*the highlighted part is a sentence about Jo Hansun and Kang Dong-won. Woohoo!!! I translated it again using babelfish but as usual, it's barok, didn’t help much. There were many stars mentioned in this article – Jo Insung, Kim Jae Won, Kim Rae Won, Lee Dong Ook, Jeon Ji Hyun (and her movie “Windstruck”), Jang Nara plus a whole lot others. So I’m guessing these are the people who are really going to be big in 2005, the year of the Rooster. Those people I mentioned were all born in 1981, year of the rooster also. (Get it? It’s their year so they’re going to be lucky.) In the latter part of the article, some 1969ers were mentioned, I only recognized Shin Aera (wife of Cha In Pyo), 1957ers and 1945ers Korean actors, 1969, 1957 and 1945 are also years of the Rooster. Of course, don’t ask me the exact details of the article because I don’t know! I’m merely guessing what the article is about.

I’ve been lurking in his soompi thread for months but I decided to reply for the first time earlier. Everyone’s wondering what’s up with him right now. He hasn’t had any project after “Temptation of Wolves”. I read before that he’s going to do a movie with Han Ji-hye, but the soompiers in that thread are right, HJH is now doing “Boyfriend Bloodtype B” with Lee Dong-gun. Then there’s this series with Han Gain or Han Chae-young that I have read for the first time today. But the saddest thing is, he’s talking a lot about entering the army. Gah, EVERYONE’S GOING TO THE ARMY!!! Why now? He’s big in Korea right now, this is such a bummer. I heard So Ji-sup, Kim Rae-won and Lee Dong-gun are entering early next year, all of them my Korean hotties, and now Jo Hansun as well? Waah!!! I think everyone’s scared after what happened to Song Seung-hun, Jang Hyuk and Han Jae-suk. Hai…

Sandara Park, a rising Philippine-Korean star, is to debut in Korea with the help of Yang Hyun-seok, CEO of YG Entertainment. YG Entertainment said it decided to train and provide support to Sandara Park, who is currently preparing for her debut in Korea, and nurture her into a Pan-Asian star in the long-term.

 

Sandara Park came into the spotlight in Korea when she was introduced by KBS’ documentary drama “Human Theater” back in October. “Mr. Yang Hyun-seok learned about Sandara’s rising popularity when he was on a tour in Southeast Asia with Seven and other artists from his agency. The fact that Sandara is Seven’s fan also seemed to have played a part in her becoming YG’s member,” said a person close to YG Entertainment.

I was laughing when I read this, posted on the first page of the Firebird thread in soompi..i could totally relate in some…I “bolded” those applicable to me…Haha.

 

1. you must have diligently follow Bool Sae - Fire Bird since it premier or rather more then 80% of it .and you are still here to follow it to the end .   because there is nothing you can do .........you just have to .........

2. every monday and tuesday at 9 pm  , you are either glued to MBC online or glued to this crazy thread of Bool Sae - Fire Bird

3. you will be humming either the songs of Bool Sae - Fire Bird or the songs like And i love you so ..........or FLY me to the moon

those are just for junior members .now the serious cases are

*the last one is so funny – the one at the lift…because yeah, saehoon and jungmin are always in the lift together! I’m currently on ep 20 and gah, the characters just piss me off!! Except, saehoon…I love him!!!

EPISODE 18

 

 

1. (This is freakin scary!) While Qi Luo is at Sheng’s room, Ling goes to his Mom’s room. He stares at her portrait and suddenly the image of her mom in the portrait begins to turn to him. Slowly, the mom’s hand moves forward aiming for Ling. Ling steps back and then everything bursts like a bubble. Ling was just imagining it. (That was really creepy. I’ve always thought that Xiao Yan (Ling’s mom) is scary. Very Sadako-like.)

 

EPISODE 19

 

 

1. After talking to the doctor and learning the truth about his mother, Ling meets Qi Luo in a street. Both of them are very happy. They hold hands and start walking. They’re like, “Let’s walk to the end of this road.” … “Until one of us gets tired.” … Ling: “I’m pretty sure that somewhere down the road, you’ll make me carry you.”

 

 

2. Ling is choosing his wardrobe in preparation for his working at his father’s company. They settle on the outfit and Ling asks the outfit lady, “Do you have any jeans?” The outfit lady frowns. Ling: “I was just kidding!” (Hehe…cute…)

 

 

3. Ling is really tired and even sick from studying about business too much. Qi Luo and Qing Mei ask him why he’s rushing and learning everything so fast when he has still a lot of time. Ling says that he cant always humiliate his father. Qi Luo and QIng Mei smiles. (^___^ -> I’m smiling too. Because it means that Ling doesn’t want to disappoint his father anymore.)

 

 

4. Ack!!! Da Ye is so cute here! Qi Luo and Qing Mei are sitting outside a restaurant when Da Ye arrives in his new motorcycle, greeting them, “Hi!” with a super duper cute smile on his face. Really really really really really cute!!!! ^0^

 

 

5. Ling is so gorgeous here, running on a street, wearing a suit! Hot! *drool*

 

 

6. One of their friends (I forgot her name, SHE LOOKS LIKE CHAE RIM THOUGH) has a problem and while everyone’s agonizing, Da Ye arrives with an entrance -> “Here’s the independent, roaming-lively Da Ye.” while pointing to himself. (I so swear Da Ye doesn’t appear much during the last episodes but everytime he would, he’s always making me laugh my head off.) Ling takes his bike to help their friend. Of course, Da Ye’s like, “No, my motorcycle is new!” But Ling doesn’t listen and take the bike anyways. Da Ye sent him off with “Be careful with my new motorcycle.” Worry shown all over his face.

 

 

7. After Ling got their friend’s application form, he calls Qi Luo,

Qi Luo: Ling, blah blah blah blah…

Da Ye: How’s my motorcycle?

Qi Luo: Ling, blah blah blah blah…

Da Ye: What about my new motorcycle?

Qi Luo: Ling, blah blah blah blah…

Da Ye: How’s my new motorcycle? (Ang kulit!!!)

 

EPISODE 20

 

 

1. Ching Zhi (Ling’s father) fires him. Ling is more than happy about the news. I bet he’s the only guy in the world who’s crazily happy after getting fired. It’s because his father gave him the permission to do and be whatever he wants. In short, he’s free. Chong Zhi asks him why he’s like that. Ling: “Maybe because I’m stupid.”

