I didn’t report for work today! I have no voice, aside from cough and flu! Eh SMART Assts talk a lot pa naman so obviously I wouldn’t be able to function well. I also wouldn’t go to work tomorrow, sana naman may maka-miss saken. >.< Shucks! Pano nga pala yung usapan namin ni Ken tomorrow eh di ako papasok? I can go staright to Soundstage but I have noone to go with! I cant bring my mom. Lol.

jhocel mei told me that Strawberry on the Shortcake will be shown on ABSCBN. She’s worried that Tackey’ll get exposed. My goodness! That’s something to be worried about nga!! Waah!!!

I’m writing this over Mr. Chips and Royal.

Work went okay as usual, 4.5 lang ako today.

Shucks! Mami Grace read some of my messages kanina! She borrowed my phone kase ot text Mami Josette. She read the ones in the Sent Items folder but I think she thought Inbox ko yun kaya akala niya, story ng friend ko yung nabasa niya. Parang naiiyak-iyak na raw siya sa mga nabasa niya. Shucks! Pano na when she figures out it’s actually my story!?!?

Pareho kame ni Enzy so we went on with our gameplan – to enjoy ourselves so we can forget what happened last night. Sinamahan namin si Jen to buy a new bag but we ended up buying one also! Pare-pareho kame ng bag, only different colors! Jen has the light blue, Enzy has the dark blue while I have the pistachio green. Hehe. Jen separated from us afterwards kase she has to back of the store na for her duty. We bought shirts next, dun kame sa mga pambata since kid’s sizes fit us both naman. She bought the Justice League one, while I bought yung Sesame Street. Marked down yung prizes kase clearance sale. Punta kame ng Surplus Shop next, Enzy wanted to buy pants. Sabi ko I wanna buy too but I don’t have cash kase di pa ko nag-withdraw. (Pinadebit namin sa ATM cards namin yung sa bag eh.) So punta kame sa ATM machine, haba ng pila so while waiting, nilipat namin yung gamit namin sa bagong bag. Kakahiya kame diba? After ko mag-withdraw, punta kame CR para ayusin yung bag namin. Tapos we bought pants at Surplus Shop. Nag-ikot-ikot pa kames a different stores. We were looking for statement shirts. We were at BCNY when we both thought, “We need a shirt that says, PRACTICE SAFE SEX.” Hahahahaha. We wanted to eat tapos daan sa store to take a look at Wald for the last time before going home. Eh pagdaan namin sa door ng mall, it was storming outside! Puro kaulapan ang nababanaag namin! Eh napadaan kame sa stall ng button pins so we bought one each. What did we like, the pin that says, “The World’s Greatest Dad.” Ehehehehe. I bought the “Whatever” pin while she bought Avril Lavigne’s cause she likes her. Papalitan ko nga yung What ng Wald. WALD-EVER. Lol. Enzy and I are such bargain shoppers! At P550, we have a new bag, pants, shirt and pin na. Hindi pa ukay-ukay yan. (Syemps you can buy more if sa ukay eh.)

On our way to the store, we bumped into Rheng and Sol. Tapos we saw Gie and Kareen with some friends. Big OMG cause Gie’s friends live in the same subdivision as me! It took me a while to recognize them pa cause I don’t know them personally talaga. I don’t go out of the house much kase aside from school and work. But I’m pretty sure they know my kuya. Hinatid muna namin si Ate Sol sa sakayan cause we don’t wana to go home pa cause Enzy and I want to see Wald first. (And we say, “I hate him!”???? We admit na crush pa rin namin siya, it wouldn’t disappear naman just like that. I’ll give it a week. Lol. ) Pagdaan namin sa Jollibee 1, there was this cute guy standing at the entrance greeting everyone coming in. He was so cute kase he looks so innocent! We thought he must be new. Eh di pasok kame just to look at his name plate. His name is ODIE! Para kameng loka-loka. We were hungry na kaya we went to the supermarket. Paglabas namin, we saw Kae and MG! It was Kae’s RD but she was there. Lol! Eh di buy din siya ng food. We ate at the food court pero ang laki ng problem namin kase walang straw yung Zesto! So we were making kulit Enzy to ask for courtesy cups from Greenwich kase crew dun yung cutie niyang neighbor na si Cris. Eh nahihiya si Enzy. Putek, nabibilaukan na ko dun sa mongo loaf wala pa rin! Kinagat na lang namin tuloy yung tetra pak! Kakahiya talaga kame, ang ingay pa namin. Sabi pa ni Kae, pag namatay daw kame dahil bilaukan, pag in-autopsy kame, ang makikita sa lalamunan namin, mongo, ube at cheese. (Rheng and I were eating mongo loaf, Kae was eating ube bread and Enzy was eating cheese ensaymada. Uhuh, Enzy-mada!) Hehe. Nakita namin si Jay-C, a regular from Jollibee 1 and inquired about Odie. We found out na first day of GTM niya! Shucks! Ang tindi naman namin! Super fresh niya pero na-spot-an agad namin! Sabi ko nga magvo-volunteer na ko pag inutusan sa Jollibee 1! Natatawa pa kame sa kwento ni KAe kase kasama niya pala yung boyfriend niya pero di na niya mahanap after niya iwan dun sa basketball-an! Gaga talaga yun, di man lang i-text eh naghintay uli kame ng closing!

