EPISODE 1

u Song-ju and Jung-suh’s happy moments prior to b*tch-landing. J - Song-ju’s playing the piano, teaching Jung-suh how to do magic and throw a boomerang, their playing in the mud, piggyback rides and Song-ju telling Jung-suh to always smile.

u Jung-suh is leaving their house by the beach to live in their new house together with her father’s new wife. She’s recording when Song-ju walks towards her and asks what she’s doing. She tells him that she’s recording the sound of the sea. Song-ju takes the recorder from her and begins recording  the sound his making. Jung-suh’s puzzled so she asks him what he’s doing. Song-ju tells her that he’s making sounds of seagulls because the ocean wouldn’t be complete without it. Jung-suh smiles, Song-ju tells her, “That’s it Jung-suh, you should smile like that.” (-> remember this line.)

u Tae Mira’s (Jung-suh’s new stepmother) 2 children are living in their house too. She introduces them to Jung-suh. Jung-suh extends her hand to shake Taehwa’s. Taehwa ignores it, Yuri tells her that her brother doesnt shake hands with girls. Jung-suh responds, “I’m no girl, I’m a sister.” and proceeds on shaking Taehwa’s hands. Taehwa pulls his hand back abruptly.

u Jung-suh wakes up in the middle of the night because of loud snoring. She’s surprised to see Taehwa inside the room she shares with Yuri, sleeping beside his sister, holding hands. (They’re really close when they were younger, why did this Yuri turn out so bitchy when she grew up? Tae Mira is the root of all evil. -_-)

u After class, Yuri and her new friends see Song-ju and they start checking him out. To Yuri’s disgust, the boy of her dreams is Jung-suh’s childhood friend. When Song-ju saw Jung-suh, he wipes her face (which got wet from rain) and even shares an umbrella with her. Loser Yuri goes, “Friends, are you still up for that pizza and kitchen?” and walks away. (Hahahaha..)

u Song-ju and Jung-suh go for a bike ride with Song-ju driving and Jung-suh hugging him at the back. At one point, they both let go and extend their hands to the side. They bump into a tree and falls to the ground. (Did you kids really think that wouldn’t happen? >.<)

u So they both fall to the ground, Song-ju landing on top of Jung-suh. (Don’t start thinking anything pervy!) Song-ju stares at Jung-suh’s face and starts nearing his face to hers. Jung-suh shuts her eyes while their faces continue to near each other. With their faces, only a few cms apart, Jung-suh opens her eyes, Song-ju lifts his head and smiles to Jung-suh. He gets up and extends his hand to pull Jung-suh up. Jung-suh claps his hand and lies still. Song-ju goes, “Okay, just lie there.” Jung-suh motions him to pull her up so he did. (Love this scene!)

u When they’re both on their feet, Song-ju grabs Jung-suh’s face as if trying to kiss her. But then he looks down and says, “When did you start wearing a bra?” and attempts to touch her chest. Jung-suh slaps his hands away. Song-ju continues, “Han Jung-suh, I’ve seen you get your diapers changed.” He attempts to life Jung-suh’s skirt but Jung-suh runs away. Song-ju continues, “You have a birthmark on your chest too. Let’s see if it has gotten bigger.” Jung-suh keeps running away from him yelling, “Oppah, stop it!” while Song-ju goes to wherever she runs too. (They’re so cute.) Jung-suh sits on the ground with her hands crossed in front of her. Song-ju sits behind her, hugs her and turns her to face him. He kisses the side of her forehead. (Ack…sweet!!)

u Song-ju brings Jung-suh home. Before getting off, they exchange presents. Jung-suh gives Song-ju a red bonnet she knitted herself. He wears it at once. Song-ju asks about Jung-auh’s new life, about her stepmother because according to him, “In fairytales, stepmother’s are mean.” (What a cute kid! See his facial expression while saying that!) After walking Jung-suh to their gate, he asks his driver-bodyguard Mr. Jang if he looks funny wearing that bonnet. (So cute, now if you think Baek Sung-hyun looks cute wearing that red bonnet, wait till you Kwon Sang-woo! He looks so adorable with that red bonnet on his head!)

