I’m super happy!!!! I’ve already seen “Temptation of the Wolf”!!!! And I’m halfway watching “Full House”!!!

 

I had a TV marathon last Saturday. I finished all things need to be done by Friday so I could watch “Full House” (Thanks to Ate Ryza!) and “Temptation of the Wolf” (Thanks to Dee!) during the weekend. I started my marathon at 3pm because I woke up at noon and I had to wait for my younger brother to get out of the couch and stop watching TV. I started with Full House because I actually wanted to save “Temptation of the Wolf” last. I was really enjoying “Full House” but then in the middle of Episode 4, I couldn’t take it anymore so I inserted the “…Wolves” DVD. I’m so freakin’ excited. I’ve waited for 4 months to see this movie! (I started to get crazy over this movie kase in the beginning of September, I think.)

 

Here’s my take on it. I posted it on the movie’s thread on Tsinoy, I’ll translate it to English later on as this is in Taglish (err, both in English and Tagalog.)

Yung gif pala sa sig ko eh yung simula. Wala yun sa novel -> that hankyung got stuck in the middle of haewon and taesung’s high school war and she went to her mom’s house with her hair disheveled.

 

Grabe, simula pa lang, gusto ko na siya! Yung pinapakita yung face nina haewon at taesung, tapos may pinapakitang wolf at may sound ng ungol ng wolf. (yikes, pati ba naman yun pinapansin ko?) Dun palang, I knew that the cinematography would be great.

 

The movie is a lot different from the novel. It’s a movie on its own, hindi parang movie na based sa isang novel. (does that make sense? I don’t know how to put it eh.) So madaming inibang scenes at dinagdag. Like

> they changed US to Australia (where Hankyung and Taesung’s grandma lives)

> Dareum’s room wasn’t all pink (pati talaga yun? Naalala ko lang kase eh)

> the first time Taesung and Hankyung met, in the novel, they actually met sa isang PC bang when Hankyung was hiding from Dareum kase nga ipapakilala siya kay Haewon. Pero sa movie, dinagdag nila yung rain scene tapos pinagsama-sama na nila lahat, dun na rin nakilala si haewon etc, yung “she’s gonna be my girl” tapos Taesung ran with Hankyung. (oops, tama nga kayo, maganda yung scene na yun.)

> basta marame…(hala tinamad na ko.)

 

They shortened the beginning part of the story to pay more attention dun sa mga bandang huling scenes. So maraming di sinama. Actually, si Wun nga eh may crush pa kay Hankyung nung una tapos super hate ni Hankyung si Haewon. KAse and bad talaga ni Haewon.

 

Scenes:

> piggyback scene -> Hankyung kept calling haewon – daehan. haewon -> “I told you, it’s haewon!” and “do you think wishing on the roof actually works?” (ang rude niya talaga.) tapos he dropped her when she blew her nose on his scarf. Lol.

> when Taesung went to hankyung’s school and the girls were like, “please smash me up.” “ me too.” “me too.” haha. (I don’t remember Taesung going to hankyung’s school in the novel though. But I can be wrong kase, I realized medyo limot ko na yung novel kase minsan di ko maisip what’s going to happen to next.)

> when haewon was going to beat up Taesung, but Hankyung stopped him from doing it. haewon’s reaction…my poor haewon…pero ang jjang niya dun!

> PHONE BOOTH SCENE!!! I super duper love that scene!! “don’t smile in front of me…don’t talk in front of me…don’t stand in front of me…don’t let me see you…fck, what do I do? I think I like you…” AHHH!!! So muhshesuh! I was gritting my pencil when Haewon grabbed Hankyung’s arm! Tapos what happened after that when he gave her time to think until they get to her home or else they’re driving to the east coast (pacific ocean sa novel, ganun na rin yun)…lol..5 mnutes lang dun? 20 mins sa novel ata…ang kulit kulit ni haewon – 4 mins 18 seconds…4 mins 15 seconds…haha…tapos 5,4, 3, 2,1 he unlocked the car door. (sus, I would say yes in a heartbeat!) tapos he gave her cellphone and said, “miss my SMS,ill kill you. Miss my calls, you’re dead.”

> when Hankyung was thinking about Haewon’s JAWLINE! Wahaha!!! He’s jawline is a killer!

> when Haewon helped Taesung when he was getting beat up by those ugly ahjushis (hala, nilagyan ng s ang ahjushi para maging plural?) ginawa nilang si Haewon ang nag-volunteer to help him, sa novel, Hankyung asked Haewon to do it. ahh, pitiful talaga si haewon nung di siya binalikan ni Hankyung with his face black and blue.