Kae also bought the same bag as us. She has the red one. Excited na nga siya for tomorrow! Lol. When we went back to the store, nakita ni A’ Grace kaya nagpabili din. Dyosko pabalik-balik kameng 2 ni Kae sa 2^nd floor ha. Kapagod. So after namin siya ibili, ang ginawa namin ni Kae, we bought food using A’ Grace’s ATM. Makaganti man lang. Hahaha. We bought Pringles kase type ni Kae yugn free watch. Lol. I chose the flavor. Pagbalik namin kina Rheng eh biglang sumulpot sina K’ Dann, K’ Mhon and K’ Argel! DyoskO! San nanggaling yung mga yun? Nakikain lang ng Pringles tapos kameng 2 na lang ni Kae ang naiwan sa Bingo City!

Grabe, Kae’s memory is so sharp! When I was applying pala, siya pala yung tinanong ko if nakapasa din sila but they answered na employed na sila. They were doing TC at that time. Tapos may kinwento din siya nung naggi-GTM na ko. I can’t believe that she remembered me but I didn’t remember her. Nagtataka raw siya dahil di ko siya pinapansin pero di ko talaga siya natandaan. She didn’t think daw na magiging close kame.

Kae was talking to K’ Earl, A’ Nina’s boyfriend so I watched Ken clean the glass panels again. He did the same thing – yung heart thingy. But he looks so gloomy. Later, kinwento niya samen ni Kae na a customer insulted daw kase. Poor Ken. I feel so bad for him. But he never fails to ask me talaga, “Bern, uwi na kayo?” Argh, I dunno if I’ll believe him or not. It’s hard naman if I fall but he’s just bluffing. Damn Lamesa Dam! (-> New expression namin ni Kae after she found out that K’ Jocel has a new girlfriend. Hehe.)

Ken separated from us kase iba yung sakayan niya. I saw him stop at the vendors, I knew he was gonna buy cig. So I shouted even if I was so paos na, “Si Ken oh, magyoyosi pa!!!!”

So…WHERE DO BROKEN HEARTS GO? SA DEPT STORE!! And yeah, I developed a new motto…”CAN’T RELATE, NO BOYFRIEND SINCE BIRTH.”

I’m writing this over Lucky Me Sotanghon and Dalandan Soda. So many things happened today.

Yey! I wasn’t wearing uniform today kase nag-TC ako. TC is Traffic Counting -> count how many people enter the store every 30 minutes. Grabe I was so bored! I spent 4 hours TC at our store while another 4 at KFC. My gosh! But I was able to observe a lot of things. There were nursing students who were dining tapos they were teasing one girl to K’ Jason, our crew leader. All the crews were laughing because K’ Jason is married with two kids! Actually, her wife gave birth just last week! Hahaha. K’ Jason doesn’t look like a dad naman kase. Most of the regular crews have wives and kids already except for K’ Jocel pero hindi halata cause actually they’re young pa naman. They just matured fast. Lol.

Contrary to what Mine said, Ken reported for work today and when he saw me by the door, he smiled at me. Yep, I smiled back. He arrived pretty early for his shift (3:30pm) so he left ulit. As usual, he was wearing green. Lol.

After my 1^st 4 hours, I had my break. In the crewroom were the 3 GTMs, M’ Mhy and M’ Belle. I was eating when M’ Mhy said, “Aba ginutom si Ate!” Promise! I was so hungry talaga! M’ Mhy and M’ Belle were nagkekwentuhan while I eat. I care about nothing but my food. I’m that hungry that I think I didnt even taste my food. Alam mo yung you just wanna eat it so it could go straight to your stomach without even savoring it. Out of the blue, M’ Mhy told me, “Ate, gusto ko raw kausap ni K’ Jocel. Siguro binobola-bola mo si K’ Jocel no?” I just smiled. Love ko na talaga si K’ Jocel! I didn’t know that he talks about me that way. I feel so moved. That means, may sense ako kausap. Somehow, we can relate to each other cause we’re both from UP. Have I written this before? Anyways, he took up Philosophy but he never got to finish his course. Only until his 3^rd year. Ika nga, “Birds of the same feather, flock together.”  I regard him as an older brother. He cares for me eh, feeling ko he was so pitying me na kanina cause I was so hungry. Pinagbe-break na nga ko nun agad eh obviously, that cant happen cause I cant leave my post. Thanks anyways, Papi Jocel.

TC at KFC was more boring than at Jollibee! Reason 1: There were no seats! (Though at some point, dyosko, umupo na ko dun sa floor, promise.) Reason 2: I have noone to talk to at all! (Unlike when I was at Jollibee where I can talk to the Dining boys. Hehe.) Reason 3: Not a lot of people enter KFC! (Promise! Parang gusto ko na nga maghakot ng tao and yell, “Pumasok naman kayo sa KFC!) ! hour into my TC, Mine arrived. It was her RD but she still went to the store cause she was so bored at home. So there, I have someone to talk to na so I wasn’t that bored anymore. We look like beggars nga lang sitting on the floor. Like everyone would look at us as they pass. Baket bawal ba? The guards didn’t shoo us away naman eh. But we just really got impatient on how long we have to sit there to count the people! Grabe! I’m never going to do that TC again! Mas gugustuhin ko pang mag opening to closing Smart kesa mag-TC! Utang na loob!

