26. The following morning, Yehwon was walking to school with Kyungwon, she feels really low because of last night.
Kyungwon -> You’re such a fool.
Yehwon -> Yeah, we’re a bunch of fools.
Kyungwon -> (comes in front of her) That’s not it! Didn’t you know its main gate and the back gate look the same? Where were you? I heard Eunsung waited all night at the main gate.
Yehwon didn’t think for a minute, gave Kyungwon her back and started running away.
27. Yehwon goes to Eunsung’s hospital, Hyobin, Bitna, Floppy, Hyunsung and Sungjae were there visiting Eunsung. She barges in and Floppy goes, “You didn’t go to school?” Yehwon asks him, “Did you wait all night? Tell me, did you?” Eunsung is mad so he tells her to get out. Bitna is also telling her to scram. Not knowing where her courage came from, she runs to Eunsung and kisses him. (Woohoohoo.)

28. So everything got cleared up, Eunsung waited at the front gate while Yehwon at the back gate. <In the novel, it was the other way around, Yehwon was at the entrance while Eunsung was in the exit.> Eunsung tells Yehwon, “I’m warning you…No more games with me, okay? How dare you” -> he said this in a kind of jokingly way. Just like that, they’re back together. Right then, Floppy opens the door and asks, “Yehwon, what’s Kyungwon up to?” (He hasn’t seen her for days.) Eunsung throws something at him to shoo him away.
<It’s cuter in the novel, while everyone left, Floppy stayed with Yehwon and Eunsung, he’s kind of jealous that Eunsung favors Yehwon now more than him. He’s like, ““When I ask you how you’re doing you ignore me and when Yehwon asks you answer.. Eunsung’s mean!!” -> Isn’t that cute? Eunsung goes, “Aren’t you leaving?” Floppy -> “It’s scary out there…I don’t wanna…” Eunsung -> “Then go out the window.” Floppy -> “But it’s the 3rd floor! You’re mean. Did you leave me for HER already?” Floppy’s so cute!!!>
29. Eunsung and Yehwon are watching a movie when Eunsung goes, “Your hands are cold. Give me your hand.” Yehwon was like, “Huh?” Eunsung grabs her hand, intertwines their fingers together and raises it. They stay like that for a few seconds until Eunsung lets go shyly. He starts talking again, “You have big hands….like bear’s feet.” (Bastos talaga!) <I don’t remember a scene like this in the novel.>
30. Let’s see how Yehwon gets back at him. She sees a book that Eunsung was reading – Alibaba.
Yehwon -> Did you read that Alibaba?
I read that when I was a little.
Really? How about Snow White?
The dwarfs are in it.

She steals the shoes. (-> WTF???)
(a bit impressed) So…what about Little Mermaid?
Stop it! You think I’m that ignorant? The Little Mermaid dies after eating an apple. (-> OMFG! Thank God you’re hecka hot!)
Yehwon gives him an I-cant-believe-you look, smudges her mouth with ice cream and runs away. Eunsung goes, “Aish! Get back here!” (err, Damn…) Because he’s a patient, he tripped while running after her. The other patients watching were like, “Stop making noises!” Eunsung tells them, “Watch the damn movie!” (-> hot hot hot!> Yehwon takes a peep, Eunsung says, “It’s okay, come here.” Seeing that Eunsung got hurt because of her, she knew she’s dead so she closed the door again, Eunsung goes, “If I lay my hands you…” and runs after her again.
<In the novel, Eunsung was reading the Alibaba picture book and Yehwon just made fun of his IQ in her mind because he actually looked cute reading the picture book.>
31. Yehwon buys Eunsung cream cake but he doesn’t want to eat it because he loathes cream cakes. Yehwon goes, “Can you at least pretend that you like it.” The thoughtless person that he is, Eunsung says, “Why would I? Am I nuts?” He then shifts his attention to Yehwon’s phone and ridicules it, throws it away. He then says, “Use mine.” Yehwon was happy and asks, “What’s the PIN number?” Eunsung -> “YOUR BIRTHDAY.” (Aaah!! That was so cute!!)
<But this scene is also funnier in the novel because of Floppy. When Eunsung was saying that he doesn’t like cream cakes and doesn’t even ant to pretend he likes it, Floppy comes to the room and says, “Wow! Cream cake!” and was about to stab it when Eunsung yells, “Don’t eat it!!!!”
