gonna swallow his pride and go after Ji-eun.)
-> Ji-eun sees Jung-min in front of her house, waiting for her.
JM: Let’s hear it.
JE: Sorry. Thank you for everything.
JM: Sounds like you’ll never see me again.
Ji-eun gets off car and walks away. Jung-min gets off too and yells at Ji-eun.
JM: I started it so I’ll be the one to finish it. (closes door) Stop right there! (Ji-eun about to continue walking) Don’t take another step! You ripped my heart into pieces and now you want to leave? You have to give me a chance. (walks towards Ji-eun) Do you know what makes me so nervous? It’s that you might leave me.
JE: (facing him this time) We started at the wrong foot.
JM: We can start fresh on the right foot. Be honest with your feelings. You like me. You like me too.
JE: Yes, I like you.
JM: Then stop being so proud and don’t let me go!
Ji-eun turns her back again and Jung-min hugs her from behind.
JM: We can start over. (WAH!!!)
-> They went shopping to get Ji-eun ready for her first day of work the next day. They stop to sit at a bench and ponder.
JM: I love the present you and now who you were in the past.
JE: I never knew you’d be so considerate.
JM: Shouldn’t you shed a tear if you’re touched? (lol.)

Jung-min gets them something to drink. Ji-eun talks to Jung-min’s disappearing back, “I tried to avoid you because I thought id only end up receiving and not giving back. I know I have no right to get involved with you, and I feel bad for you. But I want to lean on you. I do want to tell you that you’re the only man for me now.”
-> Sae-hoon, Mi-ran, Mi-ran’s dad, Jung-min’s dad and his biotch GRO wife are having lunch. Jung-min and Ji-eun arrives at the same place. An usher tells them where Jung-min’s dad is at. He goes, “No, we’re not joining them.” But his dad’s biotch wife sees them so they were forced to at least say hi. (Bwiset that biotch!)
-> Ji-eun is freshening up at the ladies room when Mi-ran walks in. She ridicules Ji-eun about showing up everywhere she goes (Duh, as if the restaurant is yours and public can’t go there! Gah, hate her!) and having nabbed a rich guy like Jung-min when she’s a divorcee. The biotch wife was going to the ladies room as well so she hears their conversation. (Why is she always going to the ladies room??? Does she have a urinary problem or something?) She of course relays the information to her husband. (What a big mouth!)
-> When Jung-min brings Ji-eun home, she gets a call but wouldn’t tell Jung-min who was it. She goes in. when Jung-min left, goes back outside and leaves. Jung-min goes home and asks his dad’s wife about his dad’s whereabouts, she says he’s meeting someone. Kinutuban na si Jung-min. And he’s right, Ji-eun went to meet his dad. Jung-min’s dad tells her that he would never want a divorcee as a daughter-in-law. (Duh, as if your wife is so decent! This is freaking ironic!) He mocks her more by saying that she can date Jung-min but just don’t make noise, he’ll pay her handsomely. This kinda irked Ji-eun and said that she’s not that kind of woman. Jung-min’s dad yells at her and that’s when Jung-min walks in. He fights with her dad and demands him to apologize to Ji-eun. He says, “This woman…she’s my god. Do you understand that?” He pulls Ji-eun out of the room and along the way, they see ae-hoon. Jung-min glares at him while Ji-eun looks at him helplessly.