When I finally finished my TC at KFC, I went to the store to fetch Yami cause it’s her turn at KFC na. I left Mine muna to TC while I’m gone. Pagpasok ko sa crewroom, I saw K’ Bry and he went, “Bernice naman o, sabi kong wag mo na ko hintayin eh.” Ang kapal! Naku sa lahat ng crushes ko eto na yata ang pinaka-feeling! Promise. Ewan ko ha pero parang di ko na siya crush kase close na kame. Wala na siyang mystery saken. Lol. Pero at least from crush, naging friend ko siya. Di katulad ng iba diyan. Lol. Ay tapos pala! I thought he’s called Justin because of Justin Timberlake but no pala! It’s because of Justin Full House! Si Bi! Lol! Because he has the same eyes as him! Lol!!!! When I heard that, I was like, “Oo nga no!” Wehehehe…

After I clocked out, I didn’t go home agad. Tambay muna. Hehe. At first, we stayed at Bingo City and later we transferred to the Food Court. Kwentuhan and picture-picture. Lol. Present were Rheng, Enzy, Ate Len, Ate Camille, Aimee and K’ Arnold. So habang kwentuhan, they were kinda having a clue na who my crush is kase si Enzy ang obvious tapos I think there's this certain look’expression on my face whenever I talk about him. But sobrang di ako umaamin. Kase while we were at Bingo City, sinisilip-silip ko si Wald sa store. Tapos when Rheng and Ate Camille were talking about boyfriends, I went, “Cant realte, no boyfriend since birth.” Ate Camille was shocked that I haven’t had a boyfriend eversinse. I wasn’t surprised with her reaction cause I get that a lot. I told K’ Arnold na crush ko si Mak, since they’re both stockmans. And then he told me something insinuating that Mak is gay! OMG!!! WTF?!?!???!?!?!?! I can’t believe he’s gay because he looks so manly! He’s so tall pa! To think na he’s a stockman pa diba? Waah!?!?! What’s happening in the world??? Why why why? Ate Camille also mentioned that Ken is a heavy drinker. Shucks. He smokes, he carries condom in his wallet and he drinks a lot. >.<

So here’s the long story explaining the title of this entry. Everything happened when we went back to the store kase closed na.

Enzy and I’s mission is to take a pic of Wald. Eh magbababa ng Daimos si Wald kaya sabi ni Enzy when he comes back, she’ll take a picture. When he came back, eh di takbo si Enzy, lumayo na ko cause I was too shy! He knows it’s my phone! Pagbalik ni Enzy, di niya raw nakunan si Wald kase nahihiya raw si Wald. What the.

Nakakatawa, eh di we were waiting for the closing shiftees to finish cleaning the store. I was watching Ken clean the glass panels of the store. I haven’t noticed before na whenever he puts soap using that thing – wiper (?), the last application, he draws a heart. Ang cute no? He did that to every panel. That’s 6.

We went back inside the store para di masita ng guards. Ken asked me, “Bern, manonood kayo mamaya?” They have a basketball game kase with crews from other stores. I couldn’t answer him na naman cause I really don’t know! Problema ko kase yung pag-uwi ko. Nagi-guilty na ko cause I always cant answer him everytime he asks me questions like that! But I thought, of all people, I was the first person he noticed and asked. So can you blame me if I think that Ken has feelings for me?

Later, Enzy pulled me aside and told me something shocking. Nakikipagkwentuhan kase siya kay K’ Ritz who was waiting for A’ Tina. According to K’ Ritz, Wald got a girl pregnant. 2 months na raw. Malamang girlfriend naman niya yun no. I’d hate him more if it’s just a random girl. So grabe, I think my world crashed at that moment, I was speechless. I’ve always thought he’s so matino and I’ve always spoke highly of him to my friends cause he’s so different from the other Dining crews but then he’s so disappointing pala. Of all of them, I thought he’s the least likely person to do such a thing. It was so heart breaking. Ang OA ng reaction no? I know I shouldn’t feel so betrayed cause he isn’t my boyfriend naman, pero what can I do, that’s what Enzy and I feel. So ok, alam na ni K’ Ritz na crush namin si Wald. Jenny also has a crush on him din pala so there were 3 of us who felt really bad. But I guess she wasn’t that affected naman as much as Enzy and I because she has a boyfriend naman. Grabe, feeling ko tuloy mas lalong tumaas yung mataas ko ng temperature. Sabi nga ni Papi, nilalagnat daw ako dahil ang init ko nga. It’s so creepy that MG was right about him! Grabe talaga, di kaya may lahing manghuhula to si MG! Sumakit tuloy ulo ko bigla while writing this.

So I was quiet na and contemplating when the guard asked where our manager was kase it’s bawal nga to tambay in front of the store. So we decided to go outside the mall na kase baka ma-ER kame. (ER – Employee Report) While walking, I was so irritated na cause every little thing we do na lang, lagi na lang may panakot na ER. It so irked me cause we’re parang in grade school na pag nalista ng noisy eh maga-guidance na. So I went, “Ano ba?!?! Lahat na lang ng gagawin natin, ii-ER! Dyosko! EH di i-ER nila tayo lahat! Tingnan ko lang kung makapag-operate yung store!”  (I so hate security guards now! To think that that’s where we get our income since my dad is an operations manager of a security agency) Tapos nagulat na lang ako dun sa sunod kong sinabi, “My God! Di man lang siya nag-condom!” Nag-react si Ken, “Sino Bern? Ako meron!” Me -> “Oo nga diba, dapat pala nanghiram siya sayo.” Tinabihan ako ni Ken while walking sabay akbay and sabi ng, “Ano yan Bern, bago mong expression?” Di ako sumagot kase alangan naman sabihin ko sa kanya yung Wald problem ko diba? He was trying to make me feel better and sympre nag-joke na naman siya. Eh ano pa nga ba yung nakakapagpatawa saken kundi yung mga dried mangoes topics naming 2. So sabi niya may nahuli daw kaninang tindero ng dried mangoes sa store. I couldn’t remember the rest of his kwento but the last I heard was, “Basta ikaw pa rin pinakamaganda sa lahat ng nagtitinda ng dried mangoes.” We continued walking, his arm still over my shoulders. He stopped when we were infront of the height measurer, nagmeasure siya ng height niya. Eh di I followed. Eh nagsunuran na rin yung iba. So sinira nila yung moment namin ni Ken, ok lang?

