EPISODE 6

 

-> Sae-hoon ridicules her even more.

SH: The rich girl is now my maid? This is amusing.

Ji-eun walks past him but Sae-hoon grabs her right arm.

SH: You shouldn’t leave before your client’s done talking.

JE: Does it amuse you that I’m working as a maid? Yes, I’m a maid. Did you want to show off that you’re now successful and this is what I’ve become so much, that you deliberately asked for me?

SH: Do you think I wanted to show off by deliberately asking for you? Can you think that I still love you? (aww~~) What kind of maid doesn’t even know how to fry eggs?

JE: That was a long time ago. I learned a lot.

SH: Yes, you had a lot to learn.

JE: I guess you were blessed to have success like this.

SH: My life took a turn for the better since a certain woman dumped me.

JE: I guess congrats are in order then.

SH: Thanks. Give me some water. (I was thinking he’s too mean but he’s keeping his true feelings inside him.)

 

 

(Lolz. The water is for him, not for you!!!)

They continue talking in the kitchen.

JE: Your new maid will start tomorrow since this is very uncomfortable.

SH: You’re the one who’s uncomfortable.

JE: I don’t feel insecure. Someone showed how cowardly it is to feel that way 10 years ago.

SH: You changed a lot

JE: Yes I did. No I had to change. I guess it’s you that changed.

SH: No, I haven’t changed except that I made some money.

(I love their conversations like this one, I can smell the friction!)

 

They talk one last time before Ji-eun finally left the house. (This was in the living room. Wow, they talked in 3 different rooms of the house!)

SH: I deliberately asked for you to help you.

JE: Help me? What are you going to give all your money?

SH: You seem to resent me.

JE: I don’t resent you because I’ve forgotten about you.

SH: That’s disappointing because I’ve thought about you from time to time. (wehe, that’s hot.)

JE: Fine. It’s just work.

 

 

-> This is funny because Yeo-jin got stuck in this small swing, a toy for kids, Bok-ja had to help pull him out. (Whew, comic relief!)

 

 

-> Ji-eun was to cook breakfast for Sae-hoon, she grabs some eggs and a memory from 10 years ago appears in her mind - when she and Sae-hoon would have eggs for breakfast. Sae-hoon told her that their baby might come out clucking like a chicken because she’s eating too much eggs but she doesn’t care. Her husband makes the best fried eggs in the world unlike her who always breaks the yolk. (Girl, you’re not alone, I ALWAYS DO TOO!) Back to the present, she sees Sae-hoon who has walked in the kitchen, making her drop the eggs.

 

 

(Love this scene.)Sae-hoon is now settled in the table and sees that his utensils are placed on his left side.

SH: I’m touched, you remembered that I’m left-handed. Isn’t this ironic, you never made breakfast while we were married, now that were divorced you’re making me breakfast. (Lol.) It looks good. Why don’t you join me?

JE: It’s okay.

SH: Being here with you reminds me of the time when we were married.

JE: There’s one thing that hasn’t changed. It’s that we’re talking over breakfast. (When they were married 10 years ago, they only get to talk during breakfast because that’s their only time together. SH is usually out working and studying at the same time.)

Ji-eun returns Sae-hoon’s pen, she places it on top of the table.

SH: It’s surprising that you held on this for so long. I thought you threw it out.

JE: I knew what I meant to you since it was the only thing you had of your father.

SH: If you thought that way 10 years ago, I wonder what might have happened to us.

JE: You shouldn’t feel like you’re the only one hurt because I lost a great deal because of you. (-> her father’s death)

 

 

-> Sae-hoon, Mi-ran and Jung-min are having dinner and they talk about the girl that Jung-min is chasing after (Sae-hoon and Mi-ran don’t know it’s Ji-eun)

MR: You’ve really fallen for that woman. I wonder how long you’re gonna last this time.

JM: Until I die. No, until even after I die. I’ll make her my woman.

SH: So we’ll be hearing wedding bells soon?

JM: No, right now I’m just chasing after her.

MR: Why is she rejecting a man like you?

JM: That’s why I like her. Men don’t like women who are clingy. (Waha, did you hear that, Mi-ran?) Isn’t that right Pres. Jang? (Sae-hoon smiles)

It’s time for dessert, the dessert has oranges.

JM: None for me. She’s allergic to oranges. (The look on Sae-hoon’s face!!) So I’ve begun to dislike them myself.

MR: I’m really curious to see her. The womanizer is giddy with love like a teenage boy. Is she pretty?

JM: Of course she’s pretty. She’s prettier than you in every way. (wark wark wark)

Mi-ran tells Jung-min to invite the girl to dinner on Sunday. (Hmm…be prepared?

MR: I can’t wait to meet her.

JM: She’s worth the wait. (Magulat na lang kayong lahat!)