u Yuri b*tch wears Jung-suh’s new clothes (given by Song-ju) to school. Jung-suh is mad because Yuri b*tch didn’t even bother to tell her. She almost got tardy looking for it. They get into a fight but what pissed me off in this scene is when Yuri was taking off the clothes etc. My reaction was: WHY DON’T YOU TAKE EVERYTHING OFF! LET’S SEE IF YOU CAN GET BACK TO THE CLASSROOM IN YOUR UNDERGARMENTS! YOU HELLO KITTY!

u Jung-suh and Yuri’s report cards are out and they’re showing them to their parents. Yuri shows hers first, pretty impressive because she came second in their class. Tae Mira Mother B*tch is very proud, she tells Jung-suh to let them see hers and it’s okay even if it’s not as impressive as Yuri’s. She gets the report card from Jung-suh and her face turns sour as she eyes it. Turns out, if Yuri places second, Jung-suh was first. (Muhahahaha!) Yuri couldn’t believe it either. Losers.

u Mother and daughter b*tch has started making Jung-suh’s life miserable. They locked Jung-suh in the attic and made Yuri go on a date with Song-ju.  They tell him that Jung-suh is sick. Song-ju leaves an order to Yuri, “Even when she's sick, Jung-suh never says so. If she said she's sick, it must’ve really hurt. Eventhough she acts tough, she's fragile on the inside, so you take care of her.” Jung-suh could hear it from inside the attic room. (*sniffs*)

u Jung-suh’s father comes to Jung-suh’s room to check on her. Seeing she’s asleep, he was about to leave when Jung-suh hugs him from behind. Crying, she asks him if he’s happy, Dad says he’s happy he could die. Because her dad’s happy, she has to endure whatever Mira and Yuri are doing to her. When her dad left, she tells herself that she’ll persevere only until before she leaves for US.

u Before Song-ju leaves for US, he and Jung-suh are talking at the carousel. Jung-suh’s crying because she couldn’t come with him dahil sa kaartehan nitong si Mira! (Napapatagalog talaga ko kapag nakakainis ang mga pangyayari!)

SJ: Should I wait? Should I wait and go with you?

JS: No, it's just that once you go, you won’t come back. Then I’d be so scared...

SJ: I’ll be back. I’m worried you might disappear on me.

JS: Then what’ll you do?

SJ: I have to find you.

JS: What if you cant?

SJ: I’ll look until i find you.

JS: And then...

SJ: We’re going to meet. Those who love each other end up together.

JS: No matter how far apart, they ultimately come back.

SJ: You’ll be fine even if I’m not here, right?

Jung-suh nods. (-_-) (._.) (-_-) (._.)

SJ: You can smile even if I’m not here, right?

Jung-suh looks down and cries, Song-ju knows she can’t. He grabs his coat and covers themselves. They kiss underneath it. (Damn, I wanna see pa naman! J But it’s understandable, their still young.)

Song-ju VO: Jungsuh, when I return, I’m going to draw a mural here for you. Of a place that knows no sadness, pain or separation. Heaven. (-> remember this line.)

EPISODE 2

u It’s Song-ju’s departure day. Jung-suh was locked up in the attic room again. She listens to her recorder and hears the message Song-ju recorded in her room before. “Han Jung-suh. Surprised? I’m secretly recording this in your room. If not like this, I don’t think I can say it. Jung-suh, the thing is...I like you very much. It's not just "like". How should i say it? I’m too young to know for sure but i wonder if what i feel for you now is love...this is too hard. I dont know how you'll react. Han Jung-suh, whenever you hear this, will you tell me how you feel?”

u Jung-suh gets out of the attic room with the help of Taehwa and she rushes to the airport without a word. Meanwhile, Songju is still looking around hoping to see Jungsuh for one last time. Jungsuh arrives at the airport running to where the boarding hall is. While going down the escalator, Yuri sees Jungsuh going up so she runs back up too.