It was raining when we went outside kaya tambay na naman kame sa harap. Enzy told me na magliwaliw kame tomorrow since pareho kame ng time out. Ganda ng sagot ko, “Anong gameplan?” Tawa si Rheng while Ken was still clueless. Enzy and I couldn’t get over it talaga kaya yun pa rin topic namin, so tanong ng tanong si Ken who we were talking about. Sino daw ba yung crush namin? I said, “Yung naka-green, na may dalang pink na bag (bang ni Rheng), na ayan nilalapitan ako…” Basically I was describing him. Hehe. Tapos napagod na ko, lumayo na ko sa mga tao at umupo na ko somewhere there. Tinanong na naman ako ni Ken, medyo ang layo niya no, “Bern! Sino ba yon?” Me -> “Why do you care ba?” Ken -> “I care because I love you!” Ang lakas! EH di hiyawan sila. Pero I mean, he must be joking again. Later, he found out it was Wald nga. I cant remember how it happened pero basta we were isolated from the group na and there only the two of us talking na. He knows Wald’s story also. He got the girl pregnant and he has to give financial support. So I thought baka wala na sila pero sabi ni Ken, pananagutan daw ni Wald yung girl. Tapos he told me, “Si Wald pala, kung sino yung ka-close ko, yun pala ka-compete ko.” I really don’t know what to think. He even let me punch both his arms. Lakasan ko pa raw eh sabi ko namumula na yung arms niya. Sabi ko gantihan niya ko tapos he was gonna punch na but he didn’t do it. Tapos eh dala-dala ko kase yung shoes ni K’ Bry (more on that later), kase dala naman ni K’ Bry yung paying ko, he was like, “Bat mo ba kase dala yan? It hurts me inside.” So what would I think diba? Ano ba? I told Ken that he confuses me. I dunno when he’s joking and when he’s not. Basta may sinabi na naman siya tapos I told him, “Sus, niloloko mo na naman ako.” Sabi niya, “It’s true.” Sabay kanta ng It’s True ng BSB, I’m so not kidding. Mukha kameng sira dun 2. Sabi niya starting tomorrow, he’ll change daw, he’ll be more serious. I told him na wag. Ang labo ko diba?

What’s the story with K’ Bry? Ayun isa pa yung ginugulo ang buhay ko. Sabay kame uwi diba? Eh umuulan, he asked me if may payong ako. Sabi ko meron, eh di nilabas ko. Sus, eh meron din pala siya. Pero basta sabi niya gusto niya raw kame magka-share sa payong. Siya daw maghahawak pero biglang saken pinahawak yung shoes niya! Bastos na yon!

We decided to go na. Ken was still forcing me to watch them play, inakbayan uli ako para isama. Eh tumingin ako sa likod kase I was looking for K’ Bry kase nga kasabay ko umuwi. What was I thinking? I shouldn’t be doing that diba? I hate myself. Eh kase lahat naman nilalandi niya, sabi nga niya, sige hatiin daw yung katawan niya sa 5. Eh di tuwing ibang girl yung kausap niya, sila Enzy, Gie and Mine kunyari nagseselos. So iniwan ko siya, takbo ko kay Papi. Tapos eh di punta naman si Ken sa kanila, pag tingin ko sa likod, sabi ko kay Ken, “Ken, it’s true pala ha. May pakanta-kanta ka pa.” Kulang na lang sumigaw ako ng “Playboy”! Tapos si Papi namin, “Nanlalake ka na naman ah!” HEhe. Ano bang life ito?

Di pa rin kame umalis kase the rain stopped so baka matuloy yung game. They were waiting for their opponents kaya tambay ulit dun sa mga canteens sa labas. Lol. Ken was forcing the issue again, so I told him that I’ll watch if he brings me home. Sabi niya kung dala niya raw yung scooter ng cousin niya. Natawa ko and told him that I don’t wana die early kase pababa yung way sa IBP road, I’d rather go home alone. He wants to go home na nga sa house ng aunt niya sa Cainta kaso baka magulat daw kase gabi na and wala siya pasabi, and in the end, mukhang matutuloy yung game nila. Sa Sunday na lang daw kc may gig siya sa Soundstage. Sabi niya manood daw ako diretso na raw kame from work. Sabi niya may project pa raw siya, pero later niya na lang gagawin, I was gonna volunteer sana to help him pero ie-encode lang naman pala yun sa computer. Kaya niya na yun. He was asking for my email address again kaya nilabas niya yung notebook niya. Tiningnan ko lang yung ie-encode niya while Mine and A’ Camille wrote their email addresses. Sabi ko nga wala ako friendster eh. I didn’t write my email address. (I really don’t want to give him my online identity! Mawawalan ako ng freedom eh!) Later later, sabi ko, sige from now on, siya lang crush ko. Aba ayaw maniwala! Mga 3 times ko sinabi! Pero my eyes say otherwise daw! In fairness, a part of me tells the truth naman. I kinda like him naman ng one half. I was really trying to squeeze something out of him kanina to no avail.