 

 

-> Ho-jin has started with giving Yeo-jin “How to make Bok-ja mine tips? the first one is play hard to get because men who are easy aren’t attractive. Bok-ja and Yeo-jin are getting off work early so Bok-ja was thinking of doing fun things with Yeo-jin but he would always say no, even if he so wants to, thinking about what Ho-jin told him ?to play hard to get. Bok-ja figured out easily what was happening, “Ho-jin told you to play hard to get, didn’t he??+WHACK!+ (<- Yeo-jin in the head) “I was  the one who told him to do that to get girls!?(Poor Yeo-jin, si Ho-jin naman, magbibigay lang ng tip, galing pa kay Bok-ja!)

 

 

-> Ji-eun is leaving Sae-hoon’s house when Jung-min who has very great timing arrives to pick her up. (He was super cute when eh said, “Great timing huh?? A few secs after Jung-min’s car retreated, Sae-hoon’s arrived naman. I think he was kind of hoping Ji-eun is still inside the house but she’s gone already. He enters the kitchen and sees the meal that Ji-eun cooked for him. So many things that’s connected with the past: 1) post-it that Ji-eun left and 2) the turtle, err, (I dunno what to call it, just look at the pic! Lol) where Ji-eun placed the utensils. (Remember, she had a pet turtle 10 years ago?)

 

-> Jung-min opened this scene with the line “Live with me.?(I was like, “Are you kidding me???But I’ll say yes anyhow, lol.) He went on blabbering about how he’ll take care of her because he doesn’t want her to have a hard time doing the job of a maid. Etc etc. I like this part:

JM: I don’t like the fact working for Mr. Jang. He’s a cool guy. (Your worries go beyond that reason, if you only knew.) You asked me why I don’t get out of misery. It’s because I don’t want to get out of it. It’s because I think there not much hope even after I get out of it. Couldn’t you be my hope? (Ji-eun remains quiet) Why aren’t you answering me?

JE: Couldn’t we be just friends?

JM: No. all right. But I can be very persistent.

Then they see Ji-eun’s biotch younger sis, an alien named Young-eun. JM tells her, “We decided to be friends. But I’m trying to be more than that.?The alien with the curly hair wig answers back, “You’ve got the wrong girl.?(Weh!!!! In your dreams!) Now, Ji-eun why do you have such a biotch sis? She should just anything like she was 10 years ago! Then she wouldn’t talk much because her mouth is always stuffed with food!

 

 

-> It’s Sunday aka the day Jung-min and Ji-eun have dinner with Sae-hoon and Mi-ran aka very awkward situation. Jung-min brings Ji-eun to the mall without saying anything to her so of course, Ji-eun’s confused.

JE: Where are we going?

JM: To spend money. What’s wrong with my buying you clothes? (finally gives up with his little front) Actually, I told my friend that I’d introduce you. I want to show off that I have a proper woman too. I’m sorry. I knew you wouldn’t go along with it if I told you.

JE remembers that she did the same thing to Sae-hoon 10 yrs ago.

JE: Alright. I know how you must’ve felt. Can I buy something expensive? (Lol.)

So they do a lot of shopping and went to the restaurant. Jung-min compliments Ji-eun -> I think you’re pretty. I don’t think anyone is prettier than you. (Ok, ok, Jung-min, you’ve made your point!)

 

 

-> One word to describe this scene: AWKWARD! Sae-hoon and Mi-ran arrives and everyone except Jung-min is shocked. MI-ran starts the conversation. Pretty much she and Jung-min are the only ones talking because Sae-hoon and Ji-eun are too tongue-tied to say anything.

MR: Let’s meet often.

JM: I don’t want to do that. I want to be alone with JE.

MR: You really have fallen for her. How much do you like her?

JM:  A corny question will get a corny answer, you know? I like her more than I could ever say!

SH: (to Ji-eun) Do you feel the same? Do you like Mr. Seo?

Ji-eun remains quiet.

JM: Aren’t you going to answer him?

SH: Silence means it’s a yes.

JM places his and Ji-eun’s holding hands on table, Sae-hoon looks, (ouch my hair again!) Ji-eun tries to put it back under the table. Mighty Jung-min says -> “Let’s stay like this.?o:p>

 

 

Sae-hoon, probably cannot take the situation anymore, excuses himself to go the men’s room. Ji-eun gets a call so she excuses herself also. She was talking to her mom when she sees Sae-hoon coming out of the men’s room. They have a little chat. Sae-hoon ridicules her that her mom must be happy because she finally meets a man who?s rich (Jung-min).

SH: Your mother must be happy. A man with a good background like Mr. Seo is just what your parents wanted for you. You sure never cease to amaze me. Why didn’t you tell me about you and Mr. Seo?

JE: Do I have a reason to inform you? (Exactly!)

