EPISODE 6

 

 

wu Jisoo tells Songju that he must have planned everything from the start and because of this, she has no intentions of working with him. Songju says then the contract will become void if she pays the withdrawal payment which costs 10 times more. But of couse, Jisoo doesn’t have any money so Songju tells her that until then, they’ll do a good job together, and then he shakes her hand. (Pang-asar eh no?)

 

 

wu Jisoo’s complaining to one guy employee why tha rude Songju is the company’s president. The guy employee shushes her telling her not to say anything like that aloud because the President is the Chairwoman’s son.

 

 

wu After drawing the clothes at a boutique inside the changing room, she returns them to the saleslady. She tells her she’ll buy them next time (but she actually has no plans of doing so.) The saleslady tells her that the clothes are paid already. She takesa peep on the preson who paid everything, it’s Songju, sporting a mischievous smile. Jisoo goes back to the saleslady and grabs all the clothes. She goes to Songju and tosses all the clothes to him, saying that the clothes wouldn’t “buy” her. Songju starts getting more stuffs from the stall and stacking them infront of Jisoo. She tells him she gets goosebumps when wearing those kind of clothes. Songju asks her, “Who told you they’re for you? These are for the company.” (ack!! Embarrassing!)

 

 

Jisoo carries all the bags of clothes, Songju’s offering help but Jisoo wouldn’t take it. He complies and tells her, “See you at the office!” (Haha! so he’s not driving her! Haha.) Jisoo couldn’t believe that he’s just gonna leave her just like that. She yells at the receding back of Songju’s car but Songju just waves his hand to her. (lol!)

 

 

wu Jisoo calls Chulsoo from a place where she could see him. Songju comes. (Stalker!)

SJ: Boyfriend? Do you love that man?

JS: Yes.

SJ: Do you like that style?

JS: Look here... (I think she was gonna say it’s none of your business but Songju cuts her.)

SJ: By 3pm today, have the new fashion design proposal completed.

Jisoo was gonna protest but SOngju turns his back on her and waves his hand with his fingers forming 3. (finish at 3pm)

 

 

wu Songju and Jisoo are working together at his office. Well actually, it’s just Jisoo working, SOngju’s merely staring at her, from up to down, left to right. He’s teary-eyed but when Jisoo looks up to stare at him, he turns his head to the side to conceal his tears. Jisoo touches her necklace but before Songju could look to the front again, Jisoo hides the necklace inside her shirt.

 

 

wu Chulsoo misses Jisoo and Songju who just hopped inside the elevator.

 

 

wu On their way to Jungsuh’s beachhouse, Songju does magic to make Jisoo’s cellphone disappear while Taehwa’s calling. He also plays the tape Jungsuh gave her years ago, the one where they told each other their feelings.

 

 

wu Songju teaches Jisoo something.

SJ: What do you think about love? Should i tell you? (He throws the boomerang and catches it) Love is... something that returns.

He teaches Jisoo how to throw it just like how he did with Jungsuh years ago. Jungsuh throws the boomerang and catches it. She’s happy that she caught it so she smiles. Songju tells here, “That’s how you smile.”

 

 

wu They walk to the beachhouse and Jisoo exclaims that she knows that house. Songju looks at her with a face filled with hope but it vanishes when Jisoo adds that she went to that place once with Chulsoo oppa. They go inside and Jisoo plays with the dolls Jungsuh used to dress up. She notices that their clothes are worn out. Songju tells her that it’s because eversince Jungsuh passed away, the dolls never changed clothes whethere it’s summer or winter.

 

 

wu Songju teaches Jisoo how to play the piano. (He tells her, “I’m a magician, I can make you play the piano.”) He positions her hands on top of his while he plays the usual piece he plays for Jungsuh.

 

 

wu After the piano-playing, teary-eyed Songju asks Jisoo, “May I hug you once?” Songju hugs her while a drop of tear falls from his eye. JIsoo, unaware why, also sheds a tear.