Si K’ Bry naman dyosko kase ayaw pa umuwi dahil sasama sa game. Nakaupo kame dun sa table ng closed na canteen. Ang pwesto: K’ Bry, A’ Camille, Ken, me. Tinanong ni K’ Bry if pina-print ko yung pic niya. I was like, “Bat ko naman ipaprint yun? Panakot sa daga?” Tapos may time na tumayo si Ken, lumipat si K’ Bry sa tabi ko. K’ Bry was asking for my phone eh ayoko ilabas kase hello, nasa labas kaya kame baka ma-snatch pa. He wants to see daw kase baka in-erase ko yung picture niya. Ang arte!

Enzy introduced us to her cute neighbor who works at Greenwich. Pare, ang cute nga! Singkit! Nampucha eh weakness ko yun! Pasadong uhljjang omigosh! Tapos nakita ko na rin yung brother ni Ken, sus, eh yun lang pala yun, nakita ko sa yun before sa store eh, di naman cute! Mukha namag mongoloid konti. Masyado maputla. (Ang yabang.) Sabi ko nga kay Ken, ayan na nga oh crush nga kita, di na nga ko attracted dun sa isang yun.

About ¾ of Jollibee knows who my crush is na. Uhuh, even Ken of course, was it one week na after he said that he’s gonna find out who it is in a week? Sabi nga ni Kae, di na raw ako abnormal. Lol. (Remember my story na they thought I don’t have a crush, wala raw ako pakiramdam.) Anyways, nakadami ng akbay si Ken kanina ah. I dunno what people around us thought seeing us like that. But I really appreciate his consoling. I really needed his being a funny guy to make me feel better. Sana lang di niya ko masyadong kino-confuse with his words. I ended up not going with them to watch the game but before going with them, he waited for us muna to board a bus going home. That was kinda thoughtful.

Here’s a rundown of my crushes.

Wald -> got a girlfriend and will have a baby in approx 7 months

Bry -> not my crush anymore cause we’re close na

Dags -> super duper secret crush because he has gf na who’s so close to me also

Mak -> gay.

Gravy guy -> has a gf, nagsusubuan pa sila ng fries and they were the same shirt pa.

Ken isn’t exactly my crush but he confuses me to death.

So yeah, I need to go hunting for a new one tomorrow! There’s noone left!

This morning, I was riding a jeep when I so could smell Ken’s cologne! OA kase kung makapag-spray yun kaya amoy na amoy. I wonder kung sino yun dun sa mga nakasakay sa jeep, but of course, I never found out. Tapos later, I saw a jeep naman na yung nakalagay sa back ng jeep ay MachoKEN. WTF? He’s everywhere!

At work, my goodness, nagkagulo kames a sched ni Ate Nica! Ang gulo kase ni S’ Jowi, he told me a different sched. But sabi ni Mami kanina, we’ll follow her kase di niya na i-aassign kay S’ Jowi yung sched namin since he’s in charge of everyone else’s. Ang ending, I went on duty na lang, Ate Nica was given a different sched cause I was there first. If si Ate Nica yung magdu-duty, late na siya. Nakakaaliw si Mami after the three of us figured out what to do, she said, “Pwede tumawa?” Hehehe.

Katabi ko ulit si K’ Dags kanina during pray time! Nasilip ko ID niya! His name pala si Dennis Dagale. Kanina, when I submitted yesterday’s sales report to the Admin office, pinadaan ako ni M’ Thea sa Dunkin Donut to buy her coffee. Nakakatawa when I went to Dunkin Donut, there was a guy executive who said, “Uy pala pati Jollibee, naliligaw din dito!” Hehehe. Oo nga naman, it does look weird for a Jollibee crew to be at Dunkin Donut.

While I was on my break, aba’t naka-break rin sina K’ Alex, K’ JR, K’ Denz at K’ Jason. Puro regular crews yun! Sabi ko nga, “OP naman ako dito.” Sabi ni K’ JR, “Special ka nga eh.” Hehe. Eh tinutukso nila si K’ Jason na nambabae blah blah blah samantalang her wife just gave birth. Basta asar talo si K’ Jason dun sa 3. Tapos eh he asked me how much I got for the last cut-off, eh my payslip was pinned with my ID. Eh kukunin niya dapat, basta tawa ng tawa yung 3 kase…hint: my ID was pinned where?

Crap! There were raters at the store again today! Buti na lang I was on my break when they did most of the auditing. Eh kaso, may Q&A daw and Mami was like, “Bernice, mag-review ka baka ikaw yung tanungin!” EH kase certified na ko kaya pwede na ko. My goodness! Bigla tuloy akong kinabahan. Naka-3 times akong pasok sa CR before I clocked in! Anyways, buti na lang walang interview. Yey. What a relief!

Ok so ang cosmic na naman namin ni Ken no? Pareho naming RD yesterday and today when he arrived at work, he wasn’t feeling so well. Eh ako sinisipon and medyo coughing but ako, kaya ko pa magtrabaho. Siya sobrang hindi na talaga. He looks so gloomy and quiet! That’s so unusual of hiM! Di ako sanay for crying out loud! Newly trimmed pa naman hair niya kaso he cant be ready for work when he doesn’t have a hairnet. Now pa that there were raters. K’ Ritz borrowed his kase so I went to find him one. I borrowed from Mary, the new counter crew since out naman na siya. Kaso nag-early out din naman si Ken cause I think di na niya kaya.