SH: No you don’t. Did you steal his bag again like you did mine?

JE: I want you to be happy with Mi-ran.

SH: And you’re happy with Mr. Seo?

JE: Stop being a baby about this. There’s no rule that says only you can be happy.

SH: Of course, you should be happy. I wonder if he knows you’re divorced.

JE: He knows. I hate looking back on my past, but it’s a part of my life.

SH: You’ve come back into my life again. How does it feel for you to come back into my life again?

JE: Stop I don’t want to fight with you.

Ji-eun turns to leave.

SH: Are you going to marry him?

JE: I never entertained that thought, but perhaps I should.

Right then, Jung-min arrives to fetch her back to the table, Sae-hoon could just look on.

 

 

-> Obviously, Sae-hoon is jealous that Ji-eun is dating Jung-min so he goes to Ji-eun’s place after sending Mi-ran home. Jung-min is also there because he sent Ji-eun home. They have a talk before seeing him off.

JM: I don’t think you dislike me.

JE: You’re right. It’s not that I don’t like you. And I know you’re too good for me.

JM: That’s good enough for me.

JE: Actually, the man that I was married to?/B> (She was gonna say it na eh! Damn, Jung-min I thought you have great timing!!)

JM: I’m?(I’m so covering my face here!) I’m going to take a step forward.

There goes Jung-min and Ji-eun KISS # 1. (Note: I got different angles again. Lol.) Remember Sae-hoon? Yup he saw it. What’s worse is that she got her eyes closed!!!!!!! Hmm…Sae-hoon was so jealous. He left her place and drove like crazy! (Love the song!! Destiny again!!)

-> The kiss aftermath: Ji-eun and Jung-min were sitting side by side but neither is speaking.

JM: Why don’t you say something?

JE: What do you want me to say?

JM: Are you upset that I stole a kiss from you? That wasn’t very gentlemanly of me but I won’t apologize. (Hot!) I genuinely wanted to kiss you.

JE: I know your feelings towards me are sincere. And..

JM: And you’re afraid of getting hurt?

JE: Yes, I’m afraid of getting hurt and afraid of hurting you. I loved someone so much along time ago. I thought I’d die without him. But I left him in spite of my love for him. The problem is me.

JM: Don’t make excuses to run away from me. I want to experience love with you. (Sweet!)

JE: It’s late you should go.

JM: I should go. But my feet are glued to the ground. (Another cheesy line!) Come here. Let me hold you. (Ji-eun not moving) When will you get closer to me? fine. I’ll just keep stepping closer to you until we get close. (Jung-min hugs her! huhum..diff angles ulit yan!)

 

 

-> An ex-girlfriend of Jung-min’s comes to him and wants to talk. He was on a car with Sae-hoon then because they had some business together. He tells him, “Give me 1 minute and 30 seconds.?(to take care of the girl.) So he talked to the girl and basically pushed her away. When he came back, he tells Sae-hoon, “I told you, exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds right??(Actually, he’s so bad here but hello? What would you expect, he’s a womanizer!)

 

 

-> (OMG OMG! -> again, sorry for preempting) Jung-min feels that Ji-eun is stressed out about something (something aka Mi-ran smelling fishy about Sae-hoon and her ex-wife, which is her.) He was like, “STAY RIGHT HERE.?He gets something from his car, when he came back, he has a whole tray of eggs in his hand. Seeing Ji-eun is confused what’s with the eggs, he explains, “It’s the cure-all. Do you know the cause of loss of sleep and appetite, ulcers, high blood pressure and even cancer? It’s stress. (People, are you reading this???) Eggs are the best for relieving stress. (he leads her to his car) Here, throw as hard as you can. (Ji-eun is hesitant) It’s okay. I’ll wash my car. (Jung-min starts throwing eggs and after a while, Ji-eun joins him and they have fun, releasing all the stress at least for that moment.)

Afterwards, Ji-eun sees that Jung-min has egg stain on his sleeves so she wipes it with her hanky.

JE: You have something on your sleeves.

JM: I’m touched. If you need time to love me, I’ll wait.

 

 

-> dug dug dug dug..Mi-ran finds out. Ayan kase naghahalungkat! ANG DAMING EBIDENSYA! One after another! She sees the letters first, where she signed, “Your love Ji-eun.?Then the phoenix postcard, Sae-hoon and Ji-eun’s wedding picture and their common pen (she remembered when she used Ji-eun’s pen to write her number). Ji-eun comes to the room looking guilty because Mi-ran was holding the pen. Mi-ran says, “Why do you look guilty? Did you do something to me?)

 

EPISODE 8

 

 

-> Young-eun goes to Jung-min’s office and tries to seduce him. (Duh, as if.)

YE: I could do anything you want me to do.