 

 

2. Ling and Qi Luo lets Teacher Shi know that they’re getting married. (Hahaha…) Teacher Shi’s like, “Ling, you cant even take care of yourself and now you’re dragging Qi Luo’s future down the drain?” (Teacher Shi is so cute!) Ling’s answer: “You can’t do anything, she loves me.” (Hehehe…)

 

 

3. Ling says goodbye to his schoolmates in a very muhshesuh manner.

 

 

4. Qi Luo, Qing Mei, Da Ye, Ah Jen and their Chae Rim look-alike friend are drinking, they’re waiting for Ling to come back. Qing Mei is asking why Ling hasn’t come back yet. Da Ye goes, “It’s okay, we can drink more without him.” (Lol.)

EPISODE 21

 

 

1. Ling was stabbed by Tong Dao and was limping, he calls Qi Luo’s name softly. Meanwhile, in their apartment, Qi Luo, who was waiting for Ling to come back, seems to have heard Ling call her name so she’s like, “Ling’s here.” But when she looks at the door, Ling isn’t there. But Qi Luo really thinks she heard him.

 

 

2. They were really getting impatient and wondering why Ling hasn’t arrived yet. The funny part:

Ah Jen: Maybe Ling forgot about the time because he was reading free books at the convenience store.

Qing Mei: Ei, you think everyone’s like you?

 

 

3. I just think that Barbie acted very well in this scene when Da Ye was telling her what happened when he reached Ling and Qi Luo was just listening to him, teary-eyed and silent. But when she started acting hysterical…back to not liking her acting. I just hate it when Barbie is hysterical, it sort of turns into a comedy, IMO.

 

 

4. SHeng (Yup, Ling’s dead borther SHeng) arrives at the hospital and Qi Luo sees him. Sheng is there to “fetch” Ling. Qi Luo is like, “No! Don’t take Ling away!” She cannot do anything because SHeng could pass thorugh doors she couldn’t. (Barbie looks comedy here again, I just dunno why.)

 

 

5. Actually, this scene is so corny but it’s a highlight so might as well include it. Ling is kind of torn where to go, to go with his dead brother Sheng (he was hanging by the edge of the rooftop, holding out his hand for Ling to take it) or Qi Luo who’s waiting for him to wake up. He chooses Qi Luo and she comes and extends her hand to get him to the “safe side”.

 

 

6. Back to reality, they’re still hoding each other’s hands. Ling wakes up and asks, “Am I dead or am I alive?” Qi Luo answers he is and kissed his face. (I must say, it was sweet.)

 

 

7. I almost cried in this scene! Ling says sorry to his dad, err, actually uncle for all the things he did. I loved it when he said, “For over 10 years, no one has told you that.” (I really feel for the old man, he really deserved it, he’s actually the unfortunate one here, his wife having twins with his own brother plus his wife ruined him in front of the twins eyes making Ling hate himfor 20 years of his life. Ah basta…)

 

 

8. A year later, the Mars painting has Ling’s dad’s office (okay, I’m just gonna call him dad, not uncle) as its new house.  It was so cute when dad asked Ling when he and Qi Luo plan to have kids because he wants to have  grandchildren already. Ling’s like, “Do you think it’s that easy to make kids? Do you think we’re dogs?” (Hehehehe…)

 

 

9. Qi Luo was drawing and Ling asks what the title is. Qi Luo answers, “Father and Son.” -> pertaining to Ling and his dad. (I so guessed it.)

 

 

10. Ling finally reads Sheng’s suicide letter and tells him after burning it, “I’ll be reporting to you sooner or later, but I may be an old fellow then.”

 

 

11. This is the super ending. Tong Dao about to draw when a girl comes and helps him draw. I didn’t really get it.

EPISODE 15

 

 

1. Qiluo, Daye, and Qingmei were waiting for Ling in the fastfood place where Qing Mei works. They’re talking about Qi Luo’s moving back with her stepfather who raped her when she was 16. Ling arrives.

Ling: "Wei, what are you three talking secretly, saying something bad of me?" 

Da Ye: "No, we aren't talking something bad of you?" 

Ling: "Why are you so nervous?  something fishy...Are you hiding something from me?"

Da Ye: "Yes."

Qing Mei: "No."  -> at the same then look at each other.

Ling: "Lunatics.” 

Ling starts asking Qi Luo about her moving so she comes clean. Ling gets mad and they fight about it. Ling suggest that they live together but Qi Luo opposes to it because she can’t leave her mom. Ling gets mad and leaves Qi Luo crying. They break up.

 

 

2. Qi Luo was waiting outside Ling’s apartment for a long time while Ling’s out with some girl. Ling arrives at his apartment, Ah Jen tells him that Qi Luo waited for him for hours and she just left. Ling rushes to the subway station only to find the gate rolled down. Ling turns to leave when he sees Qi Luo watching him. Qi Luo walks up the steps.

Ling: "Why are you still here?" 

Qi Luo: "I forgot to bring money."  (WTF? So she just ran everywhere? From school to Ling’s place then to the subway station?)

"In your heart, are all men the same?  Am I about the same as your stepfather?  We're all punks who just want to take you." 

Qi Luo: "Ling, I gave you my first kiss. My heart had never jumped so fast.  I have encountered that kind of thing, but I had never kissed before.  Because it's you, I feel very safe.  Because it's you, I anticipate it a lot.  Because of your existence, I have the courage to go back to the home that scares me.  I make sure that I will cherish myself for you." 

Ling walks forward and hugs Qiluo tightly.

 

 

3. Just because Da Ye looks so cute in tha white helmet!!!

 

EPISODE 16

 

 

1. Qi Luo runs away from home and stays at Ling’s apartment. After finishing shower, she realizes that she lost Ling’s bracelet so she calls him. Ling’s like, “I thought it was something important. Instead, you…put some clothes on first.” (Ahehehehehehe…. ^_^)

 

 

2. Ling tells Qi Luo that she sleep in his apartment while he’ll sleep at Ah Jen’s.

Qi Luo: "Don't go."

Ling: "After all I'm a man. I don't want to see you suffer any more. No matter how much I love you, I don't want it to end up that I'm doing things no different than that guy. I don't want to hurt you." (Sweet!)

