EPISODE 1

 

 

† Just because Kim Min-joon looks mighty hot here! That’s like his first shot and he looks damn hot! How can you smile and look good at that state, with all those bruises and blood all over your face?

 

 

† When Chae-ohk solved a crime. It was really cool! Basta she told Officer Lee to make all the workers line up and tell them to dip their hand in the water and the murderer’s hand will turn red afterwards because of the reaction with the solution used to kill the victim. After the test is done, noone’s hand turned red. But Chae-ohk already knows who the murderer is? Her explanation: oldest to youngest dapat ang arrangement but there’s this one guy na mali yung pwesto and all the while, he’s been rubbing his hand on his pants. He’s buying time na matanggal yung solution from his hand para di mag-positive dun sa test. Oh diba, ang galing. Di naman pala totoo yung test pero way lang yung ni Chae-ohk to observe who the real murderer is. Dito palang nagustuhan ko na si Chae-ohk. 

 

 

† So gay! Hwangbo fanning himself! Lol!

 

 

† Introducing the older version of horse polo – gyeokgu!

 

 

† I call this the cherry blossoms scene. The scene was so beautiful with all those cherry blossoms falling, plus ganda pa ng song! Hwangbo was squeezing lemon onto Chae-ohk’s wound. (What happened previously is that the Left and Right Police Bureau had a fight over gyeokgu because Chae-ohk, only a damo, was allowed to play for the Left Police Bureau. They won and the Right Police Bureau chief, Joh Chi-oh was irked. So he ordered someone to take responsibity for the fight. Hwangbo, as the Left Police Bureau chief said he’ll take responsibility. Chae-ohk heard this so she went to the RPB chief to take responsibility, because she cant let Hwangbo do that when he wasn’t even present during the gyeokgu game. She said that she would give her arm as punishment. Just then, Hwangbo appeared but  Chi-oh was still able to wound Chae-ohk’s arm, that serving as a warning. Hwangbo and Chae-ohk went to some place to give first aid to her wound. That is under that cherry blossom tree. Hehe.) Anwways, I just love this conversation ->

Hwangbo: Does it hurt?

Chae-ohk: Yes.

Hwangbo: It hurts me as well. Although you are my subordinate. you are no different from a younger sister. Don’t hurt me.

Chae-ohk: My lord,.. Since I was seven, I have been at your side. I would lay my life down for you, but I do not want to become an obstacle. I have served you for 15 years. I know the suffering you went through better than anyone else. I do not want to see your dream fall apart because of me.

Hwangbo: I have no intention of sacrificing you in order to achieve my dream.

He then touches Chae-ohk’s face (AAHHHH…. >.<) and they’re both teary-eyed pa. (another AAHHHH…)

 

 

See that very nice scenery? I wanna go there!

 

 

† Chae-ohk and salakot guy Jang Sung-baek’s first meeting. They were riding the same boat when a couple with a child came asking the boatman to let them ride the boat because their child is sick. Chae-ohk gave up her seat and after a while salakot guy aka Jang Sung-baek and his assistant did too. 3 seats were given up to accommodate the entire family but then, a SOB nobleman sat on one of the seats they gave up. Salakot guy was gonna get rid of the commotion but Chae-ohk beat him into doing it. Chae-ohk “flew” infront of the nobleman to give him a piece of her mind, holding her knife for back-up. Did I say the nobleman is a SOB? So surely he wouldn’t give a damn because he thinks he’s above everyone else. Salakot guy intervened, held Chae-ohk’s hand to hide the knife and told the SOB nobleman that a child peed on that seat, hearing it the nobleman stood up and salakot guy charged the boat causing the nobleman to fall into the water. (Mwahahaha!!!) So there, problem solved but Chae-ohk totally made a mark on salakot guy.

 

 

I just have to say this, Kim Min-joon really looks hot in that salakot. Basically, you don’t see his entire face, just his lips down, looking super mysterious. Mysterious equals hot. <(^-^)> See?

 

EPISODE 2

 

 

† Chae-ohk has this fat guy admirer and when she went to some gang’s turf to retrieve his pack containing the counterfeit coins, Fatty (I’m just gonna call him Fatty cause I don’t remember his name.) followed her. But you know, Fatty is not exactly a tough guy. It was really funny because he was hanging from a tree branch (pic 1) looking out for Chae-ohk. When the gang members were charging to Chae-ohk, he went down to cover Chae-ohk, and what was his weapon? a tree twig! (pic 2) Lol!! =_+ He even peed on his pants! Hahaha… But I actually loved him during the next episodes…

 

 

 † When Hwangbo and salakot guy were sword-fighting, but in this scene, Hwangbo has a sword but salakot guy don’t have one. (Wait, I forgot lang if salakot guy really don’t have one or his was thrown aside already, sorry. T_T) So Hwangbo charged salakot guy and the latter caught the blade with his two palms. (me -> Ouch!!) Major blood dripping from salkot guy’s hands.