Floppy -> “Eunsung.. you don’t like whipped cream..”
Eunsung -> “But why are you eating it?!”
Floppy -> “...what do you want me to do with it??”
Eunsung -> “Just leave it there!!! If you touch it, you die!! If you want to get hit with my casted leg just smear the tiniest bit of that cream!!!”
Yehwon -> “Ji Eunsung.. If you leave the cake it’ll get mold all over it!! Just let Seungpyo eat it!”
Eunsung -> “Shut up.. It’s MY cake..”
Floppy -> “You’re not letting me eat it cause Y~~~~~~~~~~~ehwon bought it.!! HUH?!? HUH!??!?!”
Eunsung then tells him, “I told you not to come today.” Floppy says, “But I don’t have anywhere to go.” Eunsung tells him to go to the nurse and ask when he can leave. When he left, Eunsung tells Yehwon to lock the door. She was hesitating but she followed him anyway. Floppy comes running later, yelling that he can leave in Sunday, he was trying to get the door open but it wouldn’t. Ahh..Poor Floppy! Yehwon goes, “Sorry…Eunsung made me do it.”
In the phone exchange part, Eunsung actually confiscated Yehwon’s phone because he says she’s going to call that Yankee bastard again (-> Jungmin) so she says she’ll leave her phone but she’ll take his phone with her.>
32. Eunsung tells Yehwon to go home already, to go straight home and not go to disco like before. (Lol.) Yehwon’s like, “What do you care.” Eunsung tells her, “Han Yehwon, I freaking like you.” Yehwon smiled and left, after a few seconds she opened his room door again and said, “JI Eunsung, I freaking like you too.” Haha. She’s mocking him. HE goes, “I will kick your ass!” <In the novel, Eunsung told Yehwon to go home because girls need to be home before sun sets. Yehwon reminds him that one time they went home at 12mn, when they went to a bar. Eunsung tells her, “I didn’t like you back then.” Yehwon -> “So you like me now?” Nice one Yehwon!>
33. When Yehwon left, Eunsung tasted the cream cake but he doesn’t really like it, he spit it out immediately.
34. Remember they exchanged phones, she was taking a video of her room when she hears a voicemail beep. It was from Hyunsung telling Eunsung why he reacted that way when Yehwon kissed him in front of Hyobin. He was talking about Eunsung’s secret. Yehwon was like, “Hyunsung, can you tell me about that secret?” Hyunsung hesitated at first because Eunsung would kill him if he tells her but he told Yehwon anyway instead of hearing it from other people. (Other people aka Kim Hyobin and other biotches of the world.) Oh, there’s one part when Yehwon told Hyunsung, “You know I like you.” Haha. (Yehwon really like Hyunsung, it’s just not shown clearly in the movie.)
35. Hyunsung tells Yehwon about Eunsung’s secret – that his father died of AIDS, there was this incident when Eunsung was a kid that kind of traumatized him that’s why he doesn’t like touching people. In school, when kids have birthdays, they line up and the other kids would kiss the birthday boys and girls. (I was like, whoa! They kiss each other on the lips! Kelangan talaga don? Lol. Hmm..they’re kids pa naman…innocent or are they? Hehe.) Everything was going well when the boy didn’t kiss Eunsung. The teacher asked why he wouldn’t, he said because his mother told him Eunsung’s dad died from AIDS. <In the novel, it was a little girl named Jiyoung not a little boy.>
36. After hearing Eunsung’s story from Hyunsung, Yehwon calls Eunsung, she was crying, she says she just wants to hear his voice. Funny scene: Yehwon asks if he has eaten, he says he’s eating noodles. Yeah, he was eating noodles – RAW! Nginangasab niya yung noodles na hindi luto! Di ko kaya to.
37. Yehwon prepares kimbab for Eunsung because he’s only eating noodles and food in the hospital sucks. Her brother sneaks up behind her, startling her again. (Just like what happened with her mom before, she shouted, “Jesus Christ! Don’t sneak up on me!” This is kinda weird, in the novel, Yehwon would call for Buddha, not Jesus Christ. Hehe.) Seungpyo sees the kimbab…
Seungpyo -> Is that for me? (reaches for kimbab)
Yehwon -> Don’t touch it. (slaps Seungpyo’s hands)
Seungpyo -> Damn. (reaches for kimbab)
Yehwon -> Don’t! (slaps Seungpyo’s hands)
Seungpyo -> Let me have some.