JM: Anything? (At this moment, I was like, “NO!!?as in with a huge X in front of me! lalo na when their face are nearing each other’s na! but? Then just walk out of this room quietly. (Lol. Buti nga!) How could you come on to me like that knowing I like your sister? I’ll forget about this, since I’m going to be your brother in law. (Lol.)

 

 

-> Because Mi-ran is so jealous, she destroys the phoenix print in the living room while Ji-eun’s out in the market. When Sae-hoon came home, he sees it shattered. Mi-ran says maybe it fell and suggests that he throws it already since it’s broken. Ji-eun and Sae-hoon are exchanging glances. Mi-ran was insisting that they throw it and commands Ji-eun to throw it. she was going to when Sae-hoon told her just leave it alone and he’ll do it later instead. But really, he doesn’t want to throw it away.

 

 

-> Ji-eun is feeling low because Mi-ran is bitching, she made it appear to Sae-hoon that Ji-eun has some grudge against her. while she was walking home, she  mistakes someone as Jung-min (It signals that her feelings towards him are progressing.)

 

 

-> Jung-min is talking to a friend (the birthday guy on Episode 4)

Friend: Isn’t one month your limit for dating? How long is it going to last with Ji-eun?

JM:  I told you it’s different this time. It’s because she makes my heart skip a beat. (Cheesy.)

 

 

-> Ji-eun calls Jung-min to meet because she feels low. These lines are remarkable during their conversation.

JE:  I should never have met you. No, maybe if I’d met you earlier. (She’s liking him na!)

JM: I think I was born with the destiny of loving you. (-> Cheesy!!)

 

And then my favorite part?o:p>

JM: I’ve been feeling something has upset you today. Do you want to exercise? I’ll be right back. (He goes to his car again and I was like, WHATS IN HIS  CAR THIS TIME?) He opens his car’s radio and he started dancing. (So cute!!! Gosh, how can you not love a guy like him???)

 

 

-> Ji-eun gets a call from her boss that she was booked to work at Jeju Island. (The Seolin company has a merger to close with Americans and Jung-min suggested to get Ji-eun’s agency to be their helpers because Ji-eun can speak English.) Jie-un gets a clue that somehow Jung-min is responsible for that so she asks him.

JM: Ok, I did arrange that.

JE: Why did you do that?

JM: So that we could go to Jeju together. You just follow my lead. You resent that I don’t ask before I act?

JE: That’s right. I don’t like not being informed.

JM: That’s too bad. I’m always going to do things w/o asking. (pulling her to his car) Get in.

JE: Where are we going?

JM: To have fun.

 

 

(Now where did they go?) To the bar opening! (where Sae-hoon and Mi-ran are too!) How awkward, but Jung-min who’s the only one left in the dark about Sae-hoon and Ji-eun’s relationship says, ? of us will have fun.?(Gah, you have no idea!) Later, Jung-min asks Ji-eun, ?have you been to Jeju Island??(Lol!!!)

 

 

-> Jung-min and Ji-eun dancing to Lee Seung Chul’s Destiny. (Love love love this song!), SAe-hoon is looking jealous while Mi-ran is jealous too loking at Sae-hoon looking at Jung-min and Ji-eun jealous. (Got it?)

 

 

-> Jung-min and Ji-eun are talking at their usual bench.

JM:  I’ll do anything for you.

JE: I feel like I’ve gotten a dependable sponsor. (Lol.)

Ji-eun then receives a call from a man, who turns out to be Sae-hoon.

SH: Let’s meet.

JM: Is it a man? Let me talk to him. (kulit! Of course, Ji-eun didn’t let him. Is she crazy?)

 

 

-> So Ji-eun meets Sae-hoon, while Mi-ran follows Sae-hoon’s car. (I wasn’t able to copy their dialogues so this is just from my memory.)

SH: I hired you to help you.

JE: Who are you to do that?

SH: I’ll tell Mi-ran and Mr. Seo.

JE: I’ll take care of my own problem.

Ji-eun turns to leave but she gets pulled by Sae-hoon. Now they’re facing each other.

SH: WHY DID WE END UP THIS WAY? WHAT WENT WRONG? If you waited for me?o:p>

JE: So it’s my fault again? MEETING YOU WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! You weren’t suitable for me?o:p>

SH: I’m still not? I’m still not suitable for you?

Sae-hoon grabs her face and KISS # 6 happens. Mi-ran sees this and her eye balls almost came out of the sockets because of jealousy. (Ok, that was exag? She commands her driver to drive away. Meanwhile, Ji-eun slaps Sae-hoon. (Ayan kase you left, you didn’t see that Ji-eun slapped him!)

SH: We haven’t kissed in 10 years. How does it feel?

JE: How did you become so despicable? I regret that I once loved you.

Ji-eun walks away from him.