 

 

3. Qi Luo sort of gives Ling the signal that she’s ready to do it. Ling starts kissing Qiluo and then they go to bed. (Man, why am I still narrating this? You know what happens next right?) They share their first night together and Qi Luo tells Ling that she loves him.

 

 

4. The next morning, Qing Mei arrives at Ling’s apartment bringing her clothes to lend to Qi Luo. (This is freaken funny!)

Qing Mei:  "Han Qiluo. Chen Ling. Open the door. Hurry up."

Ling opens the door.

Ling: "You've brought the clothes over. Give them to me."

Qing Mei:  "These clothes are mine. I'll give them to her myself."

Qingmei tries to peek inside. Ling moves sideway to block her view.

Ling:"I can give them to her. Give them to me."

Qing Mei:  "What is it? Let me take a look."

Ling:"Give them to me."

Ling continues to block Qing Mei.

Qing Mei:  "Why are you doing this? It's not as if I had never been here. I've been to here many times."

Qing Mei jumps to take a peek inside.

Ling:"I'll help you to give them to her."

Qing Mei:  "Let me take a look."

Ling:"Let me give them to her."

Qing Mei:  "Why? Does she have no clothes to wear or is she not wearing clothes?"

Ling: "You think too much. Give them to me. Give them to me. It's okay just giving them to me. I'll give them to her."

Qing Mei manages to slip through the space under Ling’s arm and gets inside the apartment. Ling shuts the door fast.

Qing Mei:  "Han Qiluo, you're not wearing any clothes."

 

 

5. So Qi Luo and Ling live together while Ling works at the contruction site. Many scenes of Qi Luo waking Ling up. (So cute!) It’s so cute when Qi Luo wakes him up one morning and Ling’s like, “Give me a kiss.” He pulls his body up and pouts his lips. Qi Luo pushes him back and says, "No. You haven't brushed your teeth." Also, when Ling was gonna go to work and Qi Luo calls him back. Ling walks back to her and tries to kiss her. Qi Luo -> “No, it’s not that. Your lunch box.” After she hands him his lunch box, he kisses her before walking out. (Ang dami talagang kissing scenes! I think this is the 11^th!)

 

 

6. Ling opens his lunch box that Qi Luo prepared for him. It was so cute that he keeps on smiling even while eating it.

 

 

7. when Ling hugs  Qi Luo too tight that he doesn’t want to let go.

 

 

8. Ling and Qi Luo are hiding at a hotel room after what happened involving Qi Luo’s stepdad. It was supposed to be serious but I was laughing when Ling was saying, "Kidnap, assault, attempted murder. At least locked up for 7 to 8 years." It sounds so comedy!

 

 

9. Ling was sleeping in the hotel room, Qi Luo feels guilty that Ling is dragged in her own problem. She tells him a fairytale. (I’m so touched with this story too.) "Ling, have you heard of a fairy tale? There was a young-man tree and a young-girl tree in a forest. They loved each other but they were located in the opposite parts of the forest. No matter how hard they tried, they could never touch each other's bodies. But when the wind blew, their branches would move with wind. But the young-girl tree still felt very lonely. Later, there was a big fire in the forest. They both died in the blaze and burned to ashes. Their smokes flew lightly into the air. But the young-girl tree felt very happy. Because they finally could be forever together. When I heard the story, my heart broke and cried nonstoppingly. But now I'm so envious of them." Qi Luo kisses Ling goodbye.

 

 

10. Ling goes to his dad’s company but he was stopped by the guards. He was struggling when Fang Min arrives and tells the guards that he is the President’s son. Before coming up, Ling shouts, "Your salaries will all be reduced!" (I dunno, that souned funny to me. Hehe.)

 

EPISODE 17

 

 

1. Ling rushes to Qi Luo’s house, Qi Luo’s mother opens the door.

Ling: "Aunt. I'm sorry to disturb you. I'm here to apologize. Previously I was cocky and did a lot of not so good things and caused you a lot of troubles. Please forgive me. There's one more thing. I hope you will grant my wish. Although now I'm not qualified and can't guarantee anything."

Qi Luo runs downstairs.

Ling: "I don't have anything to be proud of. But starting from today, I'll stay by my father's side and start learning everything from scratch. I'll work hard to let other people recognize me. I'll work hard so other people look at me positively. So, please let me marry Qiluo. I will make her happy." (This is the first time I cried in this entire series. T_T)

Qi Luo runs to the front of Ling, sees Ling and hugs him. Ling hugs her back and looks at Qi Luo’s mother.

Qi Luo’s Mom: "Please take good care of my daughter." (Ahhh.. *sniffs*)

 

 

2. Mom sends Qi Luo out while Ling waits for her. Mom says her last words to Qi Luo, "I've always wanted to say something to you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't take good care of you and made you live this kind of life. I even pretended I didn't know anything at all. I'm sorry. Qiluo, promise me. After you leave here, you must live happily. Okay." Her mother is sobbing and so is Qi Luo. Theu hug while crying. (I’’m crying too… *sniffs*)

 

 

3. Qi Luo asks Ling what kind of person his father is. I just thought it was funny how Ling was describing his father.

Ling: "Very dislikable. No matter what happens, how terrible it is, he's always very calm. He always strikes people right where it hurts. He is cruel and not likable and very self-important. These are the adjectives that I can think of." (Hai Ling…You’re too cute!)

Qi Luo: "Why does it sound very terrifying?"

Ling:"Because he's such a person."

Qi Luo: "But he has to manage such a big business. He can't manage it just being a nice guy."

Ling: "Why are you lobbying for him?" (while poking Qiluo's forehead) (It’s so cute when Ling does that!)

 

 

4. The owner of the Japanese resto (It’s YU SAO from MG1!!!!) She recognizes Ling from his twin brother.

Owner: "Isn't he the one very energetic? Aiyo, he's completely different from his younger bother. The younger brother is much quieter. He was very well-behaved. This young master was fun. He played everywhere and got himself in trouble everywhere. Once he poked all the paper windows on the doors, I almost couldn't open for business the next day. Ha Ha Ha Ha”

Ling: (who had a very funny facial expression while the owner was blaberring) "Obaa-san, shouldn't you go next door to welcome other guests?"