 

 

wu On their way, they see Jungsuh’s dad and he’s also surprised to see Jisoo, looking a lot like Jungsuh. Songju leaves Jisoo and JUngsuh’s dad to talk. Dad asks Jisoo if he could hold her hand, Jisoo extends her hands for him to hold. Dad asks if he could touch her face, Jisoo nods. After touching her face, Dad breaks down. Jisoo cries as she watches him.

 

 

wu Jisoo comes home with Songju and Chulsoo sees them. Taehwa causes a ruckus upon seeing Jisoo. He rips off her clothes (about to do “something” to her.)

CS: I saw you coming back with that bastard. I feel like I’m going to go crazy because of you. Because of you...

JS: I’m sorry for making you like this. If you want... (Jisoo lowers down her sleeve as if saying it’s OK if it will make Taehwa feel better but Taehwa just hugs her. That was sweet of him!)

CS: I’m sorry Jisoo, I was just scared you wouldn’t come back. I wasn’t myself, forgive me, Jisoo.

JS:  I’m the one who should beg for forgiveness. I love you. But my heart hurts everytime I think of that person (-> Songju) I shouldnt be like this, I shouldn’t be doing this to you but my heart wouldnt listen to me.

CS:  Let’s start over.

JS: No, once the mural is finished, I’ll quit. I’ll give up finding out who I am. I’ll give up things that hurt you. Oppa, i love you... more than i love myself.

 

EPISODE 3

 

 

u Taehwa still puts his jacket around Jungsuh even if she hates him for liking her.

 

 

u One morning, Taehwa runs after Jungsuh who’s on her way to the bus stop. He grabs her bag (using the paikot mode) again but Jungsuh isn’t happy with. (I just like it whenever Taehwa grabs her bag like that.)

 

 

u Inside the bus, Taehwa asks the girl sitting beside Jungsuh that they exchange seats. Jungsuh is still ignoring him. He takes out one of his books and shows her an animation he did. At the end of the page, a cloverleaf falls. Jungsuh picks it up and smiles. Taehwa’s like, “You smiled.” (He succeeded! Hehe.) He leans on Jungsuh’s shoulders and smiles.

 

 

u Taehwa and Jungsuh are running to school because the gates are closing very soon. Taehwa stops the gates from being closed and let’s Jungsuh in. He was punished by the tardy police for doing that but it’s ok because Jungsuh was able to get in without being punished. (Ahhh….)

 

 

u Taehwa wins the painting contest and was awarded infront of the entire student body. In his speech, he says, “Han Jungsuh. Don’t cry. Oppa’s here!” Did I tell you it was infront of the entire student body??? Jungsuh was so embarrassed in a very cute way.

 

 

u Because Taehwa won, as promised, JUngsuh and TAehwa goes to the amusement park. While riding the carousel, Taehwa shouts, “Han Jungsuh, do you like me or not?” while circling around the carousel. (I just noticed something, whenever Jungsuh is riding the carousel, Songju just stays at one place while Taehwa would follow her around.)  And her goes the transition, when Jungsuh reappeared, it’s already 3 years after and we see an adult Jungsuh (Choi Ji Woo) but Taehwa hasn’t changed. He’s still asking Jungsuh, “Han Jungsuh, do you like me or not?”

 

 

u I so cried in this scene. Taehwa and Jungsuh are in the attic room and Taehwa wants to draw Jungsuh before she leaves for US in a few days.

TH: I’m drawing a beautiful picture of you for the last time. So why's your expression like that?

JS: Why is it the last?

TH: Hey, if I become famous, would I use you as a model?

JS: What?

TH: (teary eyed) Smile. Smile prettily. Oh you’re pretty.just like that. Look at me. Smile.

JS: Do I have to keep smiling like this?

TH: Yeah. (lifts the sketch pad to cover his face)

JS: Is it coming along well?

TH: Yeah (without lifting head)

JS: Oppa. Oppa. (she’s teary eyed as well and removes the sketch pad from covering Taehwa)

TH: (wipes tears) I’m hungry. I’m going to go eat ramen.