While Ken’s gone, ang dami ko naman Wald moments! Too many to take note kaya di ko na mai-detail now! I’m not too shy to approach him na. Basta the one’s I could remember now was when he went to the booth for a customer’s advantage card and I was like, “Kuya, kulang kulang o! Nasan yung advantage card?” Eh di kinuha niya. “Eh Kuya! For dine in ba or take out?” Wehehe. Ang sama. Pabalik-balik tuloy yung mama. Tapos when I was doing OT, eh maga-advanced call ako so punta ko counter. Basta eh siya rin pasok. Mas nauuna siya. Sobrang same way yung nilakaran namin hanggang bumalik ako dun sa pila at siya dun sa dining area. May time na tumingin siya saken sa likod, I was so defensive, “Kuya, di kita sinusundan ah!” He smiled lang. That is so enough for me though. J I have a code for him na! C for CUTE! Why? Kase he was wearing this button pin on his cap, C yung nakalagay, for Dining C kase siya yung in charge dun. So ayun, yung C is for cute instead of Dining C. Hehe. Why is he always in a hurry to go home?!?! Hindi kaya MG is right that he already has wife and kids? Lol.

2^nd day of GTM ni A’ Ivy today pero ngayon lang kame nagkasama kase RD ko yesterday. Pero matagal ko na siya nakakausap kase samen naman tinatanong yugn results ng interviews and 2 days ago, nagka-kwentuhan pa kame while they were waiting for their uniforms. I feel so close to her na that I even told her who my crush is since alam ng lahat ng Smarts alam. Pati si gravy guy sinabi ko na kase he was there kanina. Naka-civilian. Aba ang galing ni Ivy! Alam niya agad kung sino, at siya pa ang nagturo where his girlfriend was sitting. Hehe. Nung papunta na sa booth yung guy for gravy refill, Ivy went, “Ayan na yung crush mo.” sabay alis ng booth para ako mag-refill ng gravy. Lol! Eh ano naman kung alam na nung guy na yun. For some reason, di ako affected kahit malaman niya. Taken naman na siya. At grabe ha, when he and his gf left, I noticed they were wearing same shirts! In fairness, that’s so cute!

K’ Bry borrowed my phone and took a picture of himself. Ipagyabang ko raw. Kapal diba? He was making kalikot my phone tapos he asked me if I have an older sister. What the hell does that mean!??!!? How young does he think I am? I’m even older than him kaya! So I told him I do have a kuya if he wants. Tawa ng tawa si K’ Pao kase tinutukso sila kanina ni M’ Belle na malansa ang dugo nilang 2 (K’ Bry and K’ Pao). Oh diba, they almost have the same name pa. Bry and Bryce, happy together. Lol. Naglaro pa ng tennis sa phone ko! Hanggang nung nasa bus kame, eh di magkatabi si K’ Dags and A’ Jen, si K’ Bry mag-isa tapos kame ni Mine. Eh pano ko siya mababantayan eh baka basahin niya messages ko! Eh di lumipat ako sa tabi niya, tampo tuloy si Mine, lol.

Sabay kame nina Mine, K’ Bry, A’ Jen with K’ Dags umuwi. Parang di sila mag-bf masyado, cause K’ Dags is always so quiet. Or baka di lang siya ma-PDA.

I just started reading Akuma de Sourou, the manga version of Devil Beside You and I’m so loving it!  It’s so funny and it just makes me more excited to watch the series itself. The dialogues are so good! Volume 1 palang, so much things has happened already. Natawa ko that Kayano changed her mind too fast, she liked Kamijou and then in just a snap, she likes Takeru na! *look who’s talking* Basta super cute ng scenes. Like when Kayano found out that it wasn’t Takeru who posted her love letter, she told him to hurt her so that she would feel better, just when she thought he was gonna hit her, he kissed her instead! Waah! and Kamijou saw it! He was shocked because they were going to be siblings. Takeru said, “We’re siblings who will do bad things in the future.” SO hot! Kamijou likes her din pala. So hot when he said, “I’m tired of being the nice guy.” Waah! But when Kayano moved on to Takeru, Kamijou also moved on to Haru, Kayano’s bestfriend. Hehe. Ang bilis! I also liked the scene when Kayano was crying because she hurt Haru and then Takeru went to find her, when he found her, he said, “I was wondering who that crying kid on the swing was and it was my sister!” Tapos they went home riding the bike. Pero bat ganon, in the DBY pic, wearing those outfits, there was a kiss?!?! Siguro isa yun dun sa mga dinagdag na kisses ng director! Whoever that director is, I just wanna say thank you. Lol. Tapos of course of course the hands clasped scene. Tapos the 2^nd kiss scene, nakakatawa kase when Takeru said, “We’ll continue this later okay?” Lol!!

I watched “Jenny. Juno” kanina. It’s cute cute movie! A light view on teenage pregnancy. Yes, it’s unrealistic, but WTH, it’s a movie for teens and its purpose is just to enjoy it and not take it seriously. But I’m not saying that being pregnant at a young age is glamorous. I think this movie is an allegorical satire. Grabe, could 15 year olds be really that in love? I want a boyfriend like Juno! He’s so sweet! He loves Jenny so much! I mean at that age, sobrang he would do anything for her, even if it means to wake up in the middle of the night to satisfy her whims! In fairness, Kim Hyesung and Park Minji were very good actors for newcomers. Ang galing ni Hyesung umiyak, I really really felt him. Park Minji was so daring! There were a lot of scenes where she was in her undies. Sabagay she’s still young naman. She’s so cute ha, she’s a cute chubby girl. I think when she grows up, she’s going to look a bit like Kim Taehee. Hehe. I like her clothes! The spag straps and colorful pants, and the dresses. Hehe. Oh and her headbands! I’ll wear a headband also when I go to sleep later. Hehe. (But that’ll screw up my bangs >.<)

- when Jenny was asking Juno if she loses her legs and arms…I just love Juno’s answers! He’s like, “then I’ll just carry you on my back” and “then I’ll do your homeworks, I’ll feed you.” (Anne: Feed me!!!)