> when Hankyung went to haewon’s house and asked if he’s mad at her. haewon -> “I see you and all I can do is smile.” Tapos he was trying to kiss Hankyung but her phone rang. Haha. it was Taesung pa. nakakagulat talaga si haewon, bigla na lang ini-near yung face niya…pati ako nabibigla eh.

> when the 3 of them are drinking soju tapos nag-iinisan si haewon at Taesung na si haewon daw is adored by ahjumas at si Taesung naman is adored by sunbaes, pero guys. Haha. tapos Taesung asked Hankyung to choose between him and haewon, haewon said not to say anything. Taesung said “are you afraid she’s going to say my name? she made me porridge.” Tapos haewon left, Hankyung ran after him. haewon asked what she’s doing outside, Hankyung answers, “ I came to grab you.” Tapos she lost her shoe, haewon found it for her tapos siya pa yung nagsuot.

> when haewon was going to meet with jaehee, tapos sabi ni Hankyung she’s going to meet Taesung. Haewon -> “you still talk to that bastard? give me back my phone.” Hankyung -> “maelong~~~!” sabay pasok sa boys cr! wahaha…paglabas niya she was fanning herself, andun pa si haewon, pinagtatawanan siya, pero di niya alam.

> GO AND CHANGE SCENE – haewon -> “dress like this only for me.” I so swear, Korean boys are very possessive. Tapos the ahjushi who was harassing Hankyung sa cr, pero nung 2nd time, haewon PUk! that guy. Hankyung was crying and haewon was saying sorry, “should I die right here?” tapos she told him that she just wanna look good beside jaehee. Haewon told everyone, “watch closely” AND THEN THE BIGGEST TORTURE OF MY LIFE HAPPENED. joke. Actually inulit-ulit ko pa yung kiss na yun. That kiss was freakin long! I timed it the 2nd time, IT LASTED FOR 40 SECONDS! Sahfjdhgdjklghdf…LEE CHUNG AH IS A LUCKY GIRL! Actually, sa novel, 2nd kiss nila yun. Yung 1st eh yun yung naging 2nd nila outside taesung’s house, sa novel, sa hospital parking lot naman pero nakita talaga ni Taesung and he turned off the lights. Yung 2nd kiss sa movie lasted for 10 seconds. I liked it when slowly nag-part yung faces nila. Di nila sinama yung nag-away pa sila kase naalala ni Hankyung na nakita niya si HAewon kissing a girl s bathroom nil, pero wla nga yun sa strat so obviously di talaga siya isasama, pero ang cute kase nun. ACK! JO HANSUN IS SUCH A GOOD KISSER! Parang kung ikaw yung leading lady niya, wag ka na gumalaw kase parang he’s going to do all the work na. basta basta akbayan ka lang niya, or touch yung face or kahit i–poke niya yng forehead ni Hankyung, iba na yung dating ni jo hansun. ok stop. Enough about those kisses. Nakakasama ng loob.

> when Hankyung want haewon and Taesung to shake hands but they wouldn’t, Hankyung threatened to leave. Taseung -> “no,,,I’ll shake. I’ll shake.” Cute cute!

> TAESUNG’S CONFESSION – yung “do you suffer when I suffer? … do you not like it when I smile at other girls?...do you curse whover made us meet under these circumstances?...everyday I curse the heavens…because I love jung Hankyung…” this is super kaiyak when I read the novel, pero di ako naiyak sa novel, masyado akong overwhelmed kay jo hansun, I cant even bring myself to cry. Hehe.

> when Hankyung and haewon were eating pizza and Hankyung is jealous but she wouldn’t admit. Eh ang kulit ni haewon -> “are you jealous right now? Are you? Are you?” tapos Taesung called Hankyung -> “do you have to always freakin get in the way every time we date?” hahaha…haewon, you’re too cute!

> when Hankyung was crying and when she got home, haewon was waiting for her tapos pinapagalitan na naman siya ni haewon tapos bigla na lang ni-bury ni Hankyung yung head niya sa chest ni haewon. Haewon -> “don’t cry. It’s just that you didn’t answer your phone. Im sorry.” (pasensya na at big deal talaga kay haewon ang phone!)

> THE BIKE SCENES!! Super hot with their goggles on and their hair being blown by the wind. (do I sound crazy?)