JS: (pulls him back) Don’t eat ramen alone. Even if you don’t want to, eat rice with your family members. Answer me. Answer me. Answer me, oppa. (Taehwa nods) Thanks. For all this time, i was really happy because of you. If you weren’t here, what would I have been like?

TH: (stands up and heads to the door) If you’re not here, what do you think I’ll be like? If you leave, what do you think I’ll be like? (Heuk. T_T)

 

 

u Taehwa was sort of  stopping Jungsuh to go, I just cried when he said this, “Because of you, I smiled for the first time. Because of you, I was happy for the first time. I was happy for the first time because of you.” T_T

 

 

u After the accident and 5 more years after, Jungsuh, who’s now Jisoo, gets into a fight, Taehwa, now Chulsoo, comes to the rescue and covers Jungsuh from getting beat up.

 

 

u They land at the police station and are still having an argument with their enemies. But what made me laugh is when they brought up food amidst all the fighting. XD

Jisoo: We’re hungry so please order us some beef stew.

Chulsoo: Jajang myun for me.

JS: Oppa! Eat rice, you ate bread this morning.

CS: Oh yeah, then two beef stews. Oh you? (referring to Jaehee, Jisoo’s business partner)

JH: Me too.

CS: Three beef stews ok? No green onions in Jisoo's, got it? (Hahahah!! May ganong habilin pa eh no?)

 

 

u Songju arrives from US after 5 years, he’s on a plane with Yuri. He sees a girl across from him and counts, 3, 2, 1. (Ack!!! KSW is so cute here!!) At 1, the girl’s shirt’s button is unhooked. Songju reaches out to button it for her and does a magic. (What a playboy, you could see Yuri’s disgusted face on the background, what a loser.)

EPISODE 4

 

 

wu Upon arrival to Korea from US, Songju goes straight to Jungsuh’s beach house. He plays the piano and mutters, “Jungsuh, can you hear me?” Unbeknownst to him, Jungsuh could actually hear him. She, as Jisoo, is right outside the house, at the beach, watching Chulsoo paint.

 

 

wu Jisoo walks to the house and peers inside. She sees Song ju inside playing the piano. But everytime Songju would look outside, in her direction, she’s gone. (Dammit!)

 

 

wu Jungsuh tells Chulsoo that she’s gonna buy him watercolor tomorrow so Chulsoo thinks who Jisoo really likes, him or his drawings?

CS: Is it me or my pictures?

JS: What does that mean?

CS: Give it here. Do you like me or dislike me?

JS: That question again? You know already so why ask?

CS: Like me or dislike me?

JS: I like you. Happy?

CS: Yeah. Happy.

 

 

wu Pilsu (Chulsoo’s father) tells Chulsoo that he isn’t coming home that night so he has to do what he’s gotta do. (that is, make Jisoo his, man…sleep with her!) So when they went to bed, while Jisoo is sound asleep, Chulsoo keeps pacing in his bed. He gets up and does exercise just to get it out of his mind. He moves the curtain that separates his bed from Jisoo’s. Instead of doing what all thought he’s going to do, he pulls her blanket and just watched her face. (That was hecka nice.)

 

 

wu Taehwan got the job to do the mural after Jungsuh passed his application form. They go to the amusement park to look at the place where he’s painting.

JS: When you finish the mural. I’ll give you a present. I’ll gove you an engagement. If you become a famous artist, they say you make a lot of money. There’s no reason not to get engaged. But how do you paint heaven?

CS: I just have to paint you. (Aahhh…<(^-^)>)

 

 

wu Songju’s engagement to Yuri will be announced that night so he says goodbye to Jungsuh. He was sitting at a bench infront of the carousel. At that time, Jungsuh was riding that.

SJ: I’m going to send you away now. But before that...i want to see you just once. That can’t happen though, right? But still, once... just once.