Jungsuh arrives at the boarding hall but the door is already closed. Yuri also catches up and seeing that the door is already closed and Jungush is left hopeless, she turns her back to leave. Just then, to Jungsuh’s surprise, the door opens and reveals a smiling Songju.

Both Jungsuh and Songju walk forward to meet each other. They grab each other’s hands. Jungsuh gets the recorder and tells Songju how she feels, that she loves him too. She takes the tape out and gives it to Songju to bring it with him to US.

Songju also takes out something, couple necklaces. Songju holds the necklace with the heart pendant and puts it on Jungsuh. (I thought they were gonna kiss here! Haha. I reminded myself again that the girl is 13 and the boy is 14. J ) Jungsuh does the same, puts the one with the circle pendant on Songju. Songju caresses Jungsuh’s face before finally turning his back to board. They give their final wave to one another. (Lol. Beauty pageant?)

u Jungsuh is really having a hard time getting along with her biotchy stepmom and stepsister but she always remembers what Songju told her, to just smile. So she smiles and says, “Oppa, I should smile like this, right?”

u Pilsu (Taehwa and Yuri’s real father) goes to Tae Mira’s house. Taehwa sees him and asks what he’s doing there. Pilsu gives him a pair of sneakers. Mira then comes with Yuri and tells Pilsu that he’ll call the police if he stops going there to create a ruckus. Concerned, Taehwa tells his father to stop going there. When everyone’s inside, Pilsu says that the sneakers are Taehwa’s birthday present. (I’m just touched because Pilsu loves his son although he’s not too obvious in showing it. T_T)

u On Taehwa’s birthday, Jungsuh makes seaweed soup in the morning and Yuri’s like, “Do you want me to fail in my test? Why did you make seaweed soup?” (In Korea, you make seaweed soup when someone’s celekbrating a birthday and I guess it’s bad luck to eat seaweed soup when you have a test.) Yuri and her friends are going to the amusement park and Jungsuh’s dad is telling Jungsuh to come with Yuri. Jungsuh tells her dad that it’s ok because she has plans after class. (Siyempre, napaka-artista na naman dito na Yuri na kunyar she wanst Jungsuh to come eh hindi naman!) So after school. Jungsuh goes to the attic room (where Taehwa was locked up in the previous night by Mother Biotch) with the seaweed soup she made. She gives it to Taehwa but he’s hesitant to accept it. Jungsuh wraps a scarf she knitted around his neck and hands him the spoon to eat the seaweed soup. This time, Taehwa didn’t let go of the spoon. Jungsuh leaves him to eat but not before greeting him a happy birthday. Taehwa was so touched that Jungsuh remembered her birthday (his own blood mother and sister didn’t even care), he was crying while eating.

u  Taehwa goes to Jungsuh and Yuri’s school with two umbrellas. Yuri and her friends see him and eyeing the umbreallas, Yuri goes, “You brought me an umbrella?” (Mwahaha…she thought the umbrealla is for her. You loser girl.) She grabs the umbrella and Taehwa is kind of hesitant to give it to her but he still gave it anyways so she won’t doubt. So he’s left with only one umbrella. Jungsuh comes out and when Taehwa saw her, he extends his arm with the umbrella to cover Jungsuh’s head. (Basta he’s super cute here!) Jungsuh holds the umbrella and tells Taehwa that they share. Taehwa ignores her and runs away. Jungsuh runs after him and when she caught up with him, she’s like, “Oppa, let’s go together.”  Taehwa doesn’t answer, and instead, he reaches for her bag and carries it for her. (Yung pagkuha niya ng bag, napaikot si Jungsuh. Super cute.)

 u Jungsuh gets a fever because of the rain and faints. Taehwa was watching her when she fainted so he immediately carries her on his back and brings her to the hospital. The doctor takes off Jungsuh’s clothes leaving her with only her undergarments so Taehwa turned his back. The doctor begins to wipe Jungsuh’s body with cold water to make her temperature lower. She then tells Taehwa to continue it for her. Taehwa was hesitant if he should do it. But then the doctor said that if he wont do it, then the patient’s fever wouldn’t go down. So he does as he’s told. (I just love how he looked at Jungsuh’s face while doing it.)

u On their way home, Taehwa is stll carrying Jungsuh on his back. Jungsuh is in dreamland and imagining that the one carrying her is Songju. She mutters, “Oppa, your back feels so warm.” Taehwa thinks she was talking about him so she smiles and shouts, “Jungsuh likes me!!!!!” while running.

u I just lorve this scene!! The paper plane scene!!! Taehwa draws Jungsuh while doing the laundry and he folds the drawings into paper planes and throws them to Jungsuh. In turn, Jungsuh runs after the planes and she would smile as she unfolds each one.