> THE FIGHT SCENES!! Grabe, ang galing nina jo hansun and kang dong won, sila talaga yun…grabe grabe, tapos not too much on punchin, more on kicking, yung ki-kick muna sa wall tapos dun sa ahjushis…team up pala sila dito…kala ko kase before, sila yung magkalaban…5 days daw yan shinoot…pero 5 minutes lang sa movie, im not sure kase I didn’t time it…nag-focus ako kase I love watching fight scenes. I think mga 2 minutes though yung nasa labas na sila tapos umuulan. Yung rain added more effect. Ganda. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO LOOK FREAKIN HOT EVEN WHEN THEY’RE SO DIRTY AND HAVE CUTLIPS?

> after the fight scene, when they were talking na parang hinahabilin na ni Taesung si Hankyung kay Haewon. Yung last niyang sinabi, “…and call her nuna.” Haewon -> “that might be a problem.” Haha.

 

Sobrang iniba na yung malapit sa ending. Yung sinabi ni Taesung na “Nuna, in our next life, dont be born as my nuna. I don’t care if you’re ugly, just don’t be my nuna….” (I forgot the exact words) I would still insist na dapat they made it the Guiyeoni way, sana ginawa nila yung sa videotape, kase sobrang nakakaiyak talaga yun. Wala pa yung pinky promise. At ang kulit ni haewon dun kase pipigilan pa talaga! Tapos tinawagan nila si taesung, nasa US na siya. Ginawa nila sa movie na sinabi na lang ni Taesung yun sa airport tapos haewon and Hankyung watched the plane na lang dun sa field. Pero I liked the part na haewon’s bike was being chased by the police cars, hehe.

 

They added yung side story na “THE LAST GIFT”, may na-meet si Taesung na blind korean girl tapos he gave his eyes to her tapos bumalik yung girl sa Korea to see Hankyung. Di ko pa naman binasa ng maayos tong side story na to. kase gusto ko na yung ending ni Guiyeoni eh, na hindi talaga nalaman ni Hankyung that Taesung died. What happened was, Hankyung, DAreum, raccoon kid Jooho and Haewon visited dad’s grave tapos they saw a grave next to it. Di nila alam why but they started crying when they saw it. Di nila alam na nag dahilan ay si Taesung kase yung nakalibing dun. Kaya I refused to read side stories.

 

Anyways, ang kulit ni haewon nung kausap nila sa phone si Taesung! Ang kulit grabe, di ko kaya. Yung sinabi ni Taesung na, “Bahn Haewon sings?” Mwahahaha…tapos sabi niya pa not to hurt nuna or else he’ll fly over and kick haewon’s ass. Haewon -> “I’m hitting her, come over.” Tapos nagtanong pa, “Are there many pretty girls there?” Hankyung -> “You have a girlfriend!” Sabay cover ng face ni Haewon. That’s so cute. I’m so jealous. >.<

 

Talaga naman yung last scene ni Taesung, “I’m Taesung” … “Duh, of course, she knows it’s you.” … ulit…talk talk talk…naubusan ng battery and videocam… “Nothing I do is right.” In fairness, I have that song that was being played sa ending pero binura ko na sa PC ko…kainis. Hai, im sure may mada-downloadan naman nyan.

 

OK…im disappointed lang na they didn’t include one of my super fave scenes sa novel, pero kase it wouldn’t make sense naman if sinama nila sa  movie. Basta when Hankyung was supposed to go back to Gongju…Hankyung and her mom are paalis na ng school when the sophomores barricaded the gate. Mom was furious and was asking who’s behind it. One sophomore answered, “he’s behind you.” Who else but freakin hot Bahn Haewon. He’s like, “don’t send Hankyung away, if ur sending someone away, it should be Han Dareum.” Lol. Tapos nag-usap sila ni hNAkyung for the last time na if she cane be in Ahn Yang, si Haewon yung ta-transfer sa Gongju. Tapos nagkiss sila, tapos dumating na naman yung PE teacher. Lol. Humirit pa si haewon ng, “Cmon, it’s her last year, can you just let me go?” BAsta this scene is one of the funniest kaya sayang.

 

The casting was great. Jo hansun, kang dong won and lee chung ah are perfect to play bahn haewon, jung taesung and jung hankyung. Jo Hansun is so funny as the ever jealous boyfriend who gets crazy whenever Hankyung wouldn’t answer her phone. He has the funniest lines ever. (Oops, halatang-halata…BIASED!) Kang Dong-won is so good at his crying scenes, like when he was crying and just pretended to be asleep. I like Lee Chung-ah because she played the role well, surprisingly I don’t hate her because she got to kiss Jo Hansun 100 times, I’m just dying with envy.