He looks up and sees Jisoo on the carousel. He smiles because he thinks that’s Jungsuh’s last sign. After another round, Jisoo reappears. This time, Songju is puzzled. He runs towards the carousel and around checking to see if it’s really Jungsuh. He stops right behind Chulsoo who watching Jisoo. Jisoo gets down from the horse and smiles at someone.Songju thinks it’s him she’s smiling too but he’s shocked that it’s not him, it’s Chulsoo. They leave with their arms around each other. At first, Songju could only watch them leave but after some time, s if getting a wake up call, he grabs Jisoo, makes her face him and calls her Han Jungsuh. He hugs her tight to Jisoo’s surprise. Chulsoo clenches his fist, pulls Jisoo away from Songju and runs away fast with her.

 

 

wu Because Jisoo’s asking Chulsoo too much about that guy, Songju. Chulsoo gets pissed and leaves her. Meanwhile, Songju who was running after them, catches up with her. He calls her Han Jungsuh again, caresses her face and hugs her tight. Jisoo has had it so she runs ro the stop and boards a bus fast. Songju who didn’t get on runs after the moving bus.

 

 

wu When the bus made a stop, Songju was able to get on and goes straight to Jisoo who was sitting at the back.  He shows her pictures of them when they were younger but Jisoo has no idea what he’s talking about. She runs away from him again thinking he’s some kind of lunatic.

 

 

wu Jisoo runs to the market with Songju still after her. He catches up and does the same, call her Han Jungsuh and hug her tight. (I would so want to be in that position all day and never complain!) Jisoo tells him that she’s Kim Jisoo, not Han Jungsuh. When Songju wouldn’t still let go of her, she shouts “Assault!” making people around him get hold of Songju so she was able to escape from him. Poor Songju couldnt get out of the people’s grips and just helplessly watched Jisoo run away.

EPISODE 5

 

 

u Jisoo comes back home seeing a devastated Chulsoo. She dances infront of him to make him laugh. She’s like, “Come on, oppa, smile. I’m so embarrassed.” She continues dancing until she twists her ankle. She sits down and when she looks up, she does a saranghae gesture and forms a heart wither fingers. Chulsoo smiles.

 

 

u Songju and Jisoo hold their necklaces at the same time, unknowingly.

 

 

u Songju goes to Jisoo’s store to the latter’s disgust. Jisoo goes rude on him and he’s like, “The service is terrible. How can you run a business this sloppily?” Jisoo asks if there’s anything he’s looking for. Songju asks her if she can make time because he wants to take her somewhere. Jisoo says she’s busy. Songju goes, “How much is everything here? 10 mil won? 20 mil won? If i buy all of this, there's nothing to be busy with.” Jisoo gets pissed off and tells him to go. He sees Jisoo’s drawing of a man that looks like him, he grabs it and says, “Don’t you also have an interest in me?” (Oops, busted!) Anyways, I like it when their faces gets too close. Hehe.

 

 

Jisoo shoos him away and tells him to never appear infront of her again. Songju says that they might meet by accident next time. Songju leaves and Jisoo follows to peep at him (she was hiding behind the clothes). Just then Songju turns back to wave to her, catching Jisoo who’s staring at him. (Haha.)

 

 

u Jisoo is at the subway station carrying two bags full of clothes. Songju appears from somewhere and makes her kulit. He’s like, “Whoa! This is a coincidence!” (Lol!) Jisoo walks ahead wanting to evade him. Songju follows her and everytime Jisoo would look back at him, he pretends to be looking somewhere else. When Jisoo has had it, she puts down the bags and tells Songju, “Do you really have nothing to do? Carry these bags for me.”  She walks ahead leaving Songju to carry them. They’re real heavy so Songju’s really struggling but everytime Jisoo would look back, he pretends that the bags are as light as a feather. (Lol!)

 

u They enter the train and Jisoo sits first. Songju sits beside her  but Jisoo stands up to sit on the other side. Songju stands up and talks to the girl sitting beside Jisoo. He tells her that Jisoo’s her fiancée, the girl change seats with him. Jisoo stands up again and sits on the other side again. Songju does the same, this time to a lady. Jisoo surrenders and stays at that seat. Hurray for Songju! Jisoo tells him not to mess with her. Songju answers, “Are you going to scream again? Do you think I will make that same mistake?”