Yehwon -> Stop it!
Seungpyo grabs 2 kimbabs fast and puts them in his mouth. (Freakin funny.)
Yehwon -> Go away, you gourmand! He’s such a pain!
Seungpyo goes away holding those 2 kimbabs in front of him. (It was funny, I tell you.)
38. Yehwon goes to Eunsung’s hospital to give him the kimbab but he’s not in so she waits for him. Hyobin and Wang Bitna come in and hecka mad at her. they start beating her up bad, kicking her here and there. Eunsung comes and was glaring at the 2 chicks. Wang Bitna says it was her who beat Yehwon up so Eunsung grabs her face and corners her to the window, he aims to punch her in the face, but he punched the glass window instead. (Freaking hot!) <In the novel, Hyunsung was the one who saw Bitna and Hyobin beating her up. Hyunsung sounds so hot in this scene, too bad, it wasn’t made that way in the movie. He even carried Yehwon on his back. When Eunsung found out later, he also beat Bitna up, hospitalizing her too.>
39. Yehwon is asleep in her bed, bruised and weak. Eunsung is poking her face. (Effin cute!)
Eunsung -> Hey! Yehwon? Hey! Hey! Can you hear me? (still poking her face until she wakes up) They beat you good, didn’t they?
Yehwon -> Not really.
Eunsung -> Don’t lie to me! Why didn’t you scream when you were beaten? I can’t believe what a fool you are!
Yehwon -> Eunsung, I have something to tell you, don’t interrupt me or leave. (holds up her pinky) Promise me.
Eunsung -> I never make promises.
But Yehwon is insisting him to “pinky promise” her, Eunsung gives in.
Yehwon -> Yesterday, Hyunsung told me everything. He didn’t wanna tell me but I insisted.
Eunsung -> What? That my dad died from fcuking AIDS?
Yehwon -> Watch your mouth.
Eunsung -> I can’t keep that promise. (stands up to leave)
Yehwon -> If you leave like that, I wont ever see you again. Why do you always take off?
Eunsung -> You will leave me now.
Yehwon -> Ji Eunsung!
Eunsung -> Don’t you know what AIDS is? I might have HIV virus in my blood, okay?
Yehwon -> (grabs his arm) Don’t leave me for that. Even if you were HIV positive, I would never leave you, so don’t leave me.
Eunsung -> Yehwon, you’re so funny.
Yehwon -> Will you hold me?
<In the novel, they even talked about having or actually, not having kids. Funny. Then it was Eunsung who said, “Yehwon, I can hug you right?” Ahh..so cute.>
Yehwon gets up and hugs him.
Yehwon -> Eunsung, you smell…like a baby.
Eunsung smiles and starts smelling her hair. It smells awful.
Eunsung -> Yehwon, your hair smells real bad!
Yehwon -> Hey!
Eunsung -> When’d you wash it?
(Lol. Their moment was ruined. In the novel, Hyunsung comes to talk to Eunsung, he says, “Wash your hair before I come back.” Haha. Plus the next time they were seeing each other again, Yehwon remembers her hair and washes it in the school CR, when it dried, she described her hair as hard as a plywood. Hahaha.>
40. They hear a knock on the door and Eunsung lets go off Yehwon fast. (Lol. Nabagok pa yung ulo ni Yehwon sa bed, she’s a goddamn patient, Eunsung!) Yehwon’s family – Mom, Dad and bro Seungpyo came. Yehwon introduces Eunsung as her friend. Her dad picked up fast and says, “oh I see. You’re my princess’ boyfriend?” He grasps Eunsung’s hand to shake it but as expected, Eunsung took his hands away and left immediately. Seunpyo was like, “You bastard, no fcuking manners.” Dad’s reaction -> “He’s manly.” Yehwon goes, “isn’t he cool?” Mom’s reaction -> “This is what happens when you hang out with a jerk like him!” <So different from the novel, Yehwon’s family actually were in Yehwon’s room first. Seungpyo went out and bumped into Eunsung. He bowed to him, which actually puzzled Yehwon. Seungpyo is actually Eunsung’s senior, Seungpyo went to Eunsung’s school. Crazy Yehwon doesn’t even realize that until later. So Seungpyo and Eunsung know each other unlike in the movie. Then her mom wasn’t actually mad at Eunsung, she and Yehwon’s dad actually thanked him for putting Bitna aka the girl who made Yehwon like that in the hospital too.>
41. That night, Yehwon and Eunsung are talking on the phone.
Yehwon -> What’s wrong with your voice? Did you cry?