 

 

5. Ling walks out of the room and Qi Luo follows him in the restaurant hallway. She was calling him and apologixing when Ling suddenly cuts her, “Listen. My stomach is grumbling. I'm so hungry." (Lol!!! Just when you thought he’ll say something serious. =_+)

EPISODE 12

 

 

1. Ling and Qi Luo fought the previous night so the following day on campus, Ling was waiting for Qi Luo. He walks to her when she arrives in school.

Ling: "Can we not quarrel?" (Qi Luo -> quiet) "I couldn't sleep the whole night last night. My tummy hurt and my head ached. Why was it like that? I never thought this could happen. I never used to be like that. After quarrelling with you, my whole body just felt wrong. I even bumped my head for no reason at all when I walked?" (Lol. Qi Luo couldn't help but smile.) "Moreover, I've found a new job with the fastest speed. And I guarantee that no matter what happens in the future, I'll always tell you first. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for those stupid words that I said. Hug me a little bit." (That was so cute. >.<)

They hug.

 

 

2. Ling and Qiluo were sitting on the steps. They’re talking about Tong Dao, Ling’s like, “You’re jealous, aren’t you? He’s a guy!” Qi Luo wants to defend herself but she cant seem to think of any excuse because she’s guilty, she’s jealous. Ling -> "Let me tell you. Even if all the girls in the world have died, I will not get involved with him. Moreover, if I'm with him, who knows some day my head might get cut off by him unknowingly. Moreover, don't get jealousy without any reason." Ling says this pointing to Qi Luo’s head. (This scene is cute too.)

 

 

3. Ling was taking a nap in the art studio. Tong Dao comes in and tries to kiss Ling. Ling opens his eyes.

Ling: "I'm not Qingmu."

Tong Dao: "So you weren't really sleeping."

 

 

4. Tong Dao begins to talk about his philosophis in life while Ling just listens. (Come to think about it, Tong Dao’s actually right, IMO, if we’ll only face the truth.) Ling goes. "Have you read too many books that you should not have read?" (Lol!!)

 

 

5. Ling turns to Tong Dao and looks at his neck. He touches his chin. (Hey, nothing perv! -_-)

Ling: "What a slender neck. It should take only one hand." Ling said.

Ling grabs Tongdao's neck, pushes him to the ground and strangles him. Tong Dao struggles and kicks his legs but he cant seem to get away from Ling’s grasp.

Ling: "Was it very happy to see other people on the verge of dying? Why don't you try it, experiencing the moment you're dying. How is it? It's very uncomfortable, isn't it? All the pores of your body open up. You break out a cold sweat. Your vision gets more and more blurred. You gradually can't hear any voice. So you're afraid of dying! You're too selfish, aren't you? It's okay that other people die. But, you don't want to play when you're the one to die. But it doesn't matter. Don't worry. It's very quick. Dying or not will soon not be a concern of yours. In a few more minutes, your body will gradually lose its conscience." (Ling is scary!)

Tong Dao’s kicking slows down. A mug (containing brushes and pencils) falls to the ground and wakes up Ling. He loosens his grip and lets go of Tong Dao.

 

 

6. Da Ye and Ling are walking up the stairs.

Da Ye: "You come to school so early. It looks like that nature is striking back. All regular things have become irregular."

Ling: "Have you eaten too much of Qingmei's saliva? Your tone is as bad as hers." (mwehehe…)

Da Ye: "Wei, you looked very tired. Have you made progress with Qiluo?" (WTF?)

Ling shakes his head.

Da Ye: "Still no. What happened to you two?"

Tong Dao climbs past them and greets Ling.

Da Ye: "Wei Wei. You haven't had any strange relationship with him, have you?" (Ahaha…)

Ling:"Me. And him. Am I so much like an animal in your mind, something like that also works for me?"

Da Ye: "Yeah."

Ling:"You really look down on me!"

Da Ye: "Okay. Okay. Wei. Okay. Okay. Why are you so narrow-minded?"

 

 

7. Ling was looking at Qiluo's high school yearbook. He sees Da Ye and criticizes him. (Hehe.) He then looks for Qi Luo. Ling’s cute when he was skimming through the yearbook and saying, “Ni qu na li, Qi Luo…”

 

 

8. Qiluo was lying in bed. Ling’s sititng by her beside.

Qi Luo: "Will you stay with me? I'm scared. I'm scared to be alone in the room. I will feel there's sound in the room as if someone tried to sneak into the room. Very stupid."

Ling: "So my Qiluo is a kid who's afraid of dark. Don't worry. Sleep in ease. I've already taken the night off."

Qi Luo: (holding Ling’s hands) “Ling, I like you."

Ling smiles. (Diba he’s doubting if Qi Luo likes him because she wont sleep with him, but then he’s assured of her feelings in this scene.)

 

 

9. Ling was eating breakfast, leaning against a railing. Tong Dao comes and stands beside him.

Ling:"Can you stop bothering me all the time?"

Tong Dao: "Why do you dislike me so much? Or are you afraid of me?"

Ling: "I think I'm afraid. No, I'm not afraid of you. What I'm afraid is that I’ll lose something I cherish most because of you. Now I've found something I want to protect. I've found someone I don't want to lose. If you want to call it being weak, I don't care. I don't really want people to think I'm very strong. I don't want to pretend I'm very strong, either. It's such a boring game, play it by yourself. Don't bother me any more." (That’s so sweet!)

 

 

10. In Tongdao's room (Me -> WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WATCHING???) He’s holding a knife and looking at Qi Luo’s picture.

 

 

11. Qi Luo tells Qing Mei that she doesn’t think she can go to a graduate school because of financial problems in her family. Qing Mei suddenly says, "You can marry Ling."

 

 

12. Ling and Officer Tian are talking.

Ling: "But recently, I've finally understood something. It's not bad to have something to protect. Before I always thought that only people who have nothing can become strong. But now I've found out that having someone to protect makes you learn the true meaning of being strong."

 

EPISODE 13

 

* no pictures in most of the scenes because episodes 13 and 14 wouldn’t play in my WMP. The pics in some of the scenes, I got them from the OBB and from the bonus cd. This is the best part pa naman, bummer! Hehe.

 

1. when Ling and Tong Dao are standing at the edge of the rooftop. That was just too dangerous!

 

 

2. Tong Dao’s walking around the escalator area when some girl bumps into him from behind. The girl apologizes but didn’t really stop to look at him. Tong Dao pushes her down the escalator. People riding on the escalator starts rolling down the moving stairs like DOMINOS.  Tongdao watches them and seems amused.  