 

 

u Songju sees Jisoo’s necklace and was about to grabe it when Jisoo shouts, “Where are you touching me?!” , covering her uhm, front. Everyone on the train look at them. SOngju puts his arm aroung Jisoo’s shoulder and tells everyone, “We’re just having a lover’s quarrel, we’re very sorry.” He forcibly places Jisoo’s head on his shoulders and smiles at everyone. Jisoo looks so victimized. Jisoo looks at his subway ticket on his pocket and grabs it. Songju -> “Where are you touching me?!” (Lol!!!!!) Passengers turn to look at them again and Songju grabs Jisoo’s head again and places it on his shoulder. Jisoo was able to get the ticket successfully.

 

 

u Jisoo prepares a dinner for CHulsoo and he suddenly calls her on her mobile. Jisoo jokes, “The number you’re calling is no longer in service.”  On the other line, Taehwa is actually crying. (I forgot why.) Jisoo’s telling him to go home because she prepared his favorite meal. She’s like, “It’s not easy to meet a girl like me.”  TAehwa asks her if she’s happy. Ackk!! I don’t remember anymore but I know I was crying too in this scene! …because of Taehwa and Jisoo’s contradicting emotions while talking on the phone.

 

 

u Chulsoo goes home drunk. He asks Jisoo if she’s happy. Jisoo says yes, she’s happy. They clap their hands and hug. Songju’s watching them all the while.

 

 

u Jisoo goes to Chulsoo who was then painting the mural. (I love JIsoo’s spunk!)

JS: Can I go up there and try to paint?

CS: No, it's dangerous.

JS: Why? I’ve always wanted to do it. Just once. I’m going up.

Jisoo climbs up and Chulsoo scared her. CHulsoo tells her not to come anymore starting tomorrow. (Because Songju will see her) They start painting together and once again, Songju’s watching hem from the fujifilm train. (Lol.)

 

 

u Jisoo and her business are partner are out of business so they do a sale. (just to get rid of the flothes they sell.) Songju’s watching from afar and suddenly a lot of ladies come to buy from them. Jisoo sees Songju and thinks he has something to do with it. He goes to him and tells him, “You ordered them to to do all this.” Songju aks one lady if she knows him. The lady said no. (Wushu! Siya talaga may gawa non!) Songju -> “Should i pick one too? They’re not so good.”

u It was so funny when Jaehee (Jisoo’s business partner) was asking Mr. Jang (Songju’s assistant) his nationality (Mr. Jang’s answer, “American.” and then if he’s single. Mr. Jang whispers to her, “Single.” (Lol!!)

 

u Jisoo goes to meet the company’s president (she doesn’t know it’s Songju), she keeps clearing her throat to make her presence known but the guy wouldn’t face her. After a while, she turns her back heading for the door. The guy suddenly speaks, “Minus 10 points, you don’t have enough patience.” Jisoo turns again and also the guy, revealing he’s Songju!

Gathering the inevitable elements from k-dramas, I have compiled the following list.

 

1) Relationships

 

-The Truth? A love triangle is a MUST.

 

However, there are more sub-categories under love triangles.

 

--Two men- One woman= In this type of love triangles, all the guys are good-looking, professional, and wealthy.

The girl is poor but EXTREMELY pretty and innocent. Under no circumstances can the drama lack the girl nor can the guy be sub-perfect.

 

--Two girls- One man= Once again, the man is a rich heir to a massive fortune and/or company. At the very least, he is the Vice President of his father's company; always dresses in crisp suits, knows business-smarts, and is of course- handsome. Likewise, the girl is just as beautiful but POOR and innocent. The Other Girl who is about the same level as the Guy is pretty but evil and/or psychotic. For the guy, the Girl is always sacrificing herself. In the long line of K-Drama history, the Evil GIrl has never gotten the Guy.

 

(+Nowadays, the 2 Guys-2 Girl Love Quadri-angle is very popular, not to mention complex)

 

Conclusion- In the drama, the guy is always handsome, rich, AT LEAST the vice-president of a mega-conglomerate but ODDLY ENOUGH(?) he doesn't know how to be anything but KIND and LOVING toward his polar opposite: The Pretty-Innocent Girl. In one word? The Kight In Shining Armor.