Eunsung -> I’m a man. I never cry.
Yehwon -> Don’t lie. I know you cried.
Eunsung -> I miss her.
Yehwon -> I miss you too.
Eunsung -> Not you, my mom. (aaskaolfdlf. Freaken embarrassing.)
Yehwon -> Should I come over?
Eunsung -> Don’t. I’ll lock the door if you do.
Yehwon -> Eunsung, I hope you open your heart to me. I’m coming, okay.
<I dunno why it’s his mom, in the novel, his mom is still alive with a new family, he has half-siblings, the one he misses is his dad, not his mom.>
Eunsung continue stalking while Yehwon stands up getting ready to go to Eunsung’s room.
Eunsung -> Are you listening?
Yehwon -> (already at the door, gah, she looks so funny) Eunsung, I’m here.
Eunsung -> Where?
Yehwon -> Here.
Eunsung -> Where? (looks side ways and sees Yehwon, he’s freaken shocked.) What are you doing here?
Eunsung goes to Yehwon at the door. Yehwon says Hansung opah asked her to give him the basket of roses. Eunsung was like, “Who?” Yehwon -> “Hansung oppah.” Eunsung -> “Kim Hansung!” (Meaning, he doesn’t like her calling him “oppah”.) Eunsung -> “Don’t mention him.” Yehwon -> “Why do you hate him so much?” Yehwon was about to leave when Eunsung suddenly hugs her and tells her to stay over tonight. (Sweet.) <In the novel, I think the Hansung oppah issue happened later. So when Eunsung opened the door for Yehwon, he was like, “You crawled here, didn’t you? Retard. What do I do? I can’t hit you.” He just hugged her super tight and Yehwon goes, “Let go, it hurts.” Eunsung -> “It’s your punishment. Be quiet.” They hugged for like an hour. So cute.>
So Yehwon stayed over. Eunsung slept on the bed and Yehwon on the couch but in the morning, Eunsung was the one in the couch and Yehwon on the bed.
Yehwon V.O. -> “We spent our first night together. But he left the hospital without telling me. How could he do that? He’s so bad.”
<In the novel, they were arguing first who should take the bed. Eunsung tells Yehwon that she sleep on it because he’s a man. Yehwon tells him that it’s his room so he sleep on the bed. Eunsung says OK. In Yehwon’s mind -> What kind of person are you? You’re supposed to give me the bed no matter what! When she woke up, she was on the bed. Yehwon was like. “Eunsung, sleep on the bed.” Eunsung -> “...if you bother me while I’m sleeping I’m going to hit you...” Then the nurse came (there’s a funny nurse in the hospital, too bad she wasn’t included in the movie) shocked that she’s in Eunsung’s room. She tells Yehwon that her family is in her room already frantically looking for her. They ask, “Where were you?” Yehwon -> “Over there somewhere.” Nurse -> “In Ji Eunsung’s room.” Haha. That big-mouthed nurse. Her brother goes, “Are you going out with Ji Eunsung? I don’t like him.” Gah, it’s long. Her brother owuldnt leave her room so she threatened that Kyungwon’s going to come. Kyungwon used to have a crush on him so he avoided her. Seungoyo left because of Yehwon’s mentioning Kyungwon.>
42. Yehwon’s coming out of the hospital, she’s being escorted by Kyungwon and Jungmin. Hyunsung and Floppy arrives and the latter says hi to Kyungwon who he hasn’t seen in a while. He was wearing a scarf that was given by Kyungwon, (I wanna have a scarf like that, so pretty, anyways, back to my point, he has worn this before, at the pool hall, and Kyungwon has the same scarf too, during the scene when Ji Eunsung first called Yehwon, actually she wears that scarf most of the time. Wow, I remember it so well!) then Jungmin comes wearing a same scarf. Floppy goes, “Isn’t that the same scarf as mine?” Kyungwon hides her face behind Yehwon. Hyunsung picks up quick and tells Floppy that he’ll treat him to a video game and he’ll let him win so they have to go now. (haha.) <This isn’t in the novel, but the point is to show that Kyungwon is two-timing Floppy and Jungmin. Aww, poor Floppy! What’s funny is that Yehwon’s actually siding with Floppy than Kyungwon, Yehwon has grown to be close with Floppy.>