But it ended very dramatic when Jungsuh finds Songju’s letter for her and cries while reading it. (In a previous scene, Yuri threw the letter to Taehwa while he made it into a plane and threw it outside the house. Incidentally, it went to the garden and Jungsuh finally found it.)

u Taehwa crosses over to Jungsuh’s veranda and hugs her. Jungsuh struggles but Taehwa would lose grip of her.

Taehwa: Do you like me or not?

Jungsuh: Of course, i like you. You’re my big brother.

TH: Not like that.

JS: Then what.

TH: As a man.

JS: Oppah.

TH: Tell me do you like me or not.

Taehwa lets go of Jungsuh and puts both his hands on Jungsuh’s shoulders. He hands her a paper.

TH: There’s a sketching contest tomorrow. I’m leaving my paint. If you dont come, I’m not painting. If you bring my paint, I’ll take that you like me too.

JS: Oppah.

Taehwa goes back to his veranda while Jungsuh was left staring at the paper.

u The following day, Jungsuh is having second thoughts if she’d bring Taehwa’s painting materials or not. She goes to Taehwa’s room and eyes the paints. She paces her head sideways signaling she wont do it but she sees the painting that she framed on Taehwa’s room’s wall so she changes her mind. Meanwhile, Taehwa is waiting for her.  He forms a square with his fingers as he waits. After a while, he smiles and we see Jungsuh running towards him “inside the square”. Jungsuh was catching her breath and Taehwa’s like, “I knew you’d come. You like me too right?” Jungsuh ignores what he just said and instead asked him if he can paint since he only has 10 minutes. They settle at some space and as Jungsuh hands Taehwa his brushes, he holds her hand, Jungsuh pulls back fast.

u After the competition, Jungsuh and Taehwa are walking home.

JS: Why is the title of the painting "Heaven." Who's the woman in the painting?

TH: You.

JS: Me? Why did you paint me?

TH: Because you like me. (Hahaha.)

JS: (ignoring what Taehwa said) If you win, I’ll get you a present.

TH: I already got my gift. You like me. (Hahaha.)

u Taehwa crosses over to Jungsuh’s veranda again and starts banging on her door when she wouldn’t come out. Fearing that their housemates might hear them, Jungsuh comes out.  Taehwa hugs her and pins her to the wall.

TH: Do you like me or not? (As in ang kulit ng line na to promise.)

JS: Why do you like me?

TH: You made me like you.

JS: When did i do that?

TH: You were the first to make me seaweed soup for my birthday. I didn’t even know that you’re supposed to eat that on birthdays. And it's the first time I got a birthday present. You’re the first person to smile at me like that, to praise me and say I’m a good artist. I like you. Jungsuh, you did this to me, so why won’t you accept my heart? You’ve made me flip, so why the change of attitude? Take responsibility! (This was so muhshesuh! Esp the take responsibility part, reminds me of Ji Eunsung. Lol.)

Yuri then is yelling for Jungsuh asking her if she used her towel. Taehwa jumps from the veranda because Yuri might see them. (Ahhh…)

u The following day, Taehwa follows Jungsuh with a cast on his foot. He shows her what’s written on the cast -> “Do you like me or not?” (Ang kulit diba!)

During break time at school, everyone in JUngsuh’s room was looking outside. Yuri goes to the window to take a look as well. She gets Jungsuh and to look at it too. Turns out, Taehwa is outside with a placard with “Jungsuh, do you like me or not?” written on it. (That’s so cute!)