 

On the other hand, the Girl is always poor, but spunky and inevitably GORGEOUS with a HIGH SENSE OF indepenence and PRIDE. Even though The Girl gets the Man (in the long history of k-dramas, this is EQUIVALENT TO THE BIG BANG THEORY), she always gets screwed by the Other-Pretty-But-Evil Girl in the middle.

 

2) Marriage

 

-There CANNOT be a marriage WITHOUT the interference/fierce opposition of the family.

 

Whether it is class differences, family problems, the marriage cannot come without a big bang in between. NOTE: The parent's opposition never lasts forever. In the end (usually 1~2 episodes before the End), they are suddenly all loving and grandmotherly without the prior b!tchiness displayed through Episodes 1~6. A story that's been more stretched out than turkey meat.

 

The rich family is the one that protests the wedding, the parents threaten to cut off all ties with their child and/or remove them from the family register.

 

In the end, they say OK.

 

3) The Man's Profession.

 

-In popular dramas, there are no middle-level management employees, no salesman, no KFC manager, and Definitly no pizza delivery guy. Their fathers are always the CEO of a huge company, and the Male Character himself is AT THE VERY LEAST Managing Director / Market Director. He is UBER-talented in his field. I wonder how many % of the world's male population fit the aforementioned qualifications. In addition, MOST of these GUYS ARE ALSO Awesome FIGHTERS.

 

Rich. Good-looking. Intelligent. Prestigious Family Background. Skilled. HAS COMPLETED COLLEGE AND/OR MBA ABROAD (99% IN AMERICA).

 

Dresses like a Model. Kind. Warm. Pure-hearted. Perfect Gentleman. CLEAN. Plays at least ONE Musical Instrument. Good at SPORTS.

 

LASTLY, although the origins are unknown, they ARE HELLA GOOD FIGHTERS.

 

4) Girl's Profession/Job.

 

-In this situation, it's not absolute, but MOST OF THEM work at the Guy's company and/or closely affiliated fields. Of course, the Guy ignores his seniority over the Girl and helps her out like a guardian angel. And although most of the Girls have a high sense of independence AND do everything there is, they rarely get any recognition for their hard work. To put it more specifically, the Woman's CLIMBING/OVERCOME OF SOCIAL OBSTACLES are not very important- at least not enough to focus on.

 

5) The Republic of Korea FIts In Buddha's Palm?!

 

-There are dozens of parks in Seoul (The 3rd most populated city in the WORLD). What is the likelihood of two people WITH DAY JOBS spotting each other like that? But against LOGIC and PROBABILITY, One of the Main Character always sees the other person WITH THE EVIL CHARACTER EVERYONE LOVES TO HATE. (In girl's case, they usually roll their huge-ass eyes with double-lids).

 

6) The extent of lovers' touching BEFORE & AFTER the conflict is resolved.

 

-While dating, it is ALWAYS a hug. After their conflict gets resolved, ALWAYS a KISS. There can be no IN-BETWEEN. In the earlier stages of their relationsihp, they are always hugging (no more, no less), but when the obstacle (whether its the EVIL 3rd Party and/or Evil-Crazy Parents), they start kissing EVEN THOUGH NO ONE TOLD THEM TO. Can't they kiss BEFORE and hug AFTER?

 

7) Cancer & Car Accidents

 

The main character ALWAYS dies of cancer. And they usually don't recover.

When the character gets cancer diagnosis, they usally think "that's it, my life is over." Especially when its the Girl, it's 99% likely cancer. 8) THE RICH CHARACTER's HOUSE IS ALWAYS 2-STORY HIGH.

 

-The Wealthy person has to live in a 2-story house. They can either live at a HUMONGOUS apartment like Tower Pellis (The Formerly Most Expensive APT in Korea, now its Hyundai I-Park -_-) Although the character can live by themselves, their family always has two stories. IT CANNOT BE 3 STORIES HIGH, ONLY 2. And even though its a huge-ass house, they never have a A/C machine (The Korean type that's shaped like a refrigerator) in the middle of summer. From the viewer's perspective, the kitchen is always to our left and the master bedroom is always to the right. The stairways is at the middle and the front door is to the right, as well.