43. Yehwon decides to go to Eunsung’s school and surprise him, this is Kyungwon’s advice to her. She goes to buy two rabbits and named them Yehwon and Eunsung, Yehwon will keep rabbit Eunsung while Eunsung will keep rabbit Yehwon. (The rabbit seller looks freakin funny. He looks like a rabbit himself. Lol.) After choosing her sexy outfit with the help of Kyungwon, she goes to Eunsung’s school, they were having some ceremony in the parking lot and their backs are facing Yehwon. She sees Eunsung and calls him but her cell phone falls inside the fence. To get it, she inserts her head in an open slit but her heads gets stuck! Just as her bad luck has it, the principal tells the students, “Everyone, face backward.” (Haha. This is freakin embarrassing.) <In the novel, it was actually Yehwon who advised that to Kyungwon when she was having problems with Floppy, but Kyungwon wasn’t able to do it, so Yehwon took her own advice. It’s different in the novel because she borrowed clothes from Kyungwon (asked her to bring her sister’s clothes house to her house) first and on her way to Eunsung’s school the following morning, she bought the rabbits.>
The students see Yehwon stuck and start laughing. Eunsung sees her, not believing at first and shouts, “Eyes down!!”, everyone bow their heads. (Whew, that’s hot!) He walks forward to Yehwon but not before saying, “If I catch anyone peeking…” <In the novel, it was her finger that got stuck because she saw Eunsung and pointed at him and it wouldn’t come off. Gah, they made it worse in the movie! Funnier though. Soooo embarrassing. I’ll die if this happens to me, the closest thing that ever happened to me is landing on my butt in front of my crush in Grade 5. Why am I reminiscing? Back to business now. Oh, I almost forgot, SSH is so HOT in the 1st pic, isn’t he??? Holay molay!!!>
Eunsung -> What the hell are you doing?
Yehwon -> Eunsung, you keep the female and I keep the… (she says this with her head still stuck. Hahaha..)
Eunsung -> You’re embarrassing me! (sees her outfit) What the hell do you have on? What are you, a zebra? (HAHAHAHAHA!!! sees the rabbits) What’s that? A fcuking dog?
Yehwon -> A rabbit.
Eunsung -> A rabbit?
Floppy comes with pincers (pincers? That’s not a fcuking pincer! It’s kinda like the huge scissors used for cutting grass. These translations…) and tells them he’ll decoy the teacher. (Woohoo…Floppy to the rescue!!!) He says before leaving -> “Do whatever you’re doing. And I got the names who were peeking.” (Haha..Freakin cute.)
Eunsung -> (to the students again) Keep your eyes down! Move aside. (starts cutting the wire using the “pincers” but obviously pissed) I cant believe this is happening. Why’d you put your head in there?
The teacher sees them but Floppy is trying hard to stop him. Teacher -> “Eunsung, what’s that? Called a hooker to school?”
Eunsung -> Go now.
Yehwon -> Like this? (she means with the “cut” wires around her neck, she looks damn funny)
Eunsung -> God! Yes, like that!