- when Jenny let her sister get all the pads since she wouldn’t be having a period in a long time. Hehe.

- of course, everytime Juno would wake up in the middle of the night to buy food for Jennt

- when Juno told Jenny, “if I can be pregnant instead of you, ill do it.” Waah!!

- when Juno was making parinig to his parents about increasing his allowance or else he’ll bum around. Pretty effective!
- when Juno brought Jenny a box of fruits from the fridge! Lol!

- the sex ed part!!! it was so funny when the teacher said (the teacher was the masungit supervisor in save your last dance for me and also the teacher in my little bride who has a crush on Kim Rae Won), “masturbation is a responsible thing to do even if it makes your arm hurt.”

- when the boys were watching the sperms and one went, “Mine has a longer tail!” Lol!
- when Jenny was jealous over Juno’s math tutor because according to her, she taught him how to kiss. Hehe.

- when Juno thought that his parents were gonna have sex and he was like, “Oh no, my baby’s gonna be born sooner, that’ll screw up the family tree!” So he barges in inside her parents room to stop them from doing it. He would do that every night! HEhe. Naughty boy.

- when Jenny and Juno kissed and Jenny said, “Why are you so good? It’s the math tutor huh?” Lol!!!

- when they were eating boiled eggs and Juno volunteered his head for Jenny to crack the egg shell to

- (reminiscing) when Juno run over Jenny’s shoes but he returned and even put on her shoes over her feet. Waah! That’s so sweet! Haewon ikaw ba yan?!?!!

- the whole ending part from when Jenny was about to be sent to the States and then one day she stopped going to school and Juno hurriedly went to her house HE squatted outside waiting for her. He stalked Jenny’s sister so that she’ll give the information he wanted. Then he went to the mansion and he was so in a hurry that he forced the ahjushi not to pee anymore and just drive the car because he’s in a rush and basta just watch the movie. It’s so funny yet touching. Just remember he’s 15 to do all those things for love. Grabe.

Sunday – July 3

Hmm…what a way to start the morning…I was late because my parents were so kainis. Aish…basta feeling ko naiiyak na ko while riding the tricycle kanina. But when I arrived the store, the first person I saw was Ken and he was smiling at me so who wouldn’t be happy when that’s how he welcomes you right? The morning is not so bad after all. Opening din kase siya. When I was doing the opening inventory, Ken told me, “Bern, may gig pa kame mamaya, nood ka?” Waah…di ako makasagot! I really can’t give him an answer cause I think he didn’t tell anyone else. I can’t go alone! The first time I went to Soundstage was when I was 14 or 15, and I was with my mom and her friends. 9am-4pm siya while my sched was 9:30am-4pm so I thought I’ll talk to him about it after our duty. We weren’t able to talk during our duty because it was so peak! Everyone’s so busy, there were a lot of people at the store. When we were both at the fry station, (Coincidence: We were both gonna take-out a customer’s order! He went, “Magpapa-take out ka rin?”) eh ang tagal ni K’ JR kase walang styro so we were able to chat a bit. He was complanining that his back hurt. He’s so tired na. I joked pa, “Wushu…tumatanda ka na…” Andun din si K’ Jocel and I heard that Ken would buy ata K’ Jocel’s cellphone. K’ Jocel’s cellphone is a T610, my old phone. Another coincidence right there! My gosh Ken, get a cellphone, fast! Even jeepney drivers have one these days!! Puro ka kase online games! So anyways, parang after that, I didn’t see him na. Seriously, bigla na lang siya nawala! Feeling ko nga nag-early out yun. So yeah, wasn’t able to go to his gig. It’s just too impossible. Besides, I’m in no get up to go clubbing. I was wearing pants, red sneakers and a white shirt with bears printed on it!

Ang cute talaga ni K’ Dags! I was complaining about my bangs because it was so “dapa”. Reason: HAIRNET! We were both facing the mirror and he was semi-laughing at me. I’m really so childish.

As usual, when I went out of the crew room, K’ Jocel yelled, “Diretso ka sa bahay ah!” Yung asawa ko talaga…

ryza jie and I met kanina but I was 45 minutes late because the line at the ATM was so long and the freakin FX took so long to leave! I finally got my “Jenny, Juno” copy! Yey!

mayne texted me kanina asking if it was Sir Mong who was at Y Speak! Duh I dunno. I don’t even get to watch TV anymore! Sir Mong was our Social Studies student teacher  in Grade 8.

I read today’s paper and I found out two things:

“If Only” will be shown on July 13! I’ll deifinitely watch!!!