 

AND THE RICHER THEY ARE, THE LESS LIKELY ARE THEY TO HAVE TELEVISIONS.

 

Although home theatres are the rage nowadays, it seems that the rich people don't follow that trend. On the other hand, the Girl's family usually resides in the GHETTO with long, winding roads with doors that have chipped paint.

 

9) The Must-Have: Slapping

 

For as long as I have lived, I have never BEEN slapped nor have I slapped as I have seen in k-dramas. In fact, I've never seen other people do, either. When the main character's pissed: SLAP. Unsatisfied? Slap. Fighting? Slap. Seeking revenge? Slap. [insert random emotion]? Slap.

 

As I watch k-dramas, I wonder if the roots of Korean culture lies within the Art of Slapping. Whatever the problem is, a good-ole slap can solve it. Currently, the REALISM of the slapping fascinates me. They hit hard.

 

10) The Chauffeur's NAME IS ALWAYS "KIM"/±è±â»ç

 

It's true that Kim is the most common Last Name in South Korea, but MOST, if not ALL drivers in the drama are named Kim. Can't there be a Driver Park? Driver Choi? Driver Cha? Driver Bang? Driver Lee? Driver Lim?! There are countless surnames, yet the driver must be ±è±â»ç "Driver Kim" or else. Do many Kims work in the transportation field?!

Y HUA ZE LEI (Vic Zhou) – Meteor Garden 2

-> In MG1, I liked DMS more than HZL but in the sequel, I’m so for the SC-HZL pairing. I got so mad at how DMS’ character has become and I think he didn’t deserve SC anymore because he’s hurt her too much. Meanwhile, HZL is always there for SC, he knows where she is even if she doesn’t tell him and he’s willing to be DMS’ shadow for SC. 

-> Ahhh…moments: (I don’t remember much since it’s too old) when he saved SC’s dad’s butt from being jailed because of carnapping, when he bought her flower with the first ever money he earned from working

 

 

Y “ANDREW” (Won Bin) – Autumn in my Heart

-> I liked Andrew more than Johnny because I didn’t think Song Seung-hun was attractive then. Haha. Won Bin is the first Korean actor that I found gwapo. But I’m taking that all back, I so love SSH now. I still think though that Won Bin and Song Hye-gyo looks better together.

-> Ahhh…moments: (I also don’t remember much because it’s been 1 ½ years, I think since this was shown on GMA, and I don’t watch the reruns because I don’t wake up that early, but this scene stands out from my memory) when he was talking to the phone saying everything he wants to say to Jenny but there’s actually noone on the other line. He’s just doing that because he used to talk to Jenny who works in the call center of the hotel. That scene is so good I still remember it until now.

 

 

Y DAN ZI (Blue Lan) – The Outsiders

-> Actually, I’m in a dilemma here. Because I like Yu Hao so much too!!! because he’s so gwapo, tall and astig. But you gotta love Dan Zi because he knows a lot of things about Xiao Yan Zi that Yu Hao doesn’t know. I don’t really remember now but I know that when I was hooked on this series, while everyone else are rooting for Yu Hao, cutieangel and I were cheering for Dan Zi.

-> Ahhh…moment: when he gets a call from Xiao Yan Zi when she was about to get r***d, he speeds with his bike as fast as he can to reach her immediately but he was still late. But then he found out that Panther was behind it so he avenges for Xiao Yan Zi and kills the rapist, he gets jailed for that for 4 years.

 

 

Y MAGNET (Lee Jun) – Sweet 18

-> I liked Magnet just the same as Hyuk-joon. His concern towards Jung-sook is still there even when she’s married already, he accepted that they can only be friends.

-> Ahhh…moment: he’s willing to study law as well to match up to Hyuk-joon, who’s a prosecutor.