 

3. when Ling and Qi Luo gets intimate but Qi Luo’s stepfather raoing her flashes through her mind so she pushes Ling away.

 

 

4. Ling calls Qi Luo to his apartment. Qi Luo arrives with food and fixes them in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Ling goes to the door, closes it and locks it. He then walks towards Qi Luo and embraces her from behind. He starts kissing her while Qi Luo asks him to stop. She tries to untangle Ling’s hands but Ling wouldn’t budge. Ling pushes Qi Luo to the bed, continues kissing her while Qi Luo continues to struggle. Qi Luo cries and starts screaming so Ling stops. Qi Luo gets out of the bed and heads to the door. She opens it but it wouldn’t open. Ling catches up with her turns her around to face him. Qi Luo just keeps screaming and crying. She slids down to the floor and covers her face. Ling hugs her and tells her, “"I know it now.  Qiluo.  I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I won't do it any more.  Qiluo.  Qiluo." 

 

EPISODE 14

 

1. After Qi Luo told Ling what happened, Ling cries in his apartment with Qi Luo gone.

 

2. Teacher Shi's was teaching the class. Ling somes to class, looking around. Ling walks towards Qi Luo’s seat and pulls her to leave with him. Teacher Shi yells that it’s classtime, he showuldnt be doing that. Ling -> "I'm sorry, Teacher Shi.  Now I've something more important to do than attending a class.  If you absolutely have to scold me, I listen to it when I'm back." 

 

3. Ling and Qi Luo go to a beach.

Qi Luo: "It seems extravagant to discuss breaking up at such a place." 

Ling: "Why?"

Qi Luo: "It's because I have to make many connections to be back to the starting point."

Ling: "What I mean is why we have to break up." 

Qi Luo: "Because I'm not suitable for falling in love... Because I'm not normal...  Because you can no longer look at me like you used to." 

Ling: "What a coincidence!  I'm also not a normal person. To tell you the truth, I don't really understand your feelings. But I won't ask you to forget it instantly because I know it isn't that easy to forget. Those words telling people to forget are all bullsh*ts. What I want to tell you is that no matter what you have done, no matter what has happened to you, you always remain the same in my heart.  You've never changed. We each started from our respective tragedy and then we met.  We can feel each other by just one look.  Unless we hold hand in hand, we will both lose the courage to walk out of the tragedies. So, why do we want to break up?" 

 

 

4. Ling kisses Qiluo who was crying.  Qi Luo leans against Ling and sneezes on his sleeve. (Lol.) Ling hugs her.

Qi Luo: "You are the first man whom I don't feel afraid of. You definitely have forgotten it.  When I just entered the college, you already talked to me."  

Qiluo tells Ling the first time they met.

Qi Luo: "It rained heavily that day.  I accidentally dropped the key ring into a ditch.  I didn't know what to do.  You appeared suddenly and got it out for me as if we had known each other very well."

Ling: "How come I don't remember it at all?  Did I try to pick you up at that time?"

Qi Luo: "No.  At the time, you only said, "Can you loan me some money?"

Ling:"That can't be."

Qi Luo nods.

Qi Luo: "Then you took one thousand dollars from me." 

Ling laughs embarrassingly.

Ling: "I must have not paid you back the money. Right?" 

Qiluo nods.

Ling:"Aiyou.  How embarrassing!" 

Ling covers his face.

 

 

5. Ling and Qi Luo build a sand castle with 2 kids they saw at the beach. I just love the part when Qi Luo ties Ling’s hair into a ponytail.

 

6. Flashback of when Ling and Qi Luo first met each other.

 

7. In the guidance office, Qi Luo and Ling are writing an apology letter infront of Teacher Shi. Qi Luo doesn’t know how to write on so she asks Ling. (This is so funny. It’s always funny when it involves Ling and Teacher Shi.)

Qi Luo: "Ling, how to write it?"

Ling: "Just say you regret it very much.  You will never do it again.  Just remember, the more sincere, the better is. Moreover, add one more thing, When the mid-terms exams come, you'll strenuous hard to prepare for them."

Teacher Shi: "Chen Ling, why don’t you just write a book teaching people how to write penitential reports?" (Ling, you should be happy! You now have a future!)

The two finishes their apology letter and go outside.

Ling: "Stupid.  You don't even know how to write a penitential report." 

Ling and Qiluo walk away when Teacher Shi opens the door and calls Qi Luo.

Teacher Shi: "Han Qiluo. I forgot to tell you.  A woman's life happiness depends on the man she chooses.  You must choose your boyfriend wisely. Chen Ling, do you understand?" 

Teacher Shi closes the door again.

Qi Luo: "Choose your boyfriend wisely.” (repeating to Ling what Teacher said while laughing.)

Ling: "What's that about?"  (Ling’s so cute!)

 

8. Qi Luo tells Ling that the weather is good so they should go out with Qing Mei and Da Ye. Ling suggests swimming. QI Luo -> “No, I don’t know how to swim.” Next scene -> 4 of them at the beach! Lol!

 

9. Ling brings Qi Luo home. She runs to her apartment when Ling calls her and asks her to give him a kiss. She runs back to give Ling a goodnight kiss. Ling pulls her close, hugs her and tells her -> “I Love You.” (Ahhh…)

 

EPISODE 9

 

 

-> Ling is absent from school after the incident with Sha Zhi so Qi Luo goes to his apartment. She finds him lying on his bed. She wakes up, the first thing Ling said to her -> “How come you’re here?” then closing his eyes thereafter. (Hehe.) Qi Luo feels her forehead and finds out he caught a fever.  

Qi Luo: “Is there any hospital around here? I'm taking you to see a doctor. Okay?"

Ling: "Are you kidding? I hate doctors the most and you're telling me to see a doctor. I'm fine. All I need is to rest for a night."

Qi Luo: "But you're sick and alone. You need someone to take care of you. How about I ask Shazhi to come over?"

Ling: "Shazhi. If she comes, my temperature would get even higher. She doesn't know how to take care of people." (Ling, you’re too cute!! Parang puro cute nasasabi ko!)

 

 

-> Qi Luo calls her Mom saying she’s sleeping over at Qing Mei’s so that she could take care of Ling. She goes grocery-shopping for him and stays by his bedside. The following morning, she find himself on Ling’s bed. Qi Luo is confused and asks Ling if he can get up already.