 

Other cast comments:

> Baket parang mabait yung mom ni Hankyung dito sa movie?

> Daehan wasn’t gwapo, I like him pa naman sa novel.

> pinag-isa yung character ni jaehee at haejung ( I checked her name pa kase nakalimutan ko na talaga, basta siya yung classmate ni haewon na may gusto sa kanya), naging si jaehee na lang…

>nakakainis talaga si Bojung! She hugged Haewon pa! Ack! Ill give that girl more than a black eye!

> Wala yung brother ni Haewon na may Nazi sign sa forehead.Lol. Gusto ko kase when he and Haewon beat Bohee and JAehee up. Hahaha.

> wala din yung makulit na PE teacher na laging epal sa moments nina Haewon at Hankyung, nakakatawa kase yun.

 

If Guiyeoni’s last 2 novels are going to be turned into a movie, sana it’s under the same production as “Temptation of the Wolf”’s, kase ok sila gumawa. In fairness, the movie might not be as good as the novel kase syempre ang daming hindi sinamang scenes kase baka maging teleserye na to pag nagkataon, but I think this movie is close naman. And ewan, parang di ko lang ma-compare. Parang iba nga kase siya, basta ewan I liked this movie. Period.

 

On “Full House” SO FAR…

 

As of this time, I stopped at Episode 8.

 

I say this series is a cross between “Sweet 18” <because of Song Hye-kyo’s character – Ji-eun’s similarity to Han Ji-hye’s Jung-sook, the contract marriage, the relationship between Ji-eun and Young-jae’s (Bi’s character) grandmother, just like Jung-sook and Hyuk-joon’s (Lee Dong-gun in Sweet 18) grandfather in Andong> and “Attic Cat” <because of the cohabitation issue, Young-jae being similar to Kyung-min (Kim Rae-won in Attic Cat) and the whole love quadrangle thing where the leading man likes the bitch who likes the other guy who likes the leading lady. The other guy is also older than the other 3 main characters like Dong-jun (Lee Hyun-woo in Attic Cat)>

 

I really really like Song Hye-kyo here!! I didn’t think she could do something like this! She’s good at comedy! This girl is sooo pretty! She looks good with whatever style. Sexy, cute, even in her cleaning clothes! Speaking of clothes, I like her clothes! I like the colors, very bright. I also like her hairdos. It fits her. She really is my favorite right now.

 

This series is such an eyecandy mainly because Bi is always taking his friggin clothes off!!  A lot of chest showing is going on! Not that I’m complaining. I don’t like his character though, he reminds me so much of Kyung-min. He’s such an ass! But he can actually be cute sometimes, but more often hateful!!! Nakakaubos soya ng energy! I couldn’t live with a guy like him! I wouldn’t want to have who-has-a-louder-voice-contest with him every single day! I hate him even more when he’s always stopping Ji-eun from buying Mun-hyuk that freaking spaghetti!! Lol. For me, he’s the guy knontrabida here, hehe, when he’s supposed to be the leading man, haha. I like Rain but not his character here.

 

So obviously, I like the other guy – Min-hyuk (played by Kim Seung-soo, in fairness, I already like him even before I found out he’s in this series too) more. Gawd, this guy is hecka H.O.T. I so want him to stop smiling already because I feel like I’m going to die any second! He and SHK are so bagay! I so want them to end up together but I know that’s not going to happen. This reminds me of the movie “My Little Bride” because I wanted Bo-eun and Jung-woo to end up together there. Anyways, I’m screaming for MORE MIN-HYUK SCENES!!! But this is freakin depressing. I so swear, all my hopes went down the drain when my friend told me that he’s married. WTF? No freakin way!

 

The other girl, Hye-won, who’s just starting to bitch is Han Eun-jung. She was Nadine in “Bright Girl”. Err, I dunno the character’s Korean name. Man, this girl is so sexy. I’m getting sick of her im-gonna-show my-colored-bra style though. But she’s pretty stylish. At least they got a girl who can compete with SHK’s beauty, but of course, SHK is prettier for me. I get bored with her scenes with Young-jae. Those are the fast-forward scenes for me.

 

OST -> I like the song with the line, “I think I love you……cause I miss you…” I’m going to bother about the SOT once I’m finished watching. Oh and the Three bear song! Hahaha…

 

 

Looking forward to watching Episode 9…my friend said, KSS’s shower scene is coming…Haha…