 

 

Y DONG-JUN (Lee Hyun-woo) – Attic Cat

-> Kyung-min is such an a** so I liked chief more. (Gah, I don’t remember much!) But I remember saying while watching this series, “Ahh..love ko na si chief!” When everyone else are looking down on Jung-eun, he gave her a chance and believed in her that she can succeed.

 

 

Y SOO-HYUK (Lee Dong-gun) – Lovers in Paris

-> Ack >.< He’s my favorite O.G. ever! He’s probably the other guy who I went for 100%, as in never a time I liked the leading man Han Ki-joo. (Peace Ki-joo fans!) Even when he’s freakin pathetic and became a villain, I still loved him. He has the best lines ever, his self-pity dialogues made me cry a bucket.

-> Ahhh…moments & Memorable lines: when he followed TY to Nice; when he came back to TY’s house because he said he forgot something and asked for TY’s help to find it, TY asked what it is – “I left my heart here.”; when he got into a fight just because of TY’s brush; when he proposed to TY – “I dunno who’s in your heart, but YOU ARE IN HERE.”; when TY gave back the cellphone - “You gave back everything I gave you but I have nothing to give back to you, because I never got anything from you.” ; his “what if” scene at the hotel room (Plus a lot more, see my LIP feature for more.)

 

 

Y IN-WOOK (So Ji-sup) – What Happened in Bali

-> I just like his character that he loves SJ but can’t pursue her because he has nothing to offer her as their both poor. (I also don’t remember much.) Jae-min is also cute but he can be an ass sometimes and he thinks so low of SJ.

 

 

Y JUNG-MIN (Eric) - Firebird

-> Actually, I only liked Jung-min in the beginning but sometime in Episode 13, I shifted to Sae-hoon. If Soo-hyuk has the best line, Jung-min has the most cheesy lines ever! As in! His lines are going to make me barf! Like, “Do you smell something? My heart’s burning up.” ; “This is Heaven. Whoa. There’s evn an angel sitting in front of me.” ; “All I need is you.”; “My heartbeat stops when you don’t answer your phone immediately. You’re going to give me a heart disease.” And more…

-> Ahhh…moments: when he was first pursuing her! that was so cute! ; when he played the wedding march on his sax

 

 

Y DA YE (Xiu Jie Kai) - Mars

-> I didn’t expect that I’ll like him! I really didn’t notice him before watching Mars because it was all Zaizai but he’s actually cute. He has small eyes (Lol. I like guys with small eyes, the smaller, the cuter.) and I just thought he looks Korean. I like Da Ye because he’s had a crush on Qi Luo since high school and is just there, still hasn’t given up on her if ever Ling hurts her.

-> Ahhh…moment: when he voluntarily dropped out of the folk dance competition because of Qi Luo, when she asked why he did it, he answered, “Because it’s the only way I can be alone with you.”

 

 

Y MIN-HYUK (Kim Sung-soo) – Full House

-> He’s my latest OG. I liked him more than Bi in Full House because Young-jae is such an a**. I really hate guys like that, I mean there are guys who are such a**holes in the beginning but becomes sweet and adorable later but Young-jae kept his feelings up until the last episode! He took Ji-eun for granted so much so I hated him. Ji-eun deserved Min-hyuk more. Min-hyuk is handsome, tall, rich, smart and successful. I watched Episode 1 and I thought Min-hyuk and Ji-eun should end up together. Their first meeting in Rubina hotel was hecka funny! Oh and he speaks good English and Japanese too! I really really like him! While watching, I was like, “Oh stop smiling already! I’m gonna die right here!” As he said, he’s a busy man but he makes time for Ji-eun because he likes her. Now I’m watching the series for the 2^nd time, I fast forward all scenes except for Min-hyuk’s. Hehe.

-> Ahhh…moments: when Ji-eun was soaked in the rain and she called Min-hyuk, he comes to her with an umbrella and brings her to his home, she falls asleep and was crying, he wipes her tears away using his thumb; when he told Ji-eun that he likes her, that he never thought of the “what ifs” before but this time he does because he really likes her and that he’ll wait for her until her contract marriage is up; when he bought Ji-eun roses (he even gave her roses first than Young-jae)