Ling: "Um. Didn't I say I'd be fine after one night of sleep?"

Qi Luo: "The person who carried me to the bed was ...”

Ling: "Otherwise, you probably would be a goner too after sitting and sleeping the whole night like that."

Qi Luo: "Wei. Let me tell you beforehand. All I did was to carry you to the bed to sleep. I didn't do anything else. I'm not that strong. He He He." (Naughty.)

 

 

-> Ling is going through the things that Qi Luo bought for him.

Ling: "What are these pots, pans, spoons, and bowls all about? Now you've made me penniless. How am I going to live?"

Qi Luo: "I was afraid you might wake up in the middle of night and get hungry. I wanted to cook some food for you. But you didn't have anything here. So... Anyway these are all useful things. I have bought a lot of food. What would you like to eat? I can make it."

Ling: "Is that right? Then, I want steak."

Qi Luo: (shaking her head) "No."

Ling: "Hamburger will do."

Qi Luo: "No."

Ling: "Tempura." Ling said.

Qiluo shakes her head.

Ling: "What can you cook after all?"

Qi Luo: "Omelet with rice."

Ling: "Why didn't you just say so earlier?" (Funny.)

 

 

-> Qiluo put the finished omelet on the table in front of Ling. Ling comments, "Wow. It's so cute." (Let’s do a Rainie Yang here -> “Hao ke ai wo!” Kita naman sa pic diba? The presentation was really cute.) Ling picks out a piece of hot dog. Ling -> "What a small sausage!" (Wala lang, cute kase ni ZZ dito.) Qi Luo interrupts him while eating.

Qi Luo: "As long as you like it. After you finish the dish, can we go out a little bit?"

Ling: "Um. Why?"

Qi Luo: "Because I haven't gone to the rest room since last night."

Ling turns to look at the open toilet area.

Ling: (laughing) "Okay. I understand. Sorry."

 

 

-> Ling and Qi Luo talk about Ling’s parents and Ling finds himself crying.

Ling: "Don't look."

Qi Luo stands up to hug him.

Qi Luo: (crying and hugging Ling) "It's okay. Go ahead and cry. Don't suppress yourself. It's a very natural thing."

Ling: "But it's already too late. No matter how many tears I shed, it won't change anything and couldn't bring anything back. Sheng will never come back. I can never even hear his voice. It's too late."

 

 

-> Ling and Qi Luo just come out of a convenience store.

Ling: "Both our eyes are so swollen. People who don't know might think we're lovers after a fight."

Qi Luo: "Yeah. We don't look like brother and sister."

 

 

 

-> At a subway station, Qi Luo is going home.

Ling: "Sorry. I've troubled you so much for these two days. Thank you."

Qi Luo: "Don't mention it. Bye Bye."

Qi Luo goes to the automatic ticket gate.

Qi Luo: (turning back to Ling) "Um... Can you kiss me? What I mean is the kind of kiss between friends in foreign countries." (Remember when they kissed for the first time and Ling wants to retract it because of Da Ye, he told Qi Luo that in other countries, friends kiss like that.)

Ling walks to Qi Luo and kissed her. (I love this scene!)

 

 

-> Qing Mei and Qi Luo are talking.

Qing Mei: "Are you an idiot? Spend the night at Ling's apartment and all you did was cooking for him and taking care of him. Aren't you becoming a true convenience store?" (Haha. Qing Mei…)

 

EPISODE 10

 

 

1. In Teacher Shi's class, Teacher Shi was teaching when Ling arrives late and walks past him. Teacher Shi -> "Chen Ling. Do you think you're invisible?" Ling alibis that he had his stitches removed that’s why he’s late. Ling walks to his seat and talks to Da Ye.

Ling: "Hey, where are we? Can I borrow your textbook, I didn't bring mine?"

Da Ye: "Idiot. You're here to sleep. Why do you need the textbook?"

Ling: “Sleep. You think I sleep every class. Anyway, Hasn't Teacher Shi taught you? You should give more encouragements to student who went astray but are now striving hard."

Teacher Shi hears them talking and calls Chen Ling. (I love it when Teacher Shi calls “Chen Ling”, there’s a certain tone to it that’s very cute. Gosh, what am I saying?)

Teacher Shi: "Do you think I'm deaf? Can you lower your voice while we're in class? Strange. Every time you come to the class, I can't teach."

Ling: "Hey. What's going on? The whole class worked with the teacher to bully me. Do you actually want to bully an aspiring young man who intends to get back on his feet?"

Ling stands up and the whole class laughs.

Da Ye: "Which part of you wants to stand up? Sit down."

Ling stands still. Daye slaps his hand and tells him to sit down. Ling sits. Teacher Shi smiles.

 

 

2. After class, Qing Mei is watching Ling and Qi Luo. Da Ye appears from somewhere. They talk about what’s gonna happen to those two, what if they break up, if Da Ye will pursue Qi Luo again and so is Qing Mei to Ling. (Love this scene because it’s the start of the Qing Mei-Da Ye thing, I just wished they paid more attention to their story. The series focused too much on Ling and Qi LUo, I like it when there’s a story too on the supporting characters, as a breather from the drama happening on the main characters.)

Qing Mei: “It’s unlikely Ling will like me at all.  I'm neither as independent and strong as Qiluo nor as adorable as Shazhi.  In a nutshell, I'm not cute." 

Da Ye: "Who says that?  I think you're quite cute." 

Qing Mei: "I'm cute?  Really? Which parts?" 

Da Ye: "When you scold people as if scolding dogs, you look quite cute."

Qing Mei: "You're belittling me!" 

Da Ye: "I mean it.  You've an honest and genuine personality.  When you're angry, you show it.  When you’re happy, you show it too.  It's what being cute is about." 

Qing Mei: "You're really not good at words.  No wonder Qiluo doesn't like you." 

 

 

3. Ling breaks it off officially with Sha Zhi. He goes to meet Sha Zhi to talk to her while Qi Luo waits for him at some bench. Ling says he’s piece and tells Sha Zhi that he has to leave because Qi Luo is waiting for him.

Ling: "Qiluo is waiting for me.  If I don't hurry up and go back, I feel that she's about to cry." 

Sha Zhi: (stretches her hand to stop Ling) "I'm the one who would cry." 