Monday – July 4

Love ko talaga si K’ Jocel! Pagpasok ko sa crewroom, he went, “San ka umuwi kagabi?” Hehehe. I was at work pretty early but when I came, K’ Alex was doing some work at the CR. When K’ Jocel entered the crewroom, I told him, “K’ Jocel, san po ako magbibihis?” Tapos sabi niya kay K’ Alex, “K’ Alex, pagbihisin mo nga muna si Bern.” Eh di ayun K’ Alex gave way. I love you K’ Jocel! Hehehe. Tapos kanina, we ran out of R2D2 lunch boxes ah di magpapababa kame kay stockman from the remote. Sabi ni K’ Jocel, pumunta na lang daw ako sa remote and kumuha ng nga 5, he gave me the keys. I was apprehensive then he said, “Takot ka no?” He was so right! Super scary kase sa remote stockroom! But the trip to the remote stockroom was worthwhile cause I saw this cute stockman from Jolibee 1 and his name is MAK. Thank God for the name plates! He’s so tall! I think I’ve seen him before when he borrowed something from us but he was too far kaya I didnt catch his name. But this time, we rode the same elevator…so ayun. Hehehe.  Parang dami cute guys today! Remember that gravy guy? He was at the store today! I took his order pa, What’s funny is that I was looking at his face straight but he couldn’t. Siguro nahalata niya na that I have a crush on him. Hehe. So yeah, I counted how many times he went to the booth to have his gravy cup refilled – 3 times ulit! He’s always with this girl, first instinct syempre baka girlfriend. Pero baka sister. Pero conclusion: girlfriend! She was feeding him fries for crying out loud! Ang sakit sa mata! Lol.

Pagpasok ko ng store, opening pala si K’ Eds. He asked me if I received his message. Shucks! In fairness, nagulat talaga ko dun. Akala ko alam niya na yung crush ko! Basta nakakagulat kase yung text. Eh 5am yung time nung text so duh, wala pa ko sa tamang katinuan. Kinabahan ako talaga. Lol.  I was mopping the floor near the booth kase wala ako magawa. I asked him to spray antibac, I meant on the floor, pero saken niya tinutok yung antibac! Langya yan. Tawa tuloy kame ng tawa. Sabi pa nila, i-mop ko na rin lahat ng floors. Eh si K’ Dann tinatawanan ako whenever I mop kase para raw akong sumasayaw.

Yeah boy! Wald moment alert! I was at the booth with MG. I was endorsing something at the logbook when K’ Wald came to ask us something about the KM toys. He asked of the amount of the kiddie meals are all the same. I think MG was about to answer but I jumped into it first. I explained it to him in full details without looking at him because I just can’t! I really can’t! So he left na. Later, he came back, at sobrang di ko naintindihan yung sinabi niya na may discount daw pag naka-150. He was obviously joking. So I told him, “K’ Wald, anong sinasabi mo? May discount-discount ka pang nalalaman.” Oh shucks, he laughed. *Help me I’m falling…* Tapos he was gonna leave na medyo one step away na siya from the booth tapos he faced us again, he was still laughing and then he eraised his hand for a high five. Eh di ako naman, I gave him a high five! Waah!! I touched his hand, I touched his hand…! (-> dorky Anne)

Whereas, Ken barely talked to me today eh slack naman. When he clocked in, I was at the counter also so I asked him how his gig went and he went, “Ok naman.” Sobrang walang gana. And then I kept asking him questions pero super one word answers and super walang gana. That’s so not like him. Galit nga yata yun. Sabi ni ryza jie eh kase baka dahil I didn’t watch his gig. Eh sabi niya kanina when I asked, every Sundays naman yung gig nila so maybe I could try next Sunday. And could it be that he knows na who my crush is? He asked me lang what time my duty will end so he can pay his debt to me. When I clocked out, I stayed at a table near the booth kase nag-take out pa ko. He approached me and said na his money’s inside his bag and if I could wait for him til closing. I told him medyo ok lang. So I waited for a while, only until I finished my take out. (Lol. Ang hilig ko talaga mag-take out tapos ida-dine in. Lol.) Cause I realized that Mine has gone home already. Wala ako kasabay umuwi if I’ll wait for him til closing. I went back inside the crewroom to look at my sched before leaving pero wala pa sched so alis na ko. Pagdaan ko sa kanya sa service station, he asked me, “Alis ka na? Di mo na ko hihintayin?” Sabi ko, wala kase ako kasabay. In my mind, “…unless you’ll bring me home, I’ll wait for you.” But of course that’s too impossible because he lives n Bulacan! And shucks, our conversation was cut because I saw K’ Jocel leaving and I went, “Iniwan na ko ni K’ Jocel!” Shucks, stupid Anne!

MG told me something kanina. Basta may nagtatanong daw ng something about me. (Don’t wanna elaborate) Me -> “Sinong nagtatanong?” MG -> “Sina Ken.” Me -> “Kelan?” MG -> “Dati pa.” He was inquiring about me way before? I wanna know nga kung kelan tong “dati pa” na to eh. I was also texting Mine kanina, she went, “Ang sweet niyo naman ni Ken!” So I was like, what did you hear? Sabi niya she didn’t hear anything, napapansin niya lang, eh we’re bagay naman daw. And yung pinakalast niyang text was “Dream of Ken.” Lol. Shucks, so they notice it too?! (Duh Anne.)

I found out today that K’ Dags and K’ Bry were hired May 3. Same with K’ Wald. Magkakabatch pala my 3 crushes. Hehehe. Ken’s 1 month senior.  2 months na lang siya sa Jollibee, until Sept 1. Tapos balak pa mag-resign. Tsk tsk.

Oh this is just so weird…I kept on singing “Can This Be Love?” (yup that Hero-Sandara movie theme) since kanina pa. WTF?

It’s my RD tomorrow! I dunno if RD din ni Ken cause last week, pareho kame RD ng Tuesday. I want to go to the store tomorrow but I’m so sinisipon to do so. I think I’ll rest during my free time.  Sinisipon ako!!! *sniff*