<In the novel, it was funnier, because of Yehwon’s narration. She’s like, “Dear Lord, I’ll never make fun of people again..blah blah…” When Eunsung neared her, with her eyes closed, she goes, “No, I’m not Han Yehwon, you’ve mistaken me for someone else. Eunsung didn’t actually ridiculed her outfit, he thought she’s actually pretty, he was just mad because her dress is too short. He even threw his upper jacket to her to cover her legs. That’s so cute. She looked actually pretty and some kids complimented her, Eunsung then told them “Close your eyes, if I see the whites in your eyes, you’ll get a beating!” Then the teacher came, pulling Eunsung’s cheek and brags that the girl with her finger stuck on the hole is his wife. (Why do Korean kids call their girlfriends wife? It’s like when they get a girlfriend, they think of marriage immediately.) This teacher actually helped Yehwon to get her finger out using a soap, Yehwon even got inside the school because of the nice teacher. When Yehwon gave him the bunnies, that’s only when Eunsung asked, “What is this, a dog?” Because the male students keep on staring at Yehwon, Eunsung’s like, “Cover your damn legs!! Let’s go.” He’s skipping class so when Eunsung went away for a while, she ran so he wouldn’t skip school.>
44. Yehwon goes straight to a noraebang (karaoke. Why do all movies have scenes in noraebang?) She’s singing her lungs out because she’s mad. (Gah, her song is about super sized noodles and heartening soup, what kind of song is that?) Eunsung comes and hears her singing, err, shouting the lyrics. Yehwon felt embarrassed that Eunsung heard her bad singing. (Is it just me or SSH really looks bangag here? But still cute anyhow.) Yehwon askes him to sing because she’s embarrassed. He gets the mic from her and hit his head with head, he goes, “Have you ever been hit? It hurts.” and hits Yehwon. Eunsung also sings, bad, but Yehwon adores him. (I wouldn’t stay one second in that room with him singing like that. Or…I’ll put something, cork or whatever in my ears and just gaze at him all day. Haha.) <In the novel, Eunsung kept on calling Yehwon because she ran away from him, but Yehwon wouldn’t answer, then he came and hit him in the head because she wouldn’t answer his calls. He also bought Yehwon a Mickey Mouse band-aid to stick to her swollen finger. How cute. Eunsung picked a rap song by DJ DOC.>
45. They went to the park (?) where the red phone booth is, Eunsung is drawing a portrait of a young girl when Yehwon arrives with drinks and asks who that is, Eunsung answers, “My girlfriend.” Yehwon -> “but she looks so young.” Eunsung changes the topic and says, “Which is mine?” (-> of the rabbits) Yehwon -> “The brown one is the female, her name’s Yehwon.” Eunsung -> “She’s too ugly.” So he picks the white one, rabbit Eunsung, it’s funny when he was wiping it in his face. (Now, I would love to be a rabbit!) <In the novel, Yehwon gave him the rabbit in school so when they went to the noraebang, Eunsung’s rabbit was left to Floppy while Yehwon’s was in the noraebang. They were white and gray rabbits, not white and brown in the movie. They then went back to Eunsung’s school to get back the bunny from Floppy and there, Yehwon sees Hansung for the first time, with Hyobin, she thought he looked like Eunsung. She described him as “sexy”. Floppy greeted him “sunbae” and he grinned at Yehwon. She doesn’t know why but she’ll find out later, she doesn’t know him but he knows her.>
Yehwon sees the red phone booth (where she was kidnapped by yucky Mr. Killer Smile)
Yehwon -> Let me tell you, I was so scared back then.
Eunsung -> Yeah? Should I destroy that phone booth? (stands up to go to the phone booth) I will right be right back.
Yehwon -> (stops Eunsung) No!
Eunsung -> No. Let me destroy it.
Yehwon -> It’s okay.
Eunsung -> No, no, makes me feel so bad. (insists to go to the phone booth)
Yehwon -> It’s okay, Eunsung.
Eunsung -> Are you sure?
Yehwon -> Yes.
Eunsung -> Let me know anytime, it wont take a second.
Yehwon -> I just don’t like it here, many bad things happened.
Eunsung -> We can meet here…
Yehwon -> (gets excited and grabs Eunsung’s arm) Really?
Eunsung -> (jolts) You scared me! What’s all the fuss? Damn.
Yehwon -> Frankly, I had this dream.
Eunsung -> What dream?
Yehwon -> Listen, I have this dream about the first snowfall. In a beautiful park, (the park turns into a green flowery pretty forest) the first snow of the year comes. On the hill stands a castle where I live…
Eunsung -> A castle? What are you a princess? (You can only hear their voices here)
Yehwon -> I’m not done! There’s this man who loves me, waiting for me, dressed in black…and I watch him blindly…so romantic isn’t it? (back to present, out of fantasy world) and…this man…you know what he says to me?
Yehwon says this dreamingly and turns to Eunsung, who was turned back at her, counting…
Eunsung -> So many motels here! Motel Royal, Motel Pink… (Haha…what a rude kid!)