Ling: "Previously when you or Sheng cried, I would risk my life to eliminate the sources that made you two cry.  Qiluo also cried.  But do you know? When she cried, I just felt helpless and didn't know what to do.  I'm not kidding.  At those times, even I felt like crying." (Aww…)

Sha Zhi: "You're only worried about her crying, aren't you?"

Ling: "Shazhi, there's someone in this world, and I believe there's such a person who will be so very important to you. I hope you can find him soon because I've found mine.  Goodbye." (Another aww…)

Ling leaves Sha Zhi sitting alone.

Sha Zhi: (crying) "I've known it since the first day I saw Qiluo.  I know it.  I know that I've really lost you." 

 

 

4. Ling teachers Qi Luo how to ride a bike. Qi Luo asks if there’s anything else she needs to watch out for. Ling -> "What else? Make sure you don't ride into the river." (Ahaha…)

 

Qi Luo starts riding while Ling just watches her at the back.

Qi Luo: "Ling, the bike is moving forward." (Haha..this is one of the scenes that I actually enjoyed Qi Luo, most of the time, she’s damn boring.)

Ling: "You fool. Instead of moving forward, isn't it strange if it moves backward?" (Lol!)

Qi Luo: "How come the river is coming closer and closer to me?"

Ling: "You're moving toward the river, aren't you?"

Qi Luo: "Ling, the river is flowing in my direction." (Lol! Blame it on the river?!?!?)

Ling runs after the bike while yelling to Qi Luo to brake it. On his way, he picks up a stick and throws it to the back wheel to stop the bike. The bike halts and Qi Luo falls off and slids down the slope of the river bank. Ling grabs her hand and pulls her up to the grass field.

 

After the incident, Ling and Qi Luo talk about Teacher Lili’s wanting to put Qi Luo’s painting next to hers at an exhibit. Ling tells her that Teacher Lili might be doing it for her own sake not Qi Luo. Qi Luo says it’s as if he’s saying that Teacher Lili is bad.

Ling: "Yeah. I'm a bad guy."

Qi Luo: "No. You're a good guy."

Ling: "Am I?"

Qi Luo: "At least for me, you are. There's no one in this world nicer than you."

They hug.

 

 

5. Qi Luo tells Ling that there was an uncle who inquired about her MARS painting. (This uncle is related to Ling, we find out about it on later episodes but it’s actually easy to guess.) This is cute because Ling’s jealous when Qi Luo talks of the uncle so nicely.

Ling: "Why didn't I find out you were also interested in uncle-kind of men? How about that? You go and seek out that gentleman and date with him." (Ahaha..jealous…)

Qi Luo: "What are you talking? Are you angry?"

Ling: "Why should I get angry? I don't have any suit. I have never sprayed cologne. The smell on my body at most is gasoline."

Qi Luo: "Don't get angry. Are you jealousy? I like the smell of gasoline on your body." (This sounds so pervy. Lol.)

Qiluo starts playing Ling's hair. Ling starts kissing Qiluo. Qi Luo gets terrified so Ling releases her. Qi Luo changes the topic quick asking what he wants to eat. She says she’s going shopping and rushes out. Ling, after Qi Luo has left ->"Actually, what I'd like to eat is you." (I wonder how GMA is going to translate this. Man, I just wish they don’t cut it.)

 

 

6. Ling confides to Da Ye as to what’s going on between him and Qi Luo. (Ack!!! Both Ling and Da Ye are hecka cute in this scene. Ling’s facial expressions are so cute!) Da Ye’s first reaction? LAUGH AT LING! HAHAHAHA…

Da Ye: "Hey. Indeed Qiluo is like that. But you... I don't understand it. When have you become so prudent and cautious?"

Ling: "There is a beam of light. A beam of light shooting in my direction."

Da Ye: "Light?"

Ling: "There is always a beam of no-no light coming out of her eyes. Every time I meet the beams of light, it freezes all my passion. Even I'm losing almost all of my self-confidence!" (:P)

Da Ye: "Hey. Probably you're too impatient. Qiluo is not like you. This is her first time. You can't come on every time like that."

Ling: "Impatient? Do you really think I'm an animal?" (Oh Ling, you are!)

Da Ye: "I've never thought you as a human being. Tell me yourself. Before you met Qiluo, do you even know how many women have you slept with?"

Ling looks lost.

Da Ye: "Difficult, isn't it? So, now it's the time for you to suffer a little bit as you were so easy before. Yeah. Bravo! Qiluo. Avenge for women."

Daye claps his hands. (Lol, Daye, you’re too cute!)

Ling: "Stop humiliating me, Daye. I'm telling you. Regardless whether I was an animal before, but what I have for Qiluo... is love. Do you know what love is? When you're in love with someone, you can't help feel like hugging her, kissing her. This is something very natural. Do you understand it or not?"

Da Ye: (smiles happily) "I understand. Two people fall in love. He He.” (Da Ye sounds so dorky with the Hehe part at the end of his sentence. Lol.)

Ling: "Why are you being so high?"

Da Ye: "Nothing. Hey. In fact... In fact... that... with Qingmei, we already..."

Ling laughs hysterically.

Da Ye: "Why are you laughing? I tell you. Don't say a thing."

Ling gestures to zip his mouth but still laughing.

Da Ye: "If you divulge, we can no longer be friends. Wei. I mean what I say."

But Ling was still laughing. Daye pushes Ling and bumps into Tongdao who was walking past him.

 

 

7. Ling and Da Ye talk about Tong Dao.

Ling: "Oh. My god. Hey. He's very cute."  

Da Ye: "Yeah. all the girls in the school have been talking about that, among the new students, there's a boy looking like a girl. He's very cute. Haven't you heard of it? His name is Fan Tongdao."

Ling: "He really looks like a girl."

Da Ye: "Don't get any wrong idea. He's male. Housi and his friends have followed him to the rest room to check it out." (WTF???)

Ling starts laughing again.

Da Ye: "Wei. You can't say it."

Ling: "I won't say it."

Da Ye: "You're finished if you reveal it."

Ling: "I won't say it. I absolutely won't say it. I won't talk about you and Qingmei." (gosh, kulit!)

 

8. Ok so here’s what happened. A girl and his sister walks up to Tong Dao and proposes to him. But Tong Dao says he cant do that because he likes someone else – Chen Ling. At the cafeteria, the older sister sees Ling so she walks up to him and about to slap him. But Ling misses it and the slap lands on Da Ye’s face. (Aww..poor Da Ye…first the ckal eraser and now, a slap! This is so funny though, again, Da Ye and Ling’s facial expressions!)

