in the mood for "THE CLASSIC"...

let's start with the characters...

Probably the most favorite scene is the rain scene. Who wouldn’t like this scene. It was so sweet and the background music was perfect.

My other favorite is the art gallery scene. I just liked the idea that ji-hae and sang-min were in different sides. Paintings and sculptures passing in the space between them while they took glances of each other.

When I watched this film, I felt a mix of emotions. It made me laugh, cry and managed to tug at my heartstring. But the best part of the entire movie happened during the last 30 minutes of it.

I started crying during the train scene where joo-hee (with tae-soo) was saying goodbye to joon-ha who was leaving to participate in the war. Joon-ha was hiding at first but still, joo-hee spotted him. She was telling him that he has to come back alive. Before the train left, joo-hee was able to give her necklace to joon-ha.

During the war, joon-ha was about escape with the other soldiers when he noticed that he doesn’t have the necklace, so he came back and risked his life just to get it. Unfortunately, a bomb exploded near him.

But he didn’t die…a few years later, joon-ha and joo-hee met. Joon-ha told joo-hee that he got married. During their conversation, joo-hee noticed that joon-ha was actually blind but joon-ha hid this from her (but she found out anyways). Joon-ha wanted to return her the necklace but joo-hee refused and said the necklace is his.

A few years later (again), joo-hee was at the river with her daughter, she was informed that joon-ha died and his last wish was for her to spread his ash to the river. Turns out, he married right after she did and had a son. He lied so that joo-hee could move on with her life without him.

after ji-hae finished telling sang-min the story, the latter was crying. He then took out the necklace…he’s joon-ha’s son! They then reenact the things joon-ha and joo-hee did before (catching a firefly etc.) and they kissed! Lucky son ye-jin!

i also saw this movie and i felt all emotions that a person feels(hehe) naiyak ako jan,natawa,sumama sa aksyon at aba may cningit pa clang konting scary jan diba?