 

 

† Salakot guy left already and Chae-ohk was looking up watching him “fly”. Hwangbo saw this and was like, (in a mad or jealous voice), “What are you staring at?” (Lol! Very cute reaction from Ha Ji-won here. Eh kung ako rin naman no! May wiping off drool pang naganap jan! ^.^)

 

 

† Hwangbo: What am I to you?

Chae-ohk: You are the commander I serve.

Hwangbo: Is that it? Is that all I am? Since long ago, was I only your commander? (Aww…Hwangbo… T_T)

 

 † Jaehui and Hwangbo’s first meeting 15 years ago. When Hwangbo first met Jaehui, he felt like he met someone just like him. Love the part when he piggybacked her, Jaehui’s apprehensive at first and Hwangbo’s like, “Get on. I won’t eat you.” and then he ran, crying, with her on his back.

 

 

† When Jaehui got scolded by the ahjuma because she was accused of stealing food from the kitchen. But she actually got honey water for Hwangbo who was beaten that morning. Hwangbo was smiling when he found out. (From what I’ve learned from reading krn internet novels, you drink honey water when you’re drunk.)

 

 

† 10000 bows to Buddha scene. Hwangbo went up to the mountain to train under a Buddhist monk. The monk ordered him to bow 10000 times to the Buddha before they start training. So he did but at 3000, his alost losing his balance. Jaehui, who was then counting for him, joined him in bowing. (That was cute, huh?)

 

 

† When Jaehui burned monk’s tungkod (I think because monk is always hitting Heangbo with it? or am I dreaming again?) then she came out with her face black from smoke. HWangbo saw her and offered her a hanky, Jaehui took it but he wiped her face for her instead. (At a previous scene, this happened aleardy but Jaehui didn’t take the hanky Hwangbo offered.)

 

 

† More Jaehui-Hwangbo moments: (pic 1) when they were washing clothes and Jaehui was looking at Hwangbo and she smiled to herself. (Kinilig ang bata!) (pic 2) when she was carrying twigs and HWangbo offered to help her but she wouldn’t acpet his help.

 

 

† When Hwangbo was practicing his sword skills and Jaehui was watching him. She tried imitating him with the broom she’s using to sweep and accidentally hits Hwangbo on the head. (Lol!) Hwangbo smiled and gave her one of his practice swords. Jaehui raised the “sword” infront of her but Hwangbo tossed it away in one hit. He told Jaehui to pick it up again.

 

 

† When she picked it up again, she’s grown up already, and of course, so is Hwangbo. They’ve been training eversince. And like always, Hwangbo offered her a hanky after the training.

 

 

† I so cried in this scene, when Hwangbo’s father asked him to call him Father for once. (Heuk. TT_TT)

EPISODE 3

 

 

† When Chae-ohk was thanking Fatty for the ginseng that she needed and Fatty got carried away. He’s like, “If it’s only for you Chae-ohk, I’ll not only get those ginsengs but one of those beautiful stars in your eyes.” He was looking so dreamily and then the old police officer from left Police Bureau (Damn, I forgot his name too. Their names are hard to remember, I so swear.) sort of ruining the scene for them. So Fatty exclaimed, “Man, we were just getting in the mood!” (Hehehehe…)

 

 

† When Hwangbo got mad at Chae-ohk for moving again without informing the Police Bureau. Hwangbo was just mad because Chae-ohk could’ve been raped. (Ahhh…)

 

 

† This is a pretty long conversation between Chae-ohk and Hwangbo after she turned in her badge meaning she’s quitting. I’m just gonna quote my favorite lines from their entire conversations. But these are not spontaneous, ok? They don’t make sense if you read them altogether.

Have you ever looked into your heart? – Hwangbo

Chae-ohk, I just to see you have a good life and protect you… but when I want you to take just one step, you take two steps. – Hwangbo

No one has confined me as much as you have…and no one has freed me as much you have. However now I have become a large obstacle to you. – Chae-ohk

Do you know that leaving the police bureau is also ending things with me? So I’m asking you again, do you really want to end you relation with me? – Hwangbo

Hwangbo left the room teary-eyed while Chae-ohk was crying inside.

 

EPISODE 4

 

 

† When Chae-ohk and Hwangbo had a moment and ahgashi (Ahgashi means Lady, kinda like Xiao Jie in Mandarin. I also forgot her name so I’m just gonna call her that. She’s the daughter of the Police Chief who likes Hwangbo.) saw them. Anyways, this is hard because now, I really can’t write why I like these scenes. I like a lot of scenes that I can’t really explain why I like ‘em.

 

 

† When Chae-ohk told Hwangbo that she’ll volunteer to get into the syndicate to spy on them. She was saying goodbye to Hwangbo and before she left, he hugged her told her, “Come back alive, no matter what.” The part where he pulled her into a hug is just so !!!! (Whatever !!!! means. >.<)