EPISODE 11

 

 

1. Ling is waiting outside Qi Luo’s classroom. Qing Mei sees him and tells him that Qi Luo’s busy with the art club. Ling asks Qing Mei… (Ling is so cute in this scene.)

Ling: "Has Qiluo mentioned anything to you? For example, various rumors."

Qing Mei: "Ohhh. Do you mean about Tongdao? I don't know about various rumors. But as for his liking you, not only have we heard all of it, we heard it straight from the horse's mouth."

Ling sighs heavily and crouches down. Qingmei crouches down, too.

Qing Mei: "Why are so depressed? Qiluo won't get scared for some little thing. Aiyo. It's not the first time something scary happened around you. Hey... I heard you two haven't slept together."

Ling sighs and bends down his head.

Ling: "I don't know. Even I can't believe myself any more. Does she dislike me? Does she not like me?" (sighing nonstop)

Qing Mei: "It's because she likes you, she wants to avoid it all the more. Sleeping together is not like what is being played on TV, playing some background music, stars, and flowers on the ground. I don't know how you guys look at it. But for us girls, it's a very big break."

Ling: "Is it the same to you?"

Qing Mei: "Of course. Who isn't?"

Ling: "I'm really sorry about what happened before."

Qingmei puts up her hand to stop Ling.

Qing Mei: "Hey. Don't talk about what happened in the past in front of me. Anything about you, I have completely forgotten them."

Ling: "Okay. Then I wish you and Daye can come to blossom smoothly."

Ling stands up and walks away. Qing Mei looks alarmed.

Qing Mei: "That Daye. He has told you, hasn't he?"

Ling turns around to face her, smiling and gestures to zip his mouth. Then he leaves. Qingmei is embarrassed.

 

 

2. Ling comes to the art studio to see Qiluo. Qi Luo -> "Why do you never walk in from the front door?" (Lol! I noticed that too.) He’s going to answer when he sees Tong Dao, he’s like "Why is it you again?" (Man, I love ZZ’s expressions!)

 

 

3. After Qi Luo talked Ling into being a little nicer to Tong Dao, Ling is sitting beside Tong Dao looking very uncomfortable and trying to strike a conversation with him. (I like he’s expression when he turned to Qi Luo, his face yelling “Help!” Ling starts a conversation about paintings. Cute part:

Tong Dao: “I like abstract stuff more. So, I like Moreau and Egon Schiele."

Ling: "Egon Schiele."

Tong Dao: "You know Egon Schiele too?"

Ling: "No. I don't?” (Lol! I really thought he knew him! Hmm, what do you expect from Ling anyways? But didn’t he surprised us all when he actually can speak English very fluently?)

 

Ling changes the topic.

Ling: "I say... Do you really only like men? What I mean is that have you ever tried dating with girls? Are you not interested at all?"

Tong Dao: "It's not like that."

Ling: "Wow. You're bisexual. Kid, you're really something." (Ling got really interested when Tong Dao said that. Perv.)

Ling pullshis chair closer.

Ling: "Tell me. What types of girls do you like?"

Tong Dao: "I'd better not say it."

Ling: "Why can't you say it? Tell me. Maybe I know someone like that. I can introduce her to you. I know many girls."

Tong Dao: "I... I like girls like Qiluo."

Ling’s face turned grim and grabs Tong Dao by his collar.

Ling: "You stinky kid. You need a good beating." (Ayan kase! Namimilit ka eh! Sabi nang he’d rather not say it eh!)

Qi Luo rushes to them to stop Ling.

 

 

4. Ling and Qiluo are walking on a campus road. Ling is still jealous.

Ling: "That dead kid. He looks cute but actually is not cute at all."

Qi Luo: "Maybe that wasn't what he meant. He just felt that I took special care of him."

Ling: "Then why did you take special care of him?"

 

 

Just because TD looks pretty here. (Lol! Cause he looks gay sometimes, instead of looking like  girl.)

 

 

5. Tongdao beats Ling at a game of pool and his prize is that Ling is going to spend an hour with him. He takes him to some old shabby place. Ling -> "Wei. Aren't you too stingy to choose such a place for dating?" (Ahaha…that sense of humor!)

 

 

6. After Ling finds out how he is connected to Tong Dao, he meets Qi Luo at a pizza restaurant.

Qi Luo: "So, you were acquainted with Tongdao previously."

Ling: "I can't call him an acquaintance. I just happened to meet him once. I remember at that time someone was beating him really bad. I was in a bad mood that day as well. I thought it wasn't a bad idea to just act it out. So I rescued him incidentally. I beat the other kid half-dead. But what do you know? Tongdao didn't even thank me. Instead, he looked at me hatefully. I've just learned that that guy is Tongdao. If it hadn't been the look in Tongdao's eyes, I might have killed the other kid. I'm very frightening, aren't I? Sometimes I've also found it that there's something wrong with me."

Qiluo calls his name, wipes his mouth with a tissue and kisses him. (ah wait, this is kiss # 6)

Qi Luo: "You don't know yourself. Actually, you're very cute."

What’s cute about this scene is that Qi Luo wiped her mouth with the same tissue she used for Ling. Hmmm…

 

 

7. Officer Tian talks to Ling about Tong Dao. Ling ->  "What did this guy do, after all, that policemen are watching him? Was he a pickpocket or something?" (Haha.) Then Officer Tian drops the bomb -> “Tong Dao killed someone.” (Haha.)

  

9. (OMG, this is pretty shocking to me.) Ling takes a cigarette from a guy at the pool hall. Tong Dao extends his left palm with an ashtray in it. Ling says that that ashtray is already dirty. Tongdao puts down the ashtray and then extendshis palm bare. Ling stubbs the cigarette out in Tongdao's palm. (Ouch.) Ling -> "I think I'm already crazy enough, but you're even crazier than I."

 

 

10. One morning at school, Ling’s walking up the stairs while Tong Dao is coming down. Tong Dao greets him as he walks past him. Ling turns and stops Tong Dao. Ling asks if Tong dAo saw a doctor. Tong Dao thought he was talking about his hand so he says yes. Ling -> "It's not that. It's this."
